[ Kyle : Training Room ]
"I know... I know all that, about the Kingdom Hearts... stuff," he muttered, shaking his head as he tried to steel himself again. He never looked up from the ground, refusing to make eye contact. This was the lowest he'd been in front of these... these strangers. He'd known them for, what, 3 days? Four? And here he was, breaking down in front of them-
No. No, they're not strangers.
They're me.
His breathing began to slow somewhat, trying to rationalize, calm himself down. "It's... it's just, I was right there, watching. I'd driven... geez, must have driven 20 miles in 10 minutes. Didn't know my car could go 120," he explained, finally reaching a more stable breathing rhythm. "I got into the house, but not... not fast enough. He was surrounded, and even when our dog gave him the chance to run... idiot. Kid was a total moron. Dove in... just like me."
"He would have loved it here, even with all the danger," Kyle muttered, chuckling somewhat as he leaned and fell onto his back, staring up at the ceiling through his bangs. "Hard-headed little punk. If he'd've just listened... he never listened."
"Sorry. Just... I remember you and Rachel were always so close, like brother and sister," he continued, his nostalgic smile fading as he began to explain himself. "And it just brought it all back to the surface. Guess that's what happens when you try to bury things. And here I am, whining about something that happens 5 days ago, when we got something that just happened... talk about insensitive."

[Joseph: Training Room]
Joseph listened to Kyle, and at the end, let out a whoosh of air. He didn't say the wrong thing, at least. But now, he had some more to work with. Some more to help him help Kyle.
"Do you really think it's insensitive? I don't think it is. I...I haven't grieved my family yet. I don't know if I will. But that's cause I'm usually too busy thinking about how to fix everything. Idle hands, and what not."
Sitting down beside Kyle, Joe brought up his knees and hugged his legs, looking across the train car at the wall.
"There's a reason everyone does everything. You bottled it up, and now you have to let it out. No one can blame you for that. I certainly wouldn't. And if anyone does, I'll...I'll kick their a**." The fighter let out a small chuckle at that, before quieting. "Know why I would? Cause it's not your fault."
No...it's the fault of the replicas...and I'll make them pay for it.

[Kichi :: LoD :: THrone room]
Having barely managed to contort his body to avoid the fireballs that shot out from the armored guy's shattered shield, he had to fall weirdly and use gliding to roll back to his feet. He was about to Rush in when Seymour broke the barrier and it wasn't long before the amored man ran from the building. Kichi started to give chase...then gave up after about three steps. After staring at the doorway for a while, he gave up and walked over to Alan and Amy. "Well....that was interesting." He said, and sat down on the ground.

[Dawn : HT/BC : Dining Car]
Dawn's smile faded when Jenny smiled back awkwardly. It made her heart cry out to see such a smile on the girl's face.
"Things will be fine," Dawn said reaching out a hand to touch the girl's shoulder, "I know they will."
'Just got to have faith...' Dawn told herself.
After patting Jenny's shoulder a couple of times, the tessen wielder's hand fell to her side. Her mind wandering where James went. He seemed just as torn up as everyone else. She should of gone and spoke to him as well. Dawn just hoped that James wasn't doing anything stupid out of grief.... Though she knew it was highly unlikely that her friend would do anything rash. But after seeing him during that fight with the replicas and after Elleon took Rae's heart with Noelle chasing after her, she wasn't quite sure. Things had happened to him since Earth was destroyed. Dawn had no idea of what those events may of done to James.
Dawn let out a sigh as her mind reeled at what all could of happened to her friend, or to Jenny or the rest after the heartless destroyed her home.
"I can only imagine everything you have all gone through...." Dawn said looking away from Louis and Jenny.

