Marina's in disguise. She's speaking with a gruff voice, wearing all black in a way to obscure her figure, and has a masculine haircut. I don't think Joshua should know that she's a girl unless he has spent an extensive amount of time with her, and even then he might not even know.
This isn't Ouran where he can do background research on her before even meeting her or something. He's not Kyouya-sempai. :O
