Ai Leen It's only been two or three posts. Give him five before we start asking him to drown xd me or monolith? sweatdrop If you want me to go into more detail sure, i truely prefer things to just un fold but yeah, Ive had it far to often were people start useing stuff from my profiles in character that should not be known as every day knowledge, or they pull out of there rear end that they sudely know the exact 250 digit combo to my lunch box or something like that includeing you must sing the opening theme song to dirty pair flash season 1 while inputting it in for it to unlock....

I think so too...Geography was one of my best subjects in high school. I used to know all the state abbreviations and capitals. Not so much anymore. sweatdrop

Monolith wink And yeah I've had that happen to me before too. You just have to call them on that. Nobody in here will do it, and when we get The Watch going, the AMP as a ruleset makes it illegal to do that.

Plus, and I can say this from tonnes of GMing experience... the more people know about your character, the more they can craft events and plots that support your character, and would be interesting for you. wink

That's the dramatic upside to people knowing about your character. 3nodding I love it when my players have a detailed background, because then as a GM I can make life interesting for them wink ...in a cool way wink

like my elf cleric with a double E bust that worships the godess freya and is rather tomboyish, and likes bolth genders and is known to punch or slap people if she gets mad? and drop kicked a guy in the jewels who captured her once even thought another party member had rescued her and tied the guy to a chair and gaged him and had alredy nocked him out.

half the time my D&D shadowrun characters don't have bunch for a background because we try to make them as quickly as posible, we usualy give the GM details about or character, espeshily if its a new campaine setting and we ahve no idea how the gm's world works or were our character will live.

That character actually disturbs me, but to each their own gonk ...have you even thought about how hard it would be to walk or see your own feet with double E's? ^^; aaaanyways.
Those are examples of personality, yes. Try being the character though, and see what happens. Why does she worship Freya? What about Freya's teachings, mythos, or experiences intrigues her? What does she think about the story of the four dwarves and the necklace (Brisingamen)? Is her viciousness a result of bloodlust? A deepseated need to enact revenge? Is it some front of machismo...the need to show the 'guys' that she could be every bit as tough as them, and more?

actualy she did that to the guy because she found out he had been fondling her while she was unconsiouse. she swings bolth ways so she isn't one way or the other to a gender, and she isn't a pain loveing wierdo. the double Es are more of the comedy part. she worships freya because of per personality and because clerics of freya are not like nuns or soemthing, they are lovers and fighters. freya also has the magic domain which gives my cleric the ability to use magic items such as wands and crystal balls.
and yes i can get into the characters mind and play it well. now if its a thief however i have trouble. I always try to play the good guy when i play thiefs.