{James : Train : Lounge Car -> Dining Car}
James sighed as he listened to Silver and Merlin talk, they both spoke only the truth and he knew it... If they had the heart that might have been a different story, but they did not. It was in the hands of the twisted replicas. He too couldn't stand staying there as they took her away, he had to find Jenny. He slowly stood up wincing slightly due to pain from the battle, he would be fine after some rest he was sure but now wasn't the time. He limped slightly with each step as he made his way toward the Dining Car.
'I hope that she is alone... this is awkward enough as is.'
'What's so awkward about it?
The lunar wolf within his mind and heart spoke to his caller.
'Considering I fell for such a stupid spell that almost got both Michelle and myself killed. I am nervous talking to her since then and I feel like she has more then less avoided me...'
Fenrir couldn't help but chuckle. To him this was all just ridiculous.
'You have the nerves to ask for Michelle's hand in marriage, but you don't have the nerves to ask for forgiveness and friendship?'
'Urusai!'
James mentally yelled back at his summon, it was the Japanese word for shut up, another one he sometimes used to him this wasn't so simple. The spell had not only made him lose his will to fight, but also caused Michelle to fall to darkness almost for good. his response just made Fenrir chuckle more before James basically tuned it out as he opened the door to find Jenny. However, Dawn and Louis were also there. He looked at the two of them before he focused his attention on Jenny.
"Umm... Jenny, Can I talk to you alone for a bit, please?"
As he said the word please he looked at Dawn and Louis, hoping that they would get the idea and would hopefully leave.
{Kuro Oni : The Flying Dutchman : Captain's Quarters}
Kuro Oni smiled malevolently as Ajora agreed to his plot, and glad that he understood the basic idea. Though Kuro Oni had much darker intentions in mind.
"Do you know anyway to have it so that no one can interfere with this? and I have a certain idea in mind... Do you know anyone who can help? Like with an illusion or something like that?"
The Dark Corsair had every intention of making one of James' worst nightmares a reality, he was looking forward to what would happen with this encounter and wanted them to get here sooner then when Ajora predicted but he would wait... and scheme depending upon Ajora's answer.

[[Louis : HT/BC : Train - Stable Car]]
Louis listened quietly as the two spoke, nodding lightly to each of them, he was distracted slightly by the loud boom from elsewhere on the train. When everything quieted down, he returned his attention to Jenny and Dawn, but he still couldn't help but worry about the noise. When James entered, Louis simply performed the same small nod in his direction, taking his leave, looking to Dawn expecting the same of her, and motioning for her to follow. Before he left, he looked to Jenny with a warm smile, "Remember, if you need anything... let me know." With that, he headed out of the dining car and into the sleeping car to explore the train a bit more. Finding of no real interest there, he continued on through to the stable car to check out what was there.

[Jenny :: BC/HT :: Dining Car]
She must have been doing something wrong, Dawn patted her shoulder again reassuringly as if mage's face had given something away. Jenny looked to the floor briefly before looking back to Dawn. "And you also went through a lot," Jenny responded, lost to a bamboo thicket while they were given shelter from Mickey.
The door opened at that point and Jenny's eyes flickered to see who had walked in. She felt her spine stiffen a little as James strode towards them. She turned her gaze back to the floor, suddenly admiring Louis' shoes. Everyone had thought it was her fault for the spell, for breaking up James and Michelle like some sneaky third wheel. Even after they all realized it was a spell. Her fists clenched, she felt bad enough as it was and she did and at the same time... awkward... guilty. She looked to Louis with a silent plea but could only nod as he spoke and walked out.
Jenny turned her eyes back to James and tried to smile. As long as he didn't try to pit the blame against her too. She felt like she could feel the tears at the edge of her eyes again. Would he notice if she froze time and bolted for it? Not that she had the mana to do so but it was just an idle thought.

