Zed stopped and helped Koko up.
"Good job finding that cable, now we can follow it back to the power source or something like that..."
He started to follow the cable.

Koko folded her arms across her chest & frowned.
Yeah, thanks for nearly smashing your face, oh are you ok? Did you damage anything when you fell? Pfft...
She followed Zed nonetheless, though kept her arms crossed as she walked. The cable led though some areas that may have been maintenance shafts when the structure had been functional.

Zed followed the cable as it snaked through the maintainance shafts.
"The scan is taking a while... The scanner probably needs to recharge... you didn't hurt yourself tripping over that cable did you?"

Thane screamed and jumped as Syuzanna touched him. He hadn't heard the young man come up behind him and was caught off guard. After he had calmed down a bit. He smiled slightly "Ah i'm sorry....I-I was curious....."

Syuzanna brought his hand away to hold the sub-machine gun properly, Keeping it raised at eye level. "You'll have to stay alert as well, I can only use my right hand so no accuracy from the dominant one." He Gritted his teeth, "Gonna move on or what?"

Koko shrugged slightly as she followed, stepping over secondary cables in the shaft.
"I think I might have opened up a few of the wounds on my arm, but it doesn't matter I guess...."
She frowned as she had to step over yet another cable.
"Freakin' hell! Didn't these guys know how to look after their equipment?!"

Zed reached another metal wall.
"Ah...there another door nearby?"

Koko stopped & looked around for a moment, seeing if she could spot anything in the murky darkness. She reached out & trailed her fingers along the wall to see if she could find another passageway. Slightly behind & to the left of where Zed had stopped, she managed to find another door & prized it open.
"Hey, I think I found somewhere!"
She took a few steps through the door & the floor promptly crumbled beneath her feet, causing her to fall into the hollow space found between floors. She landed heavily, sprawled out on a fragile-looking area with debris falling onto her from the floor above.

Zed jumped down, landing neatly beside Koko on a slightly more stable patch of floor, before -without even looking- he flung his arm out in a flash, catching a falling metal pipe only centimeters above Koko's head.
He threw the pipe away then offered his hand to help Koko up.

Koko groaned slightly, her already injured arms bleeding again. She moved her head stiffly, finding that her whole body was aching - though her right leg especially. She looked behind her, trying to shift her leg then found there was a pressure on it.
"Ah s**t...."
The floor below her began to creak & she looked up at Zed from where she lay.
"I think there's something trappin' my leg Zed.... & the floor isn't gunna support the both of us."

Zed looked at Koko's leg, it was trapped under a rusted panel.
"I'll get that off ya..."
He tip-toed over to the panel and started to lift it.

The floor began to creak & groan more loudly under Zed's added weight. Koko's eyes flicked around wildly between the pilot & the area around them, hoping it wouldn't give out anytime soon. Multiple times she cursed her own stupidity at not testing the floor before stepping out onto it, while also cursing at Zed's idioacy by trying to help her. As soon as she had enough space to get free she pulled back her trapped leg, then used it too kick the pilot - hard - in order to push him clear of the weakened area. She then stayed as still as possible as the rusted panel crashed into the floor again, causing a small amount of crumbling. Ever so slowly, she swung her legs round behind her & began to crawl along towards Zed, spreading her weight to try & avoid a collapse.

Zed had curled up into a ball and hugged his knees as he rocked slightly.
"That really, reallly hurt."
After a breif moment, he gathered himself and attempted to spread his weight more evenly.

Koko frowned as she looked at Zed, anger lacing her voice as she tried to make her way along.
"I don't believe you! You curl up into a freakin' ball & complain that it hurts?! All 'cause I kicked ya outta the freakin' way of a bloody deathtrap?! Bloody hell!"
After a while she managed to reach a section that she reckoned would support her weight before standing up. She had her back to Zed & walked a few steps away, testing the sections infront of her before going further.
"You are not worth it! You know that?! Why did I even bother with you?! You'd better find a new.... whatever I am to you."

Zed stood up and walked over to a nearby wall then pulled a lever that turned some of the lights on and started a humming sound coming from somewhere nearby.
