The Psycho Clown
"I am a God!"
Terra had let loose a powerful spell. But it was just that. A spell. Magic. This was Kefka's realm of expertise. So while it hit him, full force, he took it. He knew he could, and then some. A lot. When the spell had calmed, he would be there. His feet on the ground, his wings still, and yet he remained ready. He looked like a tiger that was stalking it's prey. But this was no game of cat and mouse anymore. She had tipped the lid off the volcano.
With all of the stillness, all of the calm, it was easy for him, in his readied state, to hear the footsteps behind him. But he didn't move. Not yet. He waited for the footsteps to stop. Then he counted two seconds. And once again, he showed that he wasn't the physical weakling that he had a reputation for. Kefka was, in fact, quite the soldier.
With a speed that would defy his size, he shot to the left. One step out and then his body twisted. His right wings tucked in and he turned his head to see Cloud miss him by inches. His body continued to twist and as he came around his right hand would be in position to take a free shot on Cloud's back. But he let it go. He wasn't here to kill. He was here to test. He was here to break. This would be a personal victory that none would know other than himself.
When Cloud was near Terra, he spoke. His words were lost on Kefka as the man was wildly racing in his head around an idea that was, to put it bluntly, brilliant. There weren't very many chances to really mess with someone. Not like this. Not in the way he was about to royally tear into Terra's heart, her psyche, her soul. He would make her question her very existence. And all the while, he would do it while playing with Cloud as well.
So he began his next phase of the test.
"Cloud, is it? I read about you. Nothing like I had pictured. And, much slower. But I digress. You fancy yourself a fighter. But, you lack finesse. You lack that drive to be better. For instance ..." He held out his hand and before him there was beginning to form a bubble in what could only be described as actual reality. The very world was shifting where he was beginning to tear a hole into a whole new realm. A realm of Espers. "This man ..." And, from the portal a form started to materialize. It was large. Masculine. His skin was bronze and he looked very regal. And yet, he looked defeated.
"This man was once a proud member of the realm of Espers. Terra's people. I killed them. Absorbed most of them long before I took down the triad. They were weak. This man was no exception. But before that, he strived to be better than what he was. He wanted so desperately to save his family that he forsook his own people and left them."
Kefka, at this point let the portal close. The man before him was nothing more than a slave of the shell that once was. But, it was enough. Even the apparition. For the soul still lived. Each, and every one, of those who were summoned to do the bidding of others. They bore the weight of their actions, be them good or evil, and had no say in the matter.
"He got so far as to lead them to some margin of safety. You see, an army of humans was invading his realm. And he, selflessly, ushered his human wife away. But it was too late. She was caught. Her, and his daughter." The look on his face was priceless. Kefka was talking to Cloud but his eyes were bearing into Terra.
At that point, the large Esper could only look at Terra as well. His face was one of sorrow. He couldn't even utter the words, 'Sorry' because Kefka did not will it so.
Kefka was done. At least for now. He would let what he said sink in. Terra would figure it out. Hopefully. And, he wanted to see how she would take the news. "Go, Maduin ..." The name was something she might know. If not, well then this wouldn't be half as interesting as he had hoped. "Show these children your power."
There was a slight pause, and Kefka almost looked nervous for a second. His head twitched to the side and in that moment the Esper said two words. "Forgive me ..." But as quickly as it had wrested it's own will from Kefka it was under his control again. And now things got really fun. Because the Epser unleashed his ability. Chaos Wave.
The room in front of him erupted. Literally. The area was flooded with chaotic powers that sent normality to hell and back. Shards flew, pieces broke, everything was, no pun intended, chaos. So much so that the area would be blanketed in a cloud of dark matter. There was no ash, or even dust, so what it was could be anyone's guess. However, it did disrupt the vision enough for Kefka to, once again, shift his position. He took back to the air and now he was fitting his single materia slot with a different, green stone.
Let phase two begin. He was ready.