[Dawn : Dining Car -> Stable Car]
Dawn's blue eyes closed her eyes hearing Jenny's voice. It painful. She had yet to speak to anyone about what had happened before landing in the Land of Dragons, not even James. Though it was eating her away inside, she was not about to burden anyone with the sadness of her own failure to protect three innocent children.
Dawn was about to say something, but blinked looking up at James when he came in asking to talk to Jenny, alone. What was going on? Dawn could only wonder what could be going on between the two of them. Whatever might of happened it was serious enough for James to speak in such a matter and Jenny to look even more miserable.
Instead of asking questions Dawn only nodded. She took a couple of steps after Louis before she stopped to look back at Jenny with a smile.
"I'll talk to you later," she said to both the time mage and James, giving a smile to the corsair as well before she went into the sleeping car.
She saw that Louis was heading towards the back of the train. Dawn was curious as to what was back there herself. She walked silently with him, hoping that he didn't mind if she tagged along. Dawn let herself go ahead and open the door to the next car, holding it open in case Louis came in as well, before she let it closed and actually saw what the car held.
"Awww!" Dawn practically squealed, "Are those what I think they are?!" the wind user ran up to the cages to get a closer look at the large birds, "Chocobos! They are so cute! This is so cool!"
Dawn was in her own world, never minding if Louis was there or not. She had no idea that there were any chocobos here or anywhere. This was just amazing. Something she'd never thought she'd see in her life.
As Dawn was standing staring at one of the large birds, another bird, in a cage her back was to, came behind her. He had a gradient of blue and white feathers. The ends of his wings and tail along with the top of his head and the section near his legs were blue while the rest went out to white. The chocobo strolled up behind Dawn. The bird blinked its black button eyes as it looked at Dawn's pony tail.
Then without so much of a warning the bird grabbed Dawn's hair with it's beak and pulled on it.
"Uh..." Dawn said trying to look back but the chocobo started to pull even harder on her hair, making Dawn's head shake backwards, making Dawn dizzy and completely disoriented. And panic, "AHH HELP ME!!!"

{James : Train : Dining Car}
James tried to smile at Jenny as well, glad that it seemed she was at least willing to listen to him and to talk alone. He was thankful that Louis and Dawn had both left but it didn't make this any easier. He had a strange feeling that she was as apprehensive about this as he was. He let out a long sigh before starting. He was already starting to feel hot in the face just thinking how to begin.
"We haven't really spoken... at all. Not since Narnia, not that I can blame you for not wanting to after what happened... but I am ready to move on from that event, and I hope you are too."
He paused again, mentally checking his wording and making sure that he wasn't saying anything foolish before he continued.
"Thank you... for helping me back when the Replicas appeared. You fixed my broken wrist, even had Siren get me out of danger, I would probably have ended up in a lot worse shape if you hadn't have done that."
Again he paused, why was this so difficult? He had asked for forgiveness before. But nothing had ever felt so awkward as what had happened with the two of them. Because that stupid spell he royally pissed off Mizu, to the point that she slugged him, royally confused everyone else, and lost Michelle to the darkness and they both nearly got killed by Luxord. He took a deep breath, focusing himself.
"Look... This is what I want. I want more allies then enemies but I also want more friends then allies. I want you to forgive me for what happened in Narnia and what happened during that spell and I would like to consider you a friend... If you want to be. If you still think I am nothing but a creep and don't want to ever talk to me again, then I would understand that too. It's up to you."

[Jenny :: BC/HT :: Dining Car]
Jenny fidgeted as Dawn walked out and looked up between the strands of her dark hair as if trying to discern James' expression. He didn't sound accusatory and something in her felt relieved of that. She linked her fingers together and then unlinked them before linking them again. She took in what he said, rolling the words over in her mind all the while mildly surprised by his thanks.
Back when the Replicas showed up she didn't really think anything about saving James or healing his wrist. It just seemed like the natural thing to do. She had forgotten completely about the spell, it was only when she thought about that she felt awkward. So maybe she shouldn't think about? The time mage also wanted to be friends, friends were nice to have and it was much easier being friends than trying to squeeze herself into the wall whenever he passed by.
So she smiled, albeit timidly and tugged at her arm warmer. "It wasn't your fault, what happened in Narnia... we were just victims of some silly game. I think... being friends would be nice."

