There were no doors going down the long hall. Likely only a path that led to another section of the large underground laboratory. Like the illusion filled hall, the walls curved and were rounded. The door at the end of the hall wouldn't be visible until the Count was a mere few feet from it. Luckily no one had found the Count yet. Unluckily... if someone came through the other end, there was no where for Edmond to go but back. A door opened from the end of the hall Edmond was heading towards. He was getting close to the end of it, but footsteps indicated that someone was going to be coming to meet him. Someone... small though. The footsteps echoing down the hall were light and almost scrapped against the ground as they walked. A young girl with long red hair soon appeared around the curve of the hall as the door closed. She looked exactly like the Rosie 2.0 that had left earlier. Same outfit, hair, everything. What was different was the expression on her face when she stopped and looked up at the man. She didn't recognize him... and she wasn't sure what to do about the stranger.

When the Count saw Rosie arrive he was at first relieved because he had not yet noticed she did not recognize him. He took a step towards her slightly faster then his other steps and then came to a complete and sudden stop. It was the look on her face that made his realize she did not know him. Meaning she was simply another Rosie. He had two different choices and he chose the one that seemed most helpful for him. "Hello, I'm new here. I was supposed to be working security and got called over to the entrance to do a surveillance check but I got lost. Could you point me in the right direction." The Count asked. The things he had against him were the fact he was wearing a mask and that she may know all the security. But on the up side she did not know him or why he was here and may find it hard to believe someone got in and has been roaming around freely for an extended period of time.

The girl gave Edmond an odd, quizzical look. "Um.... do you have a pass?" she asked. "And which entrance are you supposed to be at? We have like... five different tunnel systems and three main entrances. And the telepads, but those are way broken still." she replied.

Edmond took out the pass he had taken from Octavious. "They are still getting mine ready so Dr. Octavious lent me his so I could get to the northern exit." The count replied calmly. He had done these things many times before and merely needed to keep it up. Just a little slip and she would know. He had answers to most of her questions that he could say off the top of his head but some would require more thought. "I was told that the surveillance cameras were out. One of my tasks was to get them back online.

The child blinked back at him. Any bit of suspicion she might have had vanished from her face. That was the younger Octopus man. The one that could tear the entire room apart just by thinking that he wanted to do it. Let alone creating his arms and making them tear stuff apart. If this guy had the Octopus man's card, then he must have given it to him. He was too hard to fight off or just take a card from. "Oh. You really got turned around then." she replied. Completely unaware that there was a "situation" still. "It's down that way." she continued, pointing behind Edmond. Quite unfortunately in the direction where most of the commotion and guards were stationed at this point. "It's not the North entrance exactly, but it's where all the security stuff has been broken. The tunnel system just to the right of the North Enterance."

"I wasn't told to fix anything broken. I was just told to put online the cameras that are offline. If the camera is cracked I can't exactly do anything. I think he said north entrance.... Octavious is quiet scary when he is angry and I really just wanted to get out of the room. Which entrance had the cameras that were still offline?" Edmond asked. He couldn't go back the way he had come in. Too many people knew who he was in that direction. Se he hoped that by altering the story, in a way that he believed the girl would relate, would not give him away entirely. The best part about being a vigilante was the con. The everlasting ability to lie and create a false life right off the top of your head. That was what he was relying on now.

The girl smiled slightly up at him. "They both are pretty scary when they're angry. I don't blame you there." she replied. Then she took a contemplative glance down the hallway behind him. "Well... the entrances by the North side are all working except for the ones that got broken. So are the ones to the East. We made sure the ones going to Gotham and New York were up and running before the other ones." she replied. "I think the only ones still not up are the ones just next to the east entrance and the west entrance. They're all close to the North entrance anyway. South is mostly up now. Had to have something working on both ends for security and all. Harder for someone to just slip out that way."

"And Octavious seems to talk a lot. One day he is going to give away all of our secrets because he thinks he has won." the Count said slightly continuing the sidebar conversation. "Well anyways I have to get back to work so would you kindly direct my to the east or west entrance?" The Count requested hoping that the real guards would not catch up. He knew both the Rosie's had similar powers and that he would not be able to defeat this one if things turned sour.

"Sure thing." the child replied. She turned around and headed back towards the large secured door that she had just entered through. "I just have to walk around to make sure my powers and everything is working okay. So I have to walk around anyway." she said. "I can show you to the east entrance. It's closer. Just have to go through here, take the second hall to the left, go all the way down that one, then pass through the the laboratory at the end of that hall. Then just go straight.

The Count nodded to Rosie "Alright thank you." He could have made a move then but he felt wrong sneak attacking a child. He then set about following Rosie as she lead him. He did not feel as if he was in the clear. Edmond had no way of knowing if the other two Rosies had made it out of the lab but he had given them a lot of money so if they didn't he would be quite upset with them. He could have made small talk to find out more but chose not to. He would let the police handle this if he thought it was needed. Alone he was powerless to stop whatever was going on here and like it or not, for now he was on his own.

And unfortunately Edmond wasn't out of the clear just yet. Once the two had made it through the large secured doors to venture further down the halls, the familiar sound of claws scraping over metal echoed from behind as the doors shut. The guards were venturing farther through the complex as well. Each time they passed through a door, the one that had been behind them opened with the sound of scraping and shuffling. The only real bright side to this was that the creatures seemed more focused on checking out each and every room they came to instead of continuing on. Then the lights died for a moment. A generator kicked on, and the hallways flooded with a dim light thanks to the reserved power. A red light over each of the secured doors began flashing red. The little girl tensed up and looked anxiously down the halls. "Uh oh..."

Edmond looked around when the lights shut off and calmed slightly when a dim light took place of the darkness. "This is bad..." The Count said bluntly. He did not ask what is wrong because it would set his cover on shaky ground. If he was there working security he would know what the lights meant. So he pretended he knew that it was a bad sign because in most cases it was, however he found a small loophole and used that to find out what was going on. So he asked "What do you think it is this time?"

Rosie looked up at him nervously. "Well...they did catch someone that found his way down here earlier. Unless he got out, he might have had someone with him. Someone just got into the main security room that wasn't supposed to be." she said, then looked around at the doors. "This place is going to be on full lock down in a few minutes..."

"Well I can guarantee it was not him who breached the security room. He doesn't sound all that smart. We should hurry if this place is going to go under lock down. I have cameras to fix and I can't do that if I can't get to the exit." Edmond lied realizing now he had very little time.

The child nodded. "The passes will only work for another minute or two. We should probably take the escape tunnel." she said. Her voice was nervous, and when she turned to lead him down the hall, she made sure to grab his hand. It was impossible to tell what sort of powers she had compared to the other Rosies the Count had met, but she certainly didn't seem very brave. He may not have much of a problem with her at all. Once they were farther down the hall, the child stopped and turned to a blank wall next to her. She patted at it for a minute, then finally found a small notch in the wall. She pulled at it, and a small compartment slid out. Inside was the same sort of cube Edmond had found with the illusion. When it was pulled out of the wall, an illusion was uncast on the wall next to the child. What was a metal wall turned into a small closet. One with a trap door.