Terra Branford Terra's focus was set onto Kefka, so much that nothing else seemed to exist to her at this very moment. That also included Cloud, who was lucky enough to not be in the path of Ultima when it was cast at Kefka.Cloud had landed in front of her JUST as the cast was heading for him. It was only moments after she would see her spell meeting Kefka full force, that she noticed Cloud now in front of her. How did it come to this? She was here to rescue him, yet.....
She had no time to think about that! "Cloud..?! ....You have to leave...! " She wanted to warn him this wasn't the Kefka he may of remembered. This was a whole new power, a deadly and unbeatable power within the man who called himself a God that Cloud would not know.
Turning to Kefka now, Terra stepped out from behind the swordsman, her eyes fixed onto her enemies. He was now speaking to Cloud, and she knew he was going to start trying to mess with his mind, this was something Kefka was very good at...But before she could open her mouth to speak..she was silenced by Kefka's next actions. The things he could do that would make anyone full of certainty that this man was in fact a God. Terra's attention settled on the figure in which began to materialize before her very eyes.. "...??"
Terra had never knew her parents, for she was only a baby at the time of losing her parents, and being taken by Gestahl only to be soon raised by the empire as a living weapon. There were no stories to learn of her family, but she knew in her heart her parents were wonderful and loved her, that was all she needed. Though...as her eyes were drawn to the man's own something stirred in her, a feeling she couldn't quite understand. Something about him seemed...so familiar, not only due to the fact he was clearly an Esper, but far more then that. Her own heart was playing at a so many mixed emotions, she didn't know how to feel. Happy? Sad? Why was she happy deep down? The look of sorrow in his eyes only tore at her own heart.
And then....Kefka said it. His words played in her head for several seconds before it all clicked. Human mother...Esper father. "...My...Father..?? " Terra was in shock, all these years she had put her own image in her mind of how she thought her father may of looked, and now, she would no longer have to wonder.Though she didn't want that sorrowful look to be the last thing she remembered of him! "No..! " Unfortunately, she didn't seem to register that Maduin was not truly living, not as he once was, but enslaved by Kefka as a summon, his soul trapped. "Don't do this!! Why must you do such terrible things?!! Please!! Leave my father alone! Let him go!"
Terra took several quick paced steps closer, she needed to get to him, she had to save him! If only that were possible, as before she could even make it close to her father, his own ability was unleashed. Stopping where she stood, Terra braced herself for whatever may hit her, she didn't know his abilities, though anyone who knew Terra, one might guess they were devastating. And that they were...It was almost as if the entire cave would come down on them at any second, filled with darkness all around them for mere moments as the dark matter filled the entire cavern...
When, and if the dark matter had settled just enough that they could see again, though...Terra was already rushing toward her father, if anyone could help him, it would be her, right? It was the only thing in her mind now. "Stop..If you really are my father....You will fight him! Fight Kefka...I-I know you can...please! " Her words were cracking, and her eyes glassy, Kefka had done so many terrible things in her life, but this...? This was to much... "I won't fight you....I will not! "

Cloud Strife "There's not a thing I don't cherish!" "No," Was all Cloud said in reply to Terra's insistence that he leave. He would much rather HER leave, but neither of those things were going to happen clearly. His attention was then set on Kefka, who was speaking to him now. "Don't pretend like you know me," he said. He was about to continue, but Kefka began talking about this new person who showed up. Cloud obviously had no knowledge of the Espers outside of his interactions with Terra. He hadn't even known she was only half-Esper prior to this. Though when Kefka spoke about the man, it reminded Cloud of Nanaki's father more than anything, oddly enough. But that hardly mattered right now; Cloud didn't put the pieces together until he noticed how Kefka's eyes bore into Terra as he said this. He began to suspect, then Terra's words gave him confirmation. "Damn it..." This would complicate things. "Terra! Stop!" Cloud said, reaching out to try to grab her by the arm. "It's a trick! Don't fall for this!" ...Not that he couldn't sympathize. He had never met his father either, and it would tear at him if something like this happened to him. But he needed Terra to try to stay strong, considering who they were fighting. His grip was loosened and torn away as the new spell was cast, and he brought his arm up to cover his eyes for a moment, before lowering it and examining the carnage that seemed to be enveloping the area. Jenova might have to find a new hole to crawl into if this kept up. "Damn it!" He shouted, raising the Fusion Sword, spinning it around a few times as it picked up a current of wind, and he reared it back, before slashing it out, throwing out the wind in the form of a tornado, as he used his Limit Break, Finishing Touch. His hope was that it would be enough to dispel Chaos Wave, but even if it didn't do that, it might be able to throw Kefka and his new ally into the wall or ceiling, hopefully breaking the Esper's concentration and thus ending the spell if it worked. K E F K A
The Psycho Clown
"I am a God!"
