FireStorm heard Dawnpaw. "Oh, i'm sorry did i scare you?" FireStorm looked at the apprentice and spoke softly. "I guess. it is kind of silly." He said. "I should ask them to meet me at the border or something." FireStorm sighed.

FireStorm nodded. He licked IceStorm's ear before leaving. IceStorm licked his ear as well. FireStorm padded out of camp and reached the NightClane border.

IceStorm nodded and watched FireStorm leave. *StarClan go with you, my love.* She thought to herself. She turned back to thunderpaw waiting for an answer. In the moonlight her pelt looked like a storm of pure ice. in the day it looked like a gray cloud before a thunderstorm. Her eyes were a deep blue and in the moonlight they seemed to light up.

((Okay, no. Stop this.
You are not allowed to roleplay as someone else's character.
I understand that you trust each other, Moon and Grey, but that's ridiculous. If you can't come on, moon, then WAIT. If everyone roleplayed as someone else's character, things would be in chaos.
So please stop. I'm sorry, but it's not right. ))
Sighing, I said, "Well...I just...can't. I don't know. Every time I try, I wake up again."
[I flicked my ears as Firestorm howled at another cat somewhere, then padded off.]
"I wonder what Blackflame meant?" I meowed, speaking my thoughts aloud.

H a w k k i t“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________ Hawkkit awoke rather late in the day. He stirred in his nest, feeling too warm to really get up. The scents of the other kits and queens still lingered in the warm, thick air of the nursery, making his pelt bristle with comfort. He inhaled deeply, trying to savor the last moments of his drowsiness, only to get a clump of moss tickle his nose. He sneezed instantly, and with a grunt heaved himself to his paws. Shaking his pelt, he padded out of the nursery and to the fresh-kill pile. Hawkkit hesitantly picked a chaffinch from the pile and took it over to the edge of the camp. Alone, he lay there, tearing the feathers off of the little bird before really beginning to eat. Perhaps I should visit Moonpaw later today? He froze at the thought, then shook his head and continued eating. I shouldn't be thinking about these trivial things! I’m going to be apprenticized soon! Hawkkit continued to eat the bird in small, dainty bites, as if he were too busy concentrating on something else to actually eat. But it would be logical for him to ask like this; he was the oldest kit in the nursery. Starclan knew he was taller than some of the other apprentices! The problem was that Silverstar didn’t think that any of her warriors would be able to mentor him—at least, that’s what Hawkkit could make of it. Angrily ripping a slab of flesh from the little bird he ate, Hawkkit knew that his postponed apprenticization had something to do with his heritage as well. His mother was a smug, haughty rogue who abandoned him in Stormclan when he was barely two moons old. Ever since then, the cats of Stormclan would hiss insults and give him ominous glares. It wasn’t his fault his mother was such a piece of fox dung! Hawkkit finished the last bit of his meal quickly. He felt his hackles rising at the thought of his arrogant mother. Sighing, he padded back into the nursery and curled up in his nest. The queens were kind enough to make him a separate nest as he grew older. Placing his fluffy tail over his nose, Hawkkit let himself succumb to the temptations of sleep.

[I sighed. I longed to train with Silverstar, but she was busy. Perhaps having a leader as a mentor wasn't as fun as I'd thought it'd be...
I let my eyes trail around camp, and they settled on Hawkkit.
Hawkkit...poor tom. He'd had a stained history as well, although his story didn't end as somewhat happily as mine had. He was being ignored by the Clan...
Well I'd had enough. I hadn't really noticed him before, but if any cat was to acknowledge his existence, I'd be the one to be willing to do it.
I padded up to his nest in the nursery. Dismayed, I realized he was sleeping. Unsure of what to do, I shifted on my paws.
I suddenly realized that it had been a while since I'd been in the nursery. I felt a pang of remembrance.
I curled up in a corner close to Hawkkit. I wouldn't take someone's nest.
I sat there quietly, thinking about many things.]

H a w k k i t“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________ Despite being in a borderline-sleep state, Hawkkit could scent someone new in the nursery. He yawned, drawing a paw over his face before opening his eyes. Once his vision adjusted to the gloom, he swung his fluffy head around to see who'd come in. Hawkkit was surprised to see a black shape curled up near him. The scent told him it was a she-cat. Well, she wasn't a kit, nor a warrior, as he could tell from her size. Hawkkit suddenly realized that it was Thunderpaw! The apprentice was close to being a warrior, if he remembered correctly, and was famous for her stunning eyes and persona. Letting out a purr of confusion, Hawkkit tentatively prodded Thunderpaw's flank with his paw. “Hey, what're you doing here, Thunderpaw? Shouldn't you be with Silverstar?” Hawkkit felt a pang of envy for Thunderpaw. At least she had a mentor to train with! Already big enough to be a half-trained apprentice, Hawkkit had begun to wrestle with some of the kits, if the queens would trust him to, just to get an edge on his fighting techniques. He of all cats wanted to prove to whatever mentor he received that he would be a great warrior for Stormclan.

IceStorm watched Thunderpaw padd into the nursery. curious, IceStorm took a peek. it was Hawkkit. *I wonder if i might be able to mentor him. He has an awful past but i think i might be able to help him.* she thought. She watched as thunderpaw lat down near him. She smiled.
