 Mia couldn't help but smile as she walked towards the Oasis and she had every reason to: she went from having one friend to three. Well, one of them is probably very bitter that she is now a "pet" but Mia would try to ignore that; she would prove herself worthy to her Zangoose eventually.

Though maybe it was a twisted ...sort of directions she was following as she would actually find herself getting further from the Oasis. A swirl of wind and she would see that there was nothing there ...the Oasis was gone in a swirl of wind and Venus would only nod.
IT was a special Oasis ...it seems to only show itself to the wild pokemon that lived here. If they weren't any here, than the Oasis itself seems to disappear as easily as mist.
There was only way to go now, and it was forward as Mia would see the outskirts of the desert and three different areas that all border each other in front of them.
The Red forest, the Blue Rock, or the Yellow Sands ...those were her choices.

Mia came to an abrupt stop. She was supposed to be at the Oasis by now, but instead she was lost. 'Yellow Sands... That's where I'm supposed to go and catch a Pokemon in order to receive the Stunky...' It only made sense that she should choose the Yellow Sands but she was tempted by the Red Forest. She decided to follow her gut feeling and go towards the Red Forest.

RED FOREST An area just outside of the desert, and closer to the seas. Thanks to the heat of the desert, the water that has lapped upon the desert shores had become water for the trees beyond it. Here, it rains quite often ...., and because of this rain and the lushness of the forest a lot of normal type pokemon had agreed to make this place their home with the very rare bug type that has nestle here as well amongst the island shrubbery. Since this forest was grown from the heart of a desert, the trees themselves took on a red tint that reflects that color. Red- Hungry Ghost Roll# 1 - Pidgey lvl: 3 Roll# 2 - Slakoth lvl:3 Roll# 3 -Happiny lvl: 3 Roll# 4 -Togepi lvl: 3 Roll# 5 - Caterpie lvl: 3 Roll# 6 - Starly lvl: 3 Roll# 7 - Glameow lvl: 3 Roll# 8 - Azurill lvl: 3 Roll# 9 - Vibrava lvl: 3 Roll# 10 - Berry Tree Roll# 20 - Special Event Upon this area, Mia would take her first steps as she actually ends up underneath a huge berry tree. Hanging from it's branches are Oran berries ...three that were ripe and ready to be pluck ....as it would seem that her luck was good ..exceptionally good and this place might actually yield some interesting choose of pokemon for her. Upon arrival, she couldn't help but gasp at the sight; the trees actually looked red and it was absolutely amazing. She knew she had made the right choice when she noticed the berry tree and the three ripe Oran Berries. She plucked them off the tree and put them away in her satchel.
She walked past the tree and kept walking forwards, hoping to make it to the other side quickly enough.

The trees made the grounds seemed to shimmer with colors of red and orange as the light of the day filter through the trees. Mia had no idea how lucky she was to be walking through this place and it was dry instead of raining.
Though it was because of this fact that the forest instead of being silent or the sound of the rain was all she could hear ....the sound of the pokemon life could actually be heard.

After a few minutes of walking around, she understood why this place was called the 'Red Forest': Everything had a tint of red... The trees, the leaves, the ground, everything. It just seemed so peaceful, with the sound of Pokemon nearby and far away.

Though this peace wasn't normal ...this tranquility a lie. For the life and death story of pokemon was normally seen .....as those that struggled to survive fought everyday for their livelihood, so what had changed now.
Was it her presences that had created this peace, or was something lurking and hiding and waiting for the right moment to bring chaos and a screeching halt to this peacefulness.

Mia knew that it couldn't be this peaceful for too long, but she enjoyed for the peaceful moments she did have. She took her time, enjoying the scenery, trying to view the most possible.

And there she would see it nestle at the base of the tree ...in leaves that were still wet from the recent rains. A Azurill, the small pokemon had it's tail tucked around itself as it simply slept ....as his eyes remain closed, and he nestle deeper into the leaves.

Noticing the sleeping Azurill, Mia couldn't decide if she wanted to try and wake him up to battle. She didn't have a water Pokemon on her team yet, and Azurill would eventually evolve in a Marill, which is a water type. But would he be as alert during the fight? Mia wanted a fair battle.
"Hey there... How about a battle?" Mia called out to the small Pokemon, trying to wake him up. She didn't want to get to close in case he woke up in surprise and attacked her.

The Azurill woke up sluggishly as it blinks and sat up to look at her. Yawning lightly in her face ....as it's tail moved up to it's face to rub away the tears that had formed there as it looks at Mia again.
It took a second for it to register what it saw, but he jumped to his feet immediately as his tail wags from one side to another.
A human, it knew immediately what humans were for ....as the pokemon bust free of his nest and slide to a stop in front of his opponent. His tail waving from one side to another as he ready himself for battle.
His ears pin against his skull she showed his teeth ...though the entire expression still came off overly cute.
He was ready for battle.

Mia watched the small blue Pokemon wake up, yawning, jumping to his feet and trying to be intimidating... It was all just so overbearingly cute. But Mia refused to let the Azurill's cuteness distract her. She looked back at her three Pokemon, trying to decide which one would be best. "Slash, this one is all yours," she said, knowing the Zangoose would be more than happy to get battle. "And it appears that you attack first... So use Scratch!" Slash started running towards the Azurill, claws ready to attack, confident that she could win this battle.

The Azurill would jump backwards as his tail would cross in front of himself. The move meant to block the attack or to at least parr it ....as he hops from one foot to another. His ears down ...he wasn't going to be taken down so easily by the overgrown pokemon ....as he pretty much skipped off his feet as he pushes off with an almost downward slash of his own ....a strike to defend him from the Zangoose's claws.