{James : Train : Dining Car} {{Cue: One Last Time}} James could see how nervous Jenny was as he spoke, looking at him timidly through her hair somewhat, linking and unlinking her fingers, familiar signs of nervousness he had seen before. He definitely couldn't blame her for it. He was still nervous to as he waited for her to respond. Then she smiled, though timidly but it was better then not at all. The corsair couldn't help but return the smile as she gave her answer. "Great, I'm glad to hear it!" Knowing that he was forgiven and that they were friends now it seemed as though all of the apprehension was gone from the gunner now. 'It seems you were worried for nothing.'Fenrir chuckled in James' head again and the corsair couldn't help but chuckle as well. He had thought it was going to be a much bigger deal then it had been. 'Guess you were right this time.'

[[Louis : Train : Stable Car]]
Louis strolled along, looking at the birds, each one unique in its own way. He read of the name plates on stall door with interest. When he reached some without name plates, he was distracted by Dawn's squeal for help. Louis flew to her aid, popping the bird on the beak causing it to release and reel back, hanging its head up high out of his reach.
Then, in a split second, his countenance changed, where a moment before he held an aura of a stern, angry father, he switched to one of a soft, understanding friend. The bird relaxed and dropped its head, and he quickly stroked the side of its head softly, speaking in a hushed tone, "Good... that's a good boy... or girl..."
Louis finally returned his attention to Dawn after about 3 seconds of this, looking at her with a tiny smirk and chuckle, "Looks like he got you good, eh?"

[Dawn : Stable Car]
Dawn tumbled over when the chocobo released her, as her glasses falling down her nose. She was on her knees feeling rather dizzy and her head hurt from where the chocobo was pulling. It only added to the pain from the lump she already had.
"Ow... yeah I'd say he got me..." Dawn said to Louis holding her head, "I wonder what was that all about... Ow..."
Dawn slowly looked up at Louis and the chocobo that were standing above her.
The bird let out a loud 'Kweh' running away from the two of them towards the back of the cage. Dawn sighed as she looked back at Louis. As the chocobo and human met eyes, the blank name plate above the stall shimmered in a shape that resembled letters. When it stopped the plate read, Sky.

[[Louis : Train : Stable Car]]
He couldn't help but laugh more, lending her a hand to her feet, "I think he's just curious... and a little untrained. I've had experience working with animals like these since I was young. You can't ever let your guard down around them, or they'll take advantage of you." Louis reached his free hand around and stroked another one under the chin that came over to check out the commotion, "Don't be mad at him though. Anger gets you nowhere with animals. It's all about task and reward. He let go of your hair... so he was rewarded. He probably doesn't know any better otherwise... but now he knows when he isn't holding onto your hair, he's doing something right... make sense?"

[Dawn : Stable Car]
Dawn took Louis's offered hand and got to her feet. She listened as he spoke as to the handling of birds. Dawn pushed her glasses back onto her face as she watched him curiously. She could see where he was right. It was a lot like her own view on handling animals. She wasn't angry at the chocobo for grabbing her hair. More like startled and taken off guard.
"I understand fully," she said, "After all animals are people, too. So they should be treated with respect. Believe me, I am not mad. Just taken off guard. I didn't expect something to grab my hair and tug my head around. If there was ever any animal I ever got enraged at was my dad's parakeet, Blue Boy. I'll tell you that bird would often fly past my face and hair just so I'd have to duck to keep from being hit. That was fun for him."
Dawn smiled at the memory of that bird. Sure Blue Boy may of annoyed the crap out of her, but she loved him anyway. She slowly reached out to touch the beak of the one that Louis was petting. Halfway, she paused. It was out of her own respect for the animal. If it wanted her to pet it she'd pet it. But if the chocobo didn't want her to, she wouldn't.
