"You take care of Garaden, I'm sure you'd develop it. Heck, I'm sure I probably have it since I take care of all of you guys." He chuckled and frowned and looked at Roland. "We're going to have to go at an easy pace then whenever they decide to join them. The forest... I wonder what things come out at night...."
Atreyu turned his attention to the path where they had just walked and he stared, impatiently but a look of concern was beginning to cross his face. "What are they up to?"
Kai noticed the wolf, a female, rushing towards him and he frowned at her. He crouched down and readied himself to take the defensive but felt himself pushed out of the way. Kai stumbled on his paws and glanced back to see who had shoved him and his eyes widened when he realized it was Garaden.
"Garaden, get out of the way!" He cried

Roland nodded. "Yeah. We'll have to keep our senses on high alert." He said looking to where the others had disappeared to, "I don't know but they sure are taking their sweet time."
Rudolf watched in horror as Nephele charged Kai, then Garaden as he pushed Kai out of the way. "Nephele! Stop! Treasure take yours not!" He said rushing over. He didn't want anyone to fight over a misunderstanding.
Nephele changed directions when Garaden pushed Kai. She was still after the male who said they were going to take her treasure. She leaped at him ignoring Rudolf. "The treasure is mine!" She cried fangs bared.

Seeing the angry female change course, Garaden tried again, but this time leaping at her. He barely got her, latching to her tail and digging his paws into the ground. "Stop!" He yelled around the mouthful of fur.
Ivan looked back at Atreyu with a shrug. "Maybe." Frowning at where the others should have been, he barked at some muffled yelling, the trees and brush making it incoherent. "Did that sound like Rudolf to you guys?" He growled, heading for the sounds at just under a run.

"Yeah, it seems-" He paused when he heard Rudolf then Kai shout. He glanced at Ivan and then back down the path. "Let's go..."
His fur bristling and standing on end, he was on his paws and racing off towards their voices, ducking under trees and jumping over bushes.
Kai's fur bristled and he stood his ground, awaiting the female to attack him but he noticed that Garaden had reacted and took hold of her tail.
"Fine, fine, fine, the treasure is yours! Damn it, calm down already before someone gets hurt...." Kai sighed and flattened his ears against his head.
Why are females so crazy, Kai thought to himself as he eyed her warily.

Roland nodded and got up. He followed Ivan and Atreyu to where the others are. After a moment he reached where the others are and looked at the scene. Nephele was there trying to attack Kai with Garaden biting her tail. "What is going on?!" He asked.
Rudolf looked when the others appeared. "Sorry! Kai anger Nephele. Said his treasure her is." He said dancing around the others. He didn't know what to do.
Nephele stopped trying to get Kai when Garaden latched onto her tail. She turned on him and bit his ear. "Let go and leave!" She said starting to calm down. Kai's words had hit the trigger to get her to calm down and think clearly.

Garaden let go of her tail with a yelp. "That's what we were trying to do!" He snapped at her. "He's just mouthing off and you charge him, wha'd you expect me to do?!" He backed away to stand next to Kai. "Lets all calm down, and we'll be on our merry ways."
Ivan reached the group right after the tussle, finding an irritated female, a seemingly flustered Rudolf, and Kai and Garaden standing defensivly in front of the female. "What happened?" He asked. Padding closer slowly, he noticed Garaden's ear was bleeding. He sat heavily where he was, a low growl in his throat and clenching his jaw. 'Don't over react, don't over react, he's not hurt badly, don't over react-'

Atreyu slid to a halt near the three and a female and he stared at her from a moment.
"If this is the female you were talking about, she definitely doesn't look friendly." Atreyu took a step forward towards the group and frowned, listening to Rudolf's quick explanation. "Calm down everyone. No one is taking anything that belongs to someone else--" He glanced at Kai who nodded, though the pink male was starting to look very uneasy and guilty.
Kai sighed and flattened his ears against his head, embarassed completely, as the others appeared onto the scene. He looked at Nephele and twitched his tail.
"Yes...our merry way. Good idea Garaden..." He heard what Nephele said and he gave his tail a flick. "You don't have to tell me twice. We're leaving and I'm sorry," He paused, not used to apologizing. "About what I said..." He said, after noticing that Garaden's ear.

