The alto flute sounds interesting. Since a normal flute seems kind of like the black sheep of a jazz ensemble, I want to learn to play the bass flute instead.

How do you get out the really high notes on the bass clarinet, like C to E above the staff lines? It's in a song for band.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. the same way you do it with a regular clarinet...it's not much harder, i was playing the F above those notes in 9th grade.