There were those who would have stopped to admire the girl in her desperate attempts to sway the bonded soul of her father. Some might even sympathize with her feeling that such things were cruel and unjust. And, there were some who would go so far as to say that all of her love would be enough to break the hold over the foreign esper. But, Kefka was none of those things. He was a devious, sadistic, twisted individual. One who could have cared less about the misfortune that Terra now found herself in. The moral implications losing themselves on the man who fancied himself a god.
But now things were going to get down right nasty. Kefka had seen her power. He had tipped her emotions into play and was taking meticulous notes. Even now, amidst all of the carnage, he was weighing the woman he considered a test subject. And while her power was great, he was interested in something more. He didn't want to kill her. Or to even beat her. He wanted something much worse. He wanted to break her. "This should do the trick ..." The last words mumbled under his breath.
The materia he had inserted into his jewelery was none other than a nice little 'gift' he had picked up from one of his torture patients. It was called Mystify. Kefka had, of course, already figured out everything there was to know about it's useful abilities. It could do one of two things to an individual it was cast on. Confuse, which was a nice way to get someone to attack those they were working with. And, the one he would be using for this next phase of the test, Berserk. It made the person that it was cast on go mad with rage. So much so that the only thing they could do would be to attack the enemy. No matter who that enemy was. Oh the joy. Oh the great joy.
And so it would be. While the girl was busy trying to connect with her father on a level that would simply not ever happen, Kefka tapped his finger to the materia and whispered something. The spell was loose. He was hoping to catch Terra off guard in her attempts to sway her father into joining the light side. But honestly, who was she kidding? Here on the dark side, they had cookies. Besides, if she was thinking clearly she would have known far in advance that summons didn't work like that. But all in all, it was too late.
She would soon feel the haze of rage. The all seeing red that came with the uncontrollable urge to strike out with everything she had. She would know it! Know it in the biblical sense. She would be intimate with that feeling. And she would embrace it. Give into it! "Mweee heee heeeeeeee!"
Just then Kefka was shaken. That stupid boy. "Hmm ..." The eyes of the devil were now falling on the spikey haired teen. The psycho Clown had amassed quite a few abilities since becoming the god of magic. Some that were quite extraordinary. For instance, he could alter reality. As shown earlier. And telekinesis, like when he was alone with Terra. Or even, and at this point he smiled, create his own magics. Oh yes. Being a god certainly had it's perks. But, for now, he would indulge the wannabe fighter.
He dropped to his feet with a grace that was reserved for masters of their art. His form began to shrink back to it's human proportions. He was slowly walking towards Cloud at this point, his body coming back to its normal appearance. When he was done, everything was back the way it had been before he was stabbed, he pulled two things from behind him. One was a small bottle. The other was a thin bladed weapon that shimmered with unholy beauty. He popped the cork from the bottle and downed the drink in one gulp. Then he motioned to Cloud. "I do think it would be wise for us to leave her alone for now. Come. Show me how much of a fighter you think you are. Or is that too much for you to handle? Can you not wrap your simple little head around the idea that maybe, just maybe, you're too scared to go toe to toe with a god? I really don't blame you. Everything I've read says you have a habit of running when things get tough."
