Questionable Seeker

"Well Farskon, I don't know Vaswedes that well. So far it seems he likes to hide behind his minions. I would start by tracking his puppets and seeing where they go. They might lead us to him." Remus suggested.

"All that work for him are like timebombs," The Paladin replied tensely."They can be disposed, and killed at any moment by him."
[[Ah Emma's gone, let's leave it at here tonight.]]

[just going to post this so it makes a little more sense when Scribbler magically catches up with you guys later X3;]

It had been a good amount of time sitting inside the camouflaged ship; the paene hadn't detected anyone around at all, save for a few little animals and birds. Not a soul or darkling darkened the ship with their shadow.

Scribbler was getting worried about the others, wondering if they were doing alright. Before she realized it, her hands and feet moved, cloaking her in a vampiric disguise and walking her towards the last direction the others went in. Another layer of confusing ink-illusion obscured the ship when her own shadow struck it.

"Servist..."

Hopefully the portals were still working.

Scribbler found the service portal not long after it read: Portal Arrival in 2 minutes!

There was no one else at the stop, and some Darklings where talking to a few police officers about the incident near the service portal.

[[For Nazzy nana to catch up :3 ]]

Emma looked around through the fog, pointed ears perked up to catch the slightest sound, eyes taking in everything they could.

The vampire disguise reminded Scribbler all too acutely of the week before...it was all too familiar.
She blended right in and shuffled into the portal with the other darklings, acting like it was a routine trip to the foggy city.

The portal's arrival was jarring. Now the question was how to find the others. Her heels clicked as she made her way through the portal station, throwing out her senses in search of enchantress, imperator, and paladin.

Not too far away...but they looked different, somehow. She was a little hesitant to approach.

Something tickled the very edge of Emma's senses: a familiar aura. She reached out towards it, sending a brief image of where they were.

Scribbler!

"Emma, can you track Vaswede's Aura?" The Paladin asked, ponderously."If not we go for plan B."

Farskon was nearly invisible under his Incola Noctis disguise, he blinked, and his white glowing irises the only visible thing on him.

"Yo Emma, you there?" Farskon asked.

Emma! Am I glad to hear you...

The false vampire quickened her pace to where the others were, letting out a low whistle as she finally found them. The disguises were excellent, but the voices were at least still similar. Out of paranoia, Scribbler kept her own voice low.

"Good to see you guys...what'd I miss?"

Emma nodded quickly. "If I have something he's touched, I can track him across a galaxy. If not, it's a little bit harder."

She decided that some sort of disguise would probably be in order for her; an exertion of will caused her scaled skin to fade, turning a dark purple, and her hair shortened to hang around her shoulders.

"Good to see you Feathers, you look like a vampy," He grinned, and then turned to Emma.

"Oh alright, well lead us to him, I can't navigate anything here." Farskon grinned."But we gotta act natural, do what people usually do when they go to Servist: party!"

He walked over and nearly stumbled into another Incola Noctis.

"Watch it kid!" The Incola Noctis replied, and walked off muttering.

"It's working, then?" Scribbler grinned. It was like her old fangs were back. "Love the hair, Emma."
Party, hm? That would be interesting...Scribbler was always so awkward at parties.
"So, we need an object he touched..."

[the trail might lead right back to the portals, if I remember right...>w> /hasn't been comment-stalking, nope]

((Hehe, sorry Emalia. Just lead us through, any part of the city you like.
I'll set it up along the way.))

"Really? I've always preferred it long." she replied, half-jesting as she made another few modifications. Her ears elongated even more, her eyes turned a deep, cornflower blue, and her hair became tipped with silver.

She took a few breaths, extending her senses and seeking out a familiar, tainted aura. "This way." she indicated, leading them down an alley.
