"well..." SweetMoon began. "I never got to thank you for saving Softkit. You shouldnt feel bad about what you have done." She told the apprentice. "Whats done is done. Dont let life hold you back, move forward. Each day you live you are able to start over." She said. She gave the apprentice a comforting lick. She knew he felt bad about killing SmokeFoot from before.

 "To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Emberpaw_____________________________[At the mention of Smokefoot, Emberpaw's stomach dropped. He felt the horror of what he'd done creep back, but he held it back. He understood the queen was trying to comfort him.]
He nodded, and mumbled a quiet "Thank you."
[He wasn't good with words, so he didn't know what else to say. He licked her back awkwardly, but felt happy that someone cared for him.]

SweetMoon nodded at his lick. "Its ok to be afraid sometimes. Yet in order to defeat your fears you must face them. Face them and see them truly, with out hate and without fear." She told the apprentice. She knew he was feeling bad about what he had done but she wanted him to know that she was there for him. He had saved her kit and her, something she could probably never repay.

"Dont worry about it." SweetMoon said. "It is not nessasary to kill a cat in order to win a battle." She said. "You dont have to attack or kill, just defend and you will be alright." She said.

"do not worry. im sure the other clans are not that stupid." SweetMoon said. She looked to the skies. "this is a time when the clans should come together to face one enemy." She looked at Emberpaw. "You know what they say, United we stand, Divided we fall." She said.

"I do?" SweetMoon thought about it for a moment. "I just say whatever is on my mind and the truth." SweetMoon said. "You dont have to know what to say, just say whatever is on your mind. Sometimes you just need to let go, and let the people you love and trust know how you feel. that way they can help you and understand you." SweetMoon said.

SweetMoon lookes at Emberpaw for a moment. "Well, that may be so but it is not right to keep it bottled up inside. When your emotions get caged like that, then you cant think straight and clear your head." She said.

SOFTKIT
Oakkit whirred around at the sound of the other kits playing.
"Oh! Softkit! let's go play, too!" She butted his side with her head affectionately, drawing a gasp from his lungs.
Softkit hissed in response,"why don't you go play and be a kit? I'm still recovering from being close-to-dying. Show some consideration, mouse brain!"
Oakkit sincerely apologized, feeling sorry for causing her brother pain. But it was more than just her playful actions that hurt him.
He'd missed a lot when he was battling against the shock of being attacked by a cat that was supposed to be protecting him. He honestly didn't even remember much about it, or anything from afterward. He was dizzy and weak, even for him, and his frustration was mounting by the moment. And then there was Oakkit, his careless, thoughtless sister, the one cat he couldn't live without.
She had stood up for herself to him for perhaps the first time.
She had hurt him, deeply wounded his pride in asking mother to talk to Emberpaw, Willowstar, and Galespirit. She had hurt him by living her own life, apart from him, or even thinking about doing such.
No, that was too cut and dry, too selfish.
But it didn't change the fact that she had hurt him, that she had changed, and that he was incapable of doing anything about it. He was weak. And there was no way for him to become stronger without his sister there to carry him with her boundless energy. But was it really fair of him to hold down Oakkit like that?
OAKKIT
"Alright, then.." she murrmurred, bowing her head in apology to her brother. "rest and get better, 'kay? Breezeclan is boring without my brother."
She paused for a moment, as if waiting for him to say something. Silence was the only sound to great her, so she put it behind her and bounded off towards Joykit and Stormkit. While she never would be able to completely wipe her worry for Softkit from her mind, there WERE other things she wanted to do. He was a part of her, but not ALL of her.
"Hey!" she growled, crouching low and whipping her tail. "What'cha guys playin'?"