He let his words linger while, slowly pacing to the boy's left. If the fight broke out, Kefka may not be enough to handle Cloud in a physical bout. But he was certainly no slouch. He would revel in the opportunity to see what this kid could do when angered. "So what is it going to be, kid? Are you going to be a hero and try to save the girl from killing her father? In her state, she may mistake you for something else. Can you handle her? I doubt it. Or do you face me? See if you have what it takes to really be a man! To go beyond your fears. To be better than a clone ..." His last word was said with venom. He wanted it to sting. He wanted Cloud to know that he knew. "Or! Do you turn tail and run like you've always done?"
Meanwhile, Maduin was under the will of Kefka. And his will was to fight. So when Terra got close enough to reach at him, he pulled back and held his right palm forward. Power building for another blast of his chaos wave. If there was any doubt in Terra's mind as to who the enemy was, providing she could still think that clearly, then now there would be none. Maduin was the enemy. And he would fight her with everything he had because he had no choice.

Terra Branford To be so easily swayed may be one of Terra's biggest faults, given the right push, it seemed her mind wasn't strong enough to fight back against the magic cast on her.She couldn't stop it,When it came to the power of Kefka, there was almost no way to fight it sometimes, even for one particularly strong like Terra in her own magic. So, even with Cloud's voice there was no recognizing or breaking free once the spell was upon her.
The uncontrollable rage filled her heart, The question was if she had ANY sense in her mind left at this point, her body didn't seem to move as though she did, as she suddenly dashed forward, Apocalypses pointed right for her father, where she aimed she had little control, so it could be in a lethal area such as where his heart might be, his throat, or his shoulder. In the second her blade came in contact with him, had it done so, her free hand struck his right hand with clawed nails to break his spell, Terra would continue to strike at him, slash, and claw like that of a wild animal. The curse of the berserk spell, there was no stopping it until it wore off, or she was killed.

From the ceiling, for only a split second, quicker then the mind could normally process, came down a large spiked formation from the cavern's ceiling, it was headed right for Kefka. Had he not moved in time he may end up impaled by a very large spike, from above. What a similarity that held. That was when a silver blur might of caught Cloud and Kefka's attention, the silvery hair of a teenage girl clad in dark elegant armor. Her sword in hand would come down next, hoping to cleave through the clown's stomach, she wanted to see his blood covering her blade. "Or you can play with me instead.." The teens mako-teal green eyes narrowed onto Kefka's own twisted ones.
For only a second, she turned to Terra, throwing a Remedy to her, as well as casting a quick dispelled, hoping it would cancel this affects onto Terra and give her back control, before returning her attention back to him.
Meanwhile, the crimson glow surrounding Terra seemed to subside, the berserk spell had been dispelled. And just like that, it was in those seconds as Terra's senses returned to her, that she rushed for Kefka, intent on cutting him through.....at least enough to make him run, or give them time to escape.............

Kefka was about to boast about his new accomplishment when yet another pesky child decided to meddle in his affairs. At this point, as annoyed as he was getting, he couldn't help but notice that something was different about this new girl. She had strength. Real power. Like Terra. But different. However, that was something he could look at later. Right now he had a test to conclude.
And conclude he would.
However, the new girl had set Terra free of her berserking prison. Albeit, a bit too late. The damage was done. Her father, the Esper Maduin, was dead. Again. Kefka had killed him once. Terra had simply done it a second time. He was all for letting that little victory set in if it hadn't been for the fact that Terra was pissed. Kefka was a powerful man. More so than anyone had a right to be. But even then, he did not want to push the girl too much further. Not yet.
He was not scared, not at all. He had no doubt in his mind that he could easily defeat the inhabitants of the cave. But, he was not done breaking her. He needed to see it on her face. He needed to see her know that she was broken and that there was no more hope. He could not finish that endeavor here. What he could do was conclude the test. So he did.
A moment too late.
