Barth would have offered the elf a handkerchief or something, but he was holding those peppermint sticks.
He was pretty sure the whole party still had very strong feelings about peppermint. The elf also seemed a little...unstable.

Jamais sighed as she got up and started walking, hoping Basil would catch up. Jam walked at a slow pace, she wondered where the reaper could've gotten lost at, it was a straight shot to the town.
It looked like the rest of the team was way ahead of her as she took her time in walking towards their goal. She frowned softly with a sigh.

Kaze Taco Alwine was absolutely heartbroken. She had never had to reject anyone before for anything! No one noticed poor Alwine, and now she knew why-- she was a complete jerk. She made an elf CRY. "Oh please don't cry! I'm so sorry, please... you're making me feel guilty. I'm sorry, I just-- please..." Alwine's HP: 19 Sadly, the elf just kept blubbering. It was probably miserable for everybody. Then again, it also might have been nice for people who needed to get away from all the JOY. HP: 5

"Here, you can use my friend's sash to wipe your eyes, okay?" Alwine untied Tsetsiliya's sash and moved to dab it at the elf's eyes. Unfortunately, she misjudged the distance and accidentally jabbed it into the waterfalls that were once his eyes.
"I'm sorry! Are you okay?!"

"Ack!" The elf recoiled from the attempt to 'dab' his eyes, instead frowning in complete disapproval and sniffling as he rubbed at the offended parts. SO MUCH PAIIINNN. HP: 3

The headless haunt looked over at Bartholomew before looking at the elf and kneeling down to his level.

The haunt felt a little guilty as she held the present in her hand.
"Thank you..." she called off to the little elf that ran off. It would've been so much easier for her to just kiss him, but it didn't feel right. Besides, he had so much JOY that his skin might've been acidic to ghosts or ... something...
Alwine felt even guiltier when a thought crossed her mind. She looked at the package that Barth had given her, and a familiar swell of familiar FEAR ran through her veins... she felt happy, even a little giddy.
"Barth..." she said, a little coyly (which was very strange for her. Very, very strange.) "I'll carry this for you, but it's going to belong to you, okay?"
She turned around and happily put both of the packages in her carpetbag.

A lot of the group was hugging and hair petting and touching and other equally awkward actions for Colette, so the Reaper felt awfully weird sticking around any longer. After an uncomfortable, "Err..," she creeped off further to get away from the affectionate mass, which was much easier in her opinion with more Joy-beings popping up to be a distraction, and only made it a couple yards before spotting large building.
Colette eyed the interesting entrances and their colors, realizing she must have arrived at the goal. Though, it was probably the gnomes surrounding the area that gave it away. Confident the others would find her footprints once the affection was over, she decided to move on.
The ghoul sighed, "Might as well," before ringing the bell, healing herself for 11HP, and moving towards the Red Door. She knew she would probably need the boost.

After returning Barths boot to him Mandy found herself befret of anything to do and sort of drifting into the background. She'd been doing that a lot since Candycane Lane, had Jingleberry done more then just run her through with a sword? Maybe his JOYfulness was the cause of her withdrawal.
Things to ponder later, for now she needed to pay attention, there was Reindeer and Elfs everywhere, they needed to get to their destination soon. She didn't know about the others but she was a bit sick of this traveling.
Nodding decisively she was about to call for them to get a move on when she looked up and saw Winnie and Barth. Was Winnie flirting with him!?! This place must be effecting her, Mandy had thought Winnie to shy for that. Though it was kind of funny, everyone seemed to be after the boil.
"Don't feel sorry for it, it never would have worked, the Elf should have known that."

"Err," he managed to give Alwine a tiny nod.
Barth heard a faint ringing and looked over just to see Colette disappear through a Red Door. Probably going to go get elf gunk off, or-
Actually, there were several colored doors. They couldn't be...? He'd almost forgotten the reason behind the whole sorry trip.
"Hey, isn't that, err, Santa's Whatsit?"
Colette had healed before going in. Which made sense. No telling what was in there. He gave Alwine a ring too, to get all that being stared at out of her system. Hopefully they could just...sneak in and sneak right back out.

Alwine felt refreshed and stretched out, letting her fingers unfurl out in their gloves.
"Sorry if I seemed forward... um, let's go ahead and follow Colette!!" Alwine walked ahead and opened the Red Door.
"It's pitch-black inside... okay, let's go..."

Christmas Town was not as fun as she had expected. It was virtually empty, at least until the reindeer and elves had started attacking. She didn't know what to make of the crybaby elf but Alwine seemed to handle it just fine. Of course, it was hard to see the fight from her position so she had to rely on her ears. Upon entering Christmas Town, she had seen a candy cane pole and thought it would be fun to lick it. Needless to say, she had ended up stuck there for the better part of two days while her friends were off fighting joy filled creatures. She was pretty sure she left a small piece of her tongue sticking to the pole as well. It was hard to tell. While she seldom felt much at all, she could tell her tongue was numb and a little swollen.
"I thinth thath wasth stuthid oth thme," she mumbled to herself. At least she pulled herself off from the pole in time to chase after her friends though the red door.
