She closed her eyes. "He makes me angry. So angry I feel blinded sometimes." She opened them and blinked. "He thinks he can just waltz right back into my life at any time he pleases."

She froze with a chocolate chip cookie halfway in her mouth. "That's brutal....it's like they've switched to using real people as lab rats!" she exclaimed.

Scarlet shook her head and knocked it into the wall laughing that she missed the point entirely. It was suppose to be analogy. Pretty much stick her and her brother in the room and one of them would be dead or broken. She laughed again. "And humans are such more diverse and smarter creatures to test aren't they? Because those spiders that we cast spells on don't feel as much as a human does."