With his attention focused on the new girl, his mind distracted by thoughts of glorious breaking, he failed to notice that Terra was already on him. The bottle he had drank from earlier carried in it a potion of healing. And now, once healed, Terra had ripped his side open again. That slight annoyance turned back into that overbearing rage. He lashed out with that rage once again. Only this time he didn't let it get the better of him.
He let loose a massive fire spell and yelled something fierce. Where it was aimed wasn't really his concern. He was too angry to see straight. Time to play was over. Kefka was about to get serious.

Terra Branford As she felt herself once again in control, it had already engraved itself into her mind. She could see everything she had just done in those few moments against her father. Even the sounds of her own claws slashing into the mans flesh remained there, playing at the back of her mind continuously. The images remained, flashed like a endless terror. Terra's sorrowful eyes began to turn to something more. Something of pure rage and hate, all of which was now directed to the man responsible. "........" These eyes were not seen by many but maybe Cloud, and even then they weren't as dark and corrupted. There was only so much this woman could take, and this was apparently her limit. The Esper Terra, was returning to her living weapon days, only with full control of herself.
His fierce yell went ignored, and as the fire ball was set lose, what did Terra do? She flew, right into it. Upon the impact and her own adrenalin, she barely noted the damage it would of done to her, her mind wasn't focused on the pain it brought to her, but revenge and the death of Kefka. The Apocalypses blade struck out about the time she was in the middle of the fiery hell, sending off her own flare, which followed many holy orbs to fly toward Kefka all the while she was still coming, about to impale him if she had such luck.

The Psycho Clown
"I am a God!"
He had come to this place with a few specific goals in mind. He was scouting, more than anything. Looking for a place, in this new world, to call his own. After he had learned of materia, this place seemed to have the highest concentration of the same type of energy. So, naturally, he thought that there would be more materia, hence more power, in this location. And he was right. It seemed that this place was a direct link to those energies that created the materia.
What he didn't plan for was Terra. Or her blond bimbo of a friend. Or the black haired witch. Terra was a nice addition. The blond was annoying. The witch was just a down right nuisance. Together, they weren't a real threat. But he didn't really want to waste the energy on them. Besides, with Terra barging in he found himself with a few more goals. Goals he had seen realized. At least, in the short term. The seed had been sown. The deed done. In this moment, with Terra charging him, he had but one more task to complete. And so he would.
He turned towards the girl, his arms out. Her spells were, quite literally, cast aside and she swept his arms across his body. Still turned he hesitated. ON purpose. Her blade found his flesh. More than being annoyed, he physically strained against his own rage to keep in control of himself. It was a battle he did not easily win. But here, now with her sword buried in his side, he reached out and, once again, wrapped his bony fingers around her neck. This time pulling her close so he could whisper into her ear.
He didn't need to give her a long speech on how she had just killed her own father. She would do that all on her own. Her conscious playing against her. No. He only needed to say one word. And one word was all he said. His voice calm, soft, full of conviction. He whispered into her ear. Power was not always manifest in the physical abilities of one's own skills. No. Power was, more often than not, in the words of those with the voice.
"Muderer ..."
He let the word sink in for a moment before he thrust his arm forward. Terra would go flying. Her sword ripping from his flesh in much the same way it had before. But this time he did not get angry. He smiled. When she gained her footing she would have enough time to hear Kefka laugh his signature laugh. Hie eyes would meet hers and he would point to the dead body of the Esper as it began to dissolve into ashes. He had won this day. And many, many more to come. That was for certain. So with his great victory he laughed once more and vanished. The escape spell always ready on his list for instances just like this.

Terra Branford The blade had found it's way into Kefka's tainted flesh, though it didn't seem to hurt him as much as she had hoped. Terra's eyes were obvious when they bared down into his cold ones, that all she wanted to see, was pain in his own eyes. She wouldn't be so lucky. Terra began to twist the blade ever so slightly, her teeth bared and a slight grow could be heard. Next, the surprise came to her as he shot out his hand, wrapping his fingers around her neck, sending chills down her own spine. His touch was enough to do that to her and anyone he came in contact so closely.
