((1-10 shift))

"Three reasons. One being that I think you're actually pretty cool so I don't really mind much. Two being that we're all Halloweeners in a messed up land. Three... you're warm," Jericho replied plainly, "So don't worry about it."

As he felt himself grow, the dragon tried to carefully get back onto all fours so that he wouldn't end up throwing Riley off his back from a sudden shift. Once he had finished morphing, he glanced back at her once more.

"I had a feeling that would have piqued your interest. I hadn't really seen any of the other toys do that."

"Actually, if a pink elephant jumped on your back to hitch a free ride, Mer, I'd still laugh." she grinned. Hey, at least she was being honest.

Then something new came up in the conversation. She hadn't really put any thought into what Mei meant by creator, but it did pique her interest as Merope brought it up. Mei's explanation seemed to give the gist of it, but she had to agree, it did kind of sound like a necromancer.

"Uh," Cyrilla thought on Mei's question for a few moments, before shaking her head. "I know I had parents when I was alive, but after I died, I don't really remember anyone." she shrugged, "When I reanimated, there wasn't anyone around, so... I guess I just came back on my own. I'm not really sure." the colchian dracolich furrowed her brow as they walked along.

"It's weird. But I don't really have anything else to go on."

Tari sighed as she continued on. She had to get to the end of the island and make her way across. She only hoped she could do that without her group. She had been seperated and now needed to find a way across. Maybe she'd run into a group she knew or one that would help her across if she needed.

Laiha was more than pleased to find the group on the other end of the path. The few JOYful toys remaining could easily be punted into the water to saturate and potentially drown. She only hoped there wasn't anything bigger on the other side to shove her into the water.

[[ I'll see you all in ZONE 3!! ]]

Was that... the end of the path? Were those shimmering lights strung along rooftops? Was the toy-filled nightmare finally (sort of) over?

Malodore hurried over the last bridge, squaring its shoulders as Luce padded beside it, her hackles slightly raised.

((Malodore is zoning out now~~))

Finally! The bridge. So close to the end goal he could taste it. He also tasted something else akin to what one might have called monster morning breath but that was normal, victory however was not. And looking at the bridge towards their end destination, Israfel victory tasted sweet. No more pink plaid monstrosities, no more jack'n boxes of moronic JOY filled freaks. No, after this there was just one goal left behind until the end. The end of this truly nightmarish trip.

Hellma, you are heavily disliked. Israfel hates you. You, your face, your mother, your couch, you corner, your fashion sense, and also you plans.
But mostly he hated her fashion sense. Really.

Sighing, Israfel saw Malodore go ahead but what of the others. "Lucien." He tugged on his friend's hand. "I want to make sure the other cross."

Sin reached into her pocket and blinked, why was there stuff in there? What did elves carry around in their pockets anyhow? She blinked as she pulled out a handful of...peanuts? What the heck? Well...she was sort of hungry, so she sighed and started to shell them as she walked. She chucked the shells behind her in the snow and then offered Alcie a handful of peanuts.

"Want some, I guess their an elf snack..." She huffed but popped a few in her mouth, it was better then nothing. With somekind of gleam up ahead she had a sinking suspicion that they were nearing Sandy Claws' true domain. They might just be peanuts but they were better then fighting on an empty stomach.

Nuk woke up still transformed, his HUGE wolfish form a ball of fluff where he had slept practically covering Sammy and Shehk with his monstrous body, keeping them warm all night long. He guessed if there was one good thing about it all, it was that -- his size was about that of one of those miniature ponies he'd seen on one of the posters of Christmastown, making him an excellent heated blanket. Of course, he didn't have a saddle or little bells or anything like the ponies, which was damn good, considering his behavior the night before... any more JOY and mark his words, he was going to go berserk. Sugar plums already felt WEDGED in his skull, doing a jig on his brain with steel-toed boots and giving him a massive headache. Sleeping had staved it off a bit, but when he'd tried to shift, he found himself still stuck, the fruits of his efforts a semi-painful snapping in his neck. After that he'd let himself slowly realign the bones, keeping the quadrupedal shape, figuring if nothing else, he had teeth and claws and a fast-moving body, even if he didn't have fingers to use his bazooka. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. There was still time.