Roland shook his head. "That was the worst thing to say to her." He said looking at Nephele, "You should apologize to Garaden." He pointed to the black wolf.
Rudolf calmed down as Nephele did. "Okay. Calm I." He said. He nodded at what Roland said looking at Garaden's bleeding ear. "Ear bleed you Garaden." He said quietly.
Nephele had completely calmed down with Kai's apology. "Apology accepted." She said looking at Garaden's ear, "I'm sorry about your ear. I get a little crazy when it comes to my treasure." She looked rather embarrassed with herself. "So uh what are all of you doing all the way out here?" She asked. She was curious as to why there were others out here and so near to her home.

Garaden looked back as the others came into the area. "We're alright. Just a misunderstanding. No one was hur- Huh?" He looked at Rudolf and raised a paw to his ear. "Ohh... Blair's gonna kill me. Looks like I'll have to work hard to keep you extra safe Rudolf. The knights can't have both of us murdered by our mates." He smiled, but looking at the blood on his paw made him flush slightly. "Um, is your tail alright ma'am?"
Ivan sat where he was, simply watching the exchange going on. He looked up at the now dark sky and sighed.

Making note about Garaden's ear, he shook his head and, though trying to keep his face serious, a small smirk appeared on his maw.
"Murdered by mates? I'm sure I could try and protect you guys but I'm not making any guarantees. I don't like to mess with upset females." Atreyu said, recalling his experience with his friend Zoey. Atreyu looked to the female and gave her a friendly smirk.
"Oh, we were- well are- adventuring. Just passing through actually. We're knights Mi'lady." He said with a nod. "But would you know, by any chance if there is a cave nearby..."
Kai nodded to Nephele and then looked at Roland.
"Heh, it appears it was. I don't think I've seen someone react that quickly." He shivered and shook his head. He glanced towards Ivan, who seemed to be off in his own thoughts, and he shook his head at him before looking around th dark woods. "It's about time its getting dark. This has been one long day..."

Roland nodded. "Yes it was." He said with a sigh, "If anyone mentions taking her treasure she reacts faster than a vulture going for some road kill." He nodded at Nephele when she apologized.
Rudolf looked at Garaden shocked. "No oh!" He cried, "Can't that have. Kill me you not!" He looked at Atreyu and nodded. "Thanks." He hoped that if he did get hurt that Atreyu would keep Endless from killing him.
Nephele looked at Garaden. "It's fine." She said wrapping her tail around her leg, "Adventuring, huh? And you're knights." She shook her head at them thinking that they were silly and yet not. "A cave?" She asked her voice becoming guarded, "Yes there are several caves around here."

Garaden nodded to Nephele. He turned to Rudolf and smiled. "Like I said, I'll make sure she doesn't have a reason to kill you."
Shaking his head roughly, he pawed at his ear. It was starting to itch! And he couldn't even lick at it!
Ivan looked back to the group and stood, taking a few steps closer. "Yes, a specific cave. The land is made of red soil."

Naito was confused about what was going on. He wasn't sure if he wanted to jump in or stay put. However the scenes played out in front of him so it turned out ok.
(Sorry about not responding...I'm sort of having bad ideas of how to rp Naito since he's in a calm mellow mood at the moment.)

"Yes, we're knights and yes, we're searching for a specific one..." He nodded his thanks at Ivan for adding that. He turned back to Nephele, hearing the tone her voice was taking. He tilted his head head and gave her a smile. He couldn't afford to set her off by saying the wrong thing like Kai had said. "And it is important and we would be greatly indebted to you if you could tell us if we are heading in the correct direction of a cave with red soil."
Kai glanced at Roland and managed a smirk.
"It definitely seemed like that. If Garaden hadn't stopped her... she probably would have taken me out." He grimaced at the thought of getting his tail kicked by a female.

Roland nodded at Kai with a faint smile. "Knowing her she would have taken you out. You should thank Garaden for his quick reflexes." He said looking at Nephele, "You can tell us. We're not looking for your cave with the river in it." He knew this would convince her that they weren't after her treasure.
Rudolf smiled at Garaden. "Thanks." He said noticing that Garaden was pawing his ear, "Ear matter what's?" He then looked around at Nephele. He gave her a hopeful look.
Nephele narrowed her eyes at Atreyu. She had opened her mouth to say something when Roland mentioned her cave. Her eyes became wide and her mouth dropped in surprise. "You..... You know?!" She asked unable to believe that Roland knew about her cave, "Alright I'll show you the way to the cave you're searching for." She began walking towards the path but paused and turned to Atreyu. "You better make this worth my time." She said giving him a look that said she expected something in return.