His whispered words entered her ear, causing Terra's eyes to widen.Murderer he said... "....F-Father...." It had really began to sink into her broken mind now, through all her rage and adrenaline she was piecing together what just happened...REALLY happened. She truly was a murderer...of her own father...?
But, before Terra could make any further moves or say a single word to him, she was sent flying back several feet, knocking into a few structures of the cave along the way before finally making that harsh impact with the hard rocky floor. After several seconds, she was able to regain herself, struggling briefly to stand enough to meet his twisted, sick eyes once more. She followed to the figure he pointed out then, only to see the body of her father fading and dissolving into ashes. That...was enough...She couldn't handle this anymore!
The tears had began to fall heavily, and it almost seemed as though she were about to lose it completely. Energy of her own Esper form was radiating and beginning to spark and snap around her form... "T-Take ..Cloud out of here...to safety..." She managed to say, before turning away, she couldn't bring herself to look at him at this point. Kefka had won... "Forgive me....I have to go! I have to be alone! " And with that, Terra took off in a pink blur, her esper form would easily get her out of here, and she knew Sephriea could even easier teleport him to a safe place.. Sephriea kind of just stood there, in a bit of shock herself over the last few seconds that rushed by quicker then her own mind could register."....Maybe it is best she has time alone..." She sighed, turning to Cloud now.. "We should leave this place...I think once Terra is calmed down, she will find you at Balamb...Right now that seems to be the best place for you to be.." There was really no other way for Cloud to leave here, there was no airship or golden chocobo to get him out, and Sephriea wasn't about to just leave him here. So, with no further words, she and Cloud would vanish from the cave, where she would teleport him back to Balamb.

Chara At the same time, on nearly the other side of the world... "Finally." A voice echoed throughout the cave. A voice full of malice. "Another world..." The little girl grinned, a wide, evil grin. She had a knife in her hand, covered in white dust. And then, monsters. "Another world... same pests." She said, though her tone indicated she would find much more pleasure in this than her words implied. A lamina slithered towards her quickly. A little girl who wandered in here... what easy pray! But when the lamina got close enough to attack, she couldn't react fast enough to stop the REAL KNIFE from cutting into her. As a general rule, a knife wouldn't do too much damage to monsters, except maybe lower-level ones. But the lamina immediately collapsed to the ground, dead. "..." What a pitiful gain from that battle. She hoped there was more to offer in this world than monsters of that low caliber. And then, an Iron Giant. Strange to see one that wasn't in the far depths of the cave. It could be that it heard the little girl when she arrived. Raising its large blade, which was bigger than the girl's body, it swung down with all its might, at great speed. The girl side-stepped, easily avoiding the attack. Then, she swung the knife. A knife that, in theory, could never pierce the Iron Giant's armor. But the Iron Giant immediately went down, dead. "..." She walked past the bodies as they faded away, in the direction of the core of the cave. There WAS a powerful monster here. She could feel it...(( OoC: ))

The brown haired male was crouched down in the Northern Crater, a unhappy expression seemed to be etched permanently onto his face for the time being. He pushed a hand through his still snow covered hair hair and quietly spoke to himself," So far...this makes the third important thing I've missed. Dammit, I don't have any excuse for this one......"He clenched his fists, incredibly angry with himself and feeling useless which seemed to be a pretty common feeling to him nowadays. He closed his eyes, and heard a faint response," No need to feel guilty over it, you were dealing with that blonde psycho and Kalika after all. Hell, I doubt they even noticed you weren't around. Heh, isn't that usually the case though Ethan?" A sigh left Ethan slips and his eyes opened to see a silhouette standing before him made out of shadows," I figured that it was you Blaze. And no that doesn't really cheer me up. Now begone!" He lifted his hand and the barely visible silhouette cringed as darkness formed around it, and began to absorb the figure. "But..you are probably right...." The male decided that it might be for the best that he stayed away from people for a while... Quite some time had passed