cave_dweller_candy Tasn Zheng Miss Amelia Pond Ohmai. Well last night was Silver Taps, and now I'm finally done with my classes until I go to Army stuff later today (running around the woods with a compass, map, protractor, and rifle, hooah!), and... the thread has grown by fifteen pages. e.e So uh... did anything of interest to the case happen recently? we suspect we know who the second victim is Mr. Coffin? Epic-Writer42? I wasn't being THAT sure, but okay. Let's figure out motives before it happens. And then if it doesn't happen, we'll have wasted time, logic and neurological space. sad . Let's not, then. Sorry, I just realised how sarcastic that might sound when one reads it.... No sarcasm intended

We really can't figure out motives before it happens on so few clues, given that we're still not entirely certain what the motives for killing LMF were, nonspecific pronouns and all. Speculating about the next victim doesn't really hurt anything, and the most productive thing you can do is throw as many ideas out there as you possibly can. It ensures that the right one isn't accidentally passed over.
I don't know if you've ever seen a tactics meeting, or a mock-up of one, or one in a movie or something, but they tend to involve a lot of people with a lot of ideas, and the best of those are used.
And yes, all I know is science and the military, so all my experience draws from those two areas. Go figure.
