Studying the portal she shifted to her human form, standing from the bolder and onto the ice. with perfect court manners she placed her arm against her waist, bowing low as she asked in a feral voice. " My Lord, may i ask questions of you when we return home."

He nodded his head and approached the portal. "Yes, I am sure there will be much to talk about seeing as you've been away for so long." Giving the forest one last disgusted look, he stepped off the ice and down into the swirling waters

Away for so long.. Turning as well she studied the towering trees, outrage growing in her dark eyes. this was the humans' fault.. her imprisonment here. they had done something to make her travel here, she'd kill every one of them if ordered so. pushing a hand through her thick mane she steped into the portal as well, takeing only the reed flute she had brought with her so many years ago.

The rabbit sits there. Just nibbling on the grass. Not a care in the world. A soft padding sound startles it slightly, its head lifts and its nose twitches as it sniffs the air. It can't find anything. When it turns again it's too late, and a soft snarling sound breaks the quiet in the air, death heavy on the wind.
Nik stood above his prey panting for a moment, making sure it was really dead before holding it with one paw, already eating at it. He couldn't remember the last time he had actually eaten something, and the hunt had made him even hungrier as the adrenaline still flowed through his system. So far this was a good morning.

Moya sat up in a tree, watching the wolf eat the helpless rabbit. She honestly found it interesting to watch animals hunt smaller animals, even though she felt bad after the hunt. She had been watching this wolf for a while, liking his fur. She leaned over slightly to get a better look and a twig snapped, almost having her fall to the ground.

Nik heard the twig snap and looked up, about to growl when he saw the girl and instead shifting to his human form in the blink of an eye. 5'11", shoulder length dark hair and somewhat pale skin in black boots, black pants, and a black t-shirt he watched her with eyes so dark a blue that they were nearly a black color. He had never seen this girl before, but he didn't think about it as he stepped closer in case she did fall. "Are you ok?"

Moya almost screamed and quickly found her footing before taking off. Her clothes were little less the rags and in her white hair, which looked like dirt and grime, had twigs and dead leaves in. She was able to make it through a few trees before she thought she should get on the ground. She climbed down quickly and looked around, seeing if she had lost the strange man.

It took him two seconds to realize she was scared of him, three to realize she wasn't scared until he was human, two to shift back, and five to run after her quietly without her noticing. When she finally did stop he came out of the shadows, staring at her before shifting back again, this time staying a good ten feet away from her. "I'm not going to hurt you, I promise. You can trust me, and if you want, I'll go wolf again." He meant it, he didn't want to accidentally get her hurt.

Moya hid behind a tree and peeked one bright brown eye at him. "I trust the wolf more then you." She understood that they were the same person, but the wolf looked kinder and made her feel more at home. She was already tense, ready to bolt if he tried anything as it was. Men were not to be trusted.

Something had happened to this girl. If her behavior wasn't a big enough clue, his eyes caught the scars on her arms. Whatever had happened to her, it had been bad and left her untrusting. And by the way she said she trusted the wolf, he had a feeling it wasn't just because he looked like a goth. She didn't trust people. Nodding to her he shifted back to his wolf shape, walking over to her slowly and stopping a foot from her, nudging her hand with his nose. He was trying to show her that he was basically harmless, he had no reason to hurt her.

Moya slowly touched the wolf's fur, running her fingers through it. She gently pulled a few times to make sure it was real, not too hard to hurt, but hard enough to make sure. She gently got down on her knees and ran her fingers through his fur, finding comfort in it. "I have not seen something like you before." She looked into his eyes and then completely sat down on the ground, hugging her knees to her chest. "How is it that you can change?" She looked over her knees and kept very tense.

The tug on his fur was not a sensation he had felt recently, not since he was a pup and his mother or father had been scolding him while he was in his wolf shape. It actually made him smile, nudging her again when her fingers ran through his fur. She liked how it felt. Unfortunately if he was going to answer her he had to be human. He hadn't been around long enough to develop that skill. Moving back a few feet from her he shifted back, kneeling on one leg as his arm rested on the crouched one, trying to meet her eyes but noticing she avoided peoples' gazes. "I'm a Lugaru. It's in my blood." This was the most peculiar girl he had ever met. "What's your name?"

She looked down and shifted a little, but was still sitting on the ground. "Moya. What is yours?" Her eyes stayed on the ground, her eyes on her hand that was pulling at some small twigs and grass. "You scare me."

"Nikel. Nik." The nervousness in her motions settled it, and he sat back another foot, keeping one leg bent as the other straightened on the ground, resting one arm on his knee still. He felt bad that she couldn't trust him. "I'm not trying to scare you, trust me." Moving forward he shifted again, crawling on his belly over to her and setting his head in her lap. He would take what he could get from her. So if she only trusted his wolf form right now, that was ok. It was something.

Moya slowly put her hand on his head and started to run her hand through his fur again. "You can only talk when you are a man." She figured it out, but she didn't want him to change again so soon. He was warm and his fur was softer then some of the other creatures that she tried to help. "I'm sorry." After a while, she did a small yawn and turned so she was able to lay on her side, having his head still in his lap but her chest was against his side, liking the warmth.