since he decided to take up residence here at the Northern Crater, it was probably a incredibly odd and...quite possibly idiotic decision. He had found a portion of the tunnel that he could safely hollow out and ended up teleporting a small capsule like home that seemed built for just this kind of purpose. And his hopes of avoiding people and trying not to interfere with his friends lifes were succeeding for the most part. Or at least those he considered his friends. He even created a barrier that alerts him whenever someone enters it or the prescense of a monster appears. Even though he doubted anyone showing up here, especially now that it seemed like Jenova had abandoned this place. And considering how stubborn that being was, it must have been for a good reason. The 'small' home had plenty of rooms and looked a bit like it had once been some form of bunker. And sitting outside it infront of a small campfire was the brown haired male holding a stick with a hotdog on it. He was wearing a blue short sleeved shirt with the sleeves cut off and a worn pair of tan pants. His green eyes gazed around the cavern and a chuckle came from his laps as the sizzling fire crached and popped. The smell of fresh firewood and cooked meat could make any carnivores mouth water, actually the main reason he started cooking outside over the fire like this was just in case any way ward traveler lost their way and ended up in the cave. He began to speak to himself, it was unsure if this had become a new habit of his or if it was because he had started getting lonely," Okay, I finally got everything set up here...water...electricity...And all on my own. I pierced my own ears, mostly just to prove that I could to it....Did I have anything else on my to do list?" He put his free hand under his chin and closed his eyes trying to remember what else he was going to do.

___Corrin___ "I make my own fate!" "Hmmm... getting closer..." ...Corrin... was... walking through The Northern Cave, apparently. He held a small picture with him, constantly looking down at it then back up, scanning the area. "It's so dark in here..." Because caves were notorious for being so well-lit and all. "Let's see- hmmm...." And suddenly... in the distance... a small creature, holding a torch in one hand and a knife in the other. "Aww, you're so cute!" The creature took a step towards him. "Hmm? You want to come over? Aww, I bet you just want to be pet." The creature took another step forward. "Hmmm..." It took another step, getting closer. "Well, I'm sorry, but I'm kinda looking for something right now. Maybe later!" The creature took another step, almost to him, when... he just walked away. ...Corrin may never know how close he was to losing his life on this day. And soon he neared the very core of the cave, hopping down platforms. "It's... it should be..." Aha, it was right here... in a crack on one of the platforms... "It's true!" Corrin's face lit up as he leaned down, his gloved hand brushing the... flower. ...The one, lone flower. .....He came to the most dangerous cave in the world for... a flower. Who even gave him this info in the first place? It wasn't here when Cloud's party originally came here. The flower itself was rather beautiful though--unlike anything else in the world. The petals almost glowed with a vibrant silver and pinkish color. Hmm! What did that remind him of? "Apparently this is called a "Dragonlily," and this is the only known one in the entire world. Neat, huh?" ...Who was he talking to? ...Himself, in fact. He carefully picked the flower, standing up and holding it gently. "Alright! This is perfect!" He paused. "...W-wait, is one flower really a good enough Christmas present...? ...Ahh, did I mess this whole thing up? I've been looking for this for months. But it's just one flower! Gods, imagining the disappointed look on Felicia's face..." So Corrin spent literal MONTHS searching for ONE flower that he found in what was probably the most dangerous cave in the world all to make it a gift for his wife, Felicia. It was hard to be sure if he was a hopeless romantic or a hopeless idiot. ""Oh, that's... great, Corrin..." ...Agh, I'm so stupid...!" Shadows began to gather around him. "...Uh?" Apparently talking to yourself really loudly while there were dangerous monsters around wasn't the greatest idea, as it seemed a crowd of Iron Giants gathered around him. "...Oh, uh... hey there." One raised its blade. "You wouldn't happen to know good gifts for someone's wife, would you? No? Alright, bye!" His head morphed into his dragon head, his dragon wings extending from his back as he took off into the air, making for a quick exit from the dangerous cave with his prize(?) while the area he was just occupying was being smashed by the giant blade.