Getting up out of the snow, the skinwalker gave a great stretch, arching his back and spreading his paws, yawning wide enough to fit a good-sized pumpkin within his jaws. It had been a good sleep, thanks to his cuddle-buddies, and Nuk took that moment to look over at them, completely-black eyes giving them a good lookover before he lifted his head, looking in the direction they were going. His ears were much better in this form (although they weren't too bad in human-form either) and from this short distance he could just pick up the sounds of distorted christmas music, making him cringe a little in disgust.

Still... so close. Sosososo close.

After having spoken to a rather well rested Mindflayer the idea of a nap had wormed its way into Sammy's head. Last she recalled she had curled up with Shehk and Nuk and then quickly fell into sleep.

When she did wake up it was from the sudden coolness of the wind washing over her. Something was up, one arm wrapped around Shehk her head resting on her side. Apparently they had slept rather well with Shehk blocked in by their bags, Sammy resting against her and Nuk flopped ontop it all. Which lea to the current problem. With Nuk wandering away Sammy had lost her fuzzy blanket dog. "Hey... hey flea bag... who said you could get up? Now I don't have a blanket..." she grumped quietly as she rolled over in the snow shivering slightly as another gust of wind drifted by. "Whats up Nuk? Siddie fall down a well? S'that why your up?"

Shehk had gone through a handful of transformations in the night, which probably had caused some painful elbowing for someone or other in the sleeping-party. However, thumbs had ultimately won out in that battle and Shehk had sleepily snuggled more into the pack-of-flesh that pretended-to-be-her-not-boyfriend in the night. It may have been part-warmth, part OH GOD IT'S FUZZY AND FUR AND FUUURRRRR. Just one of her little tactile things she had going on, really.

So it was much to her unhappiness when the warm furry body moved, giving her a nice gust of the cold air to prompt a small whine as she shifted and opened one eye, her ears drooping. Hnnnghhhh. However, she did seem to realize she'd be best suited to get up, stretching out until her back felt properly aligned, leaning back to flump against one of the Skinwalker's sides.

"You're really warm..." she mumbled, rubbing her face into his dark fur. "That may have just been the warmest I've been the entire time I've been here.." Shehk looked over at Sammy. "How about you? Are you warm enough?" Being undead, Shehk had actually never checked with Sammy to see if they both had improper circulation... then again, it wouldn't be too far off for both girls to have the cold-touch-of-death to their names.

That -would- have been their luck, after all.

"Did you sleep wall?" she pressed further as she got up, stretching again before she buried her face back into Nukpana's neck, combing her fingers through his fur in a sort of stroking pet.

Pet...
pet.... Mmmm.

"And you.." she turned her head to look towards the skinwalker's face. "We weren't too horribly uncomfortable to sleep with, were we?" I DIDN'T ACCIDENTALLY KICK YOU IN THE NIGHT, DID I?

You only had to accidentally kick someone once before you asked in future instances.

It was surprising that nothing had attacked him here, not when the toy monsters had been attacking just about everyone, but he wasn't one to curse his currently odd stream of good luck.

He did wish that he knew where his traveling companions had disappeared to, and he supposed that he would run into them eventually. They were all going to the same place after all, and, if, for some weird reason he didn't find them there, they would find each other on the train, right?

He shrugged. Not much he could do about it now. He took a deep breathe and continued to the next area.

Julian flew pretty well with the group, up until he turned back into his human form again. He landed with a sigh a few feet ahead of the others. The change had been bad when he was on the ground, it was worse in the air. It worried him even more to fly over the water now, since changing mid-flight had caused him to waver and almost come crashing down to the ground. Needless to say, he dropped his lights.

The demon walked back a few paces, stooping to pick them up. He straightened, watching the group catching up.

"I don't think it's much farther," he said with a small shrug, pointing in the direction he'd seen the bridge in when he'd been higher up. His feathers fluffed up as he wrapped his wings around his shoulders, turning as he hid his arms and the lights he'd more or less looped over his shoulder in a feathery cloak. He'd take his tent and other things from Christof, but there was no telling when he'd turn back and it just seemed pointless, really.

Julian let out a rasping hiss as he dodged out of the way of the absurd little... thing, his wings flinging back from around him. He had no idea if this was better or worse than that stupid tree from earlier, though it looked much more fragile.
And smaller.
And not as hard. Physically of course.

He lashed out with one clawed hand at it.

And missed. Looks like hitting it would be the hard part.
