Once upstairs and settled in bed, Lorey let all the tension from her day go. Richard was home, she kept telling her knotted muscles. Calm down.
"Well, I think the name Jeydon is really nice for a boy," she said as she tried to adjust herself comfortably. Her lower back was starting to ache. "But for a girl... Emily? Maybe? I'm having trouble with this whole naming thing."

"I like Emily..." He soothed as he crawled into bed next to her, placing a hand on her stomach, the other he gentlytouched her face.
"Jeyden is a good strong name... I love that too..." He muttered, trying not to pass out on her.
"Addison...Jeremy... No...Hm...Emily...Em....I like that..." He mulled it around in his head awhile. "Jeremy...no...that's my cousins name... he's an a**." He furrowed his brow, staring up at the ceiling as he moved his hands behind his head. "Jeyden..." He smiled a little, still working around various names, trying to find a good fit.

Lorey laughed. It always was good not to name your child after someone you didn't like. "Robin's a pretty name, too, for a girl..." she whispered. With her head leaning against his shoulder, she was fading fast, too. "Just promise me nothing strange like Stormy or... some kind of hippy name."

"I can do without the hippy names..." He laughed lightly as he closed his eyes. "Robin...Could be a boys too.. but I dislike 'Rob'." He sighed.
"Robin sounds like a stronger name fora girl... I dont know why that matters to me, but I think its important for your name to reflect you and your traits... we should wait and see what they're like when they come...the right name will immediately come to us when we first look at that little face..." Richard smiled, though didnt admit he was scared. He was terrified at the thought really, of becoming a father.
But he knew he was ready and knew he could do it with Lorey by his side...

"I hope they have your eyes," she said so softly as they both dozed off. "Soft and brown... and if they're a boy, your nose. Though I'm sure we made a good baby no matter what." Lorey smiled softly, and soon enough, fell right asleep. With the lull, she could feel the baby calming down, too. Their house, their family, their future... everything was alright.

Richard mumbled some protest under his breath about how lovely her eyes were as he too began to doze off. Damian was happy, Teagan and Nat were content, and he had his love and soon to be new child in his arms... everything seemingly right in the world.

The next day was Lorey's day off, and she was quite thankful for it. Her back was a little sore, and she was trying so hard to get good sleep for the baby. But the most important part about having the day off was her chance to see Raquel after all that time they had believed her to be dead...
Lorey looked over to Richard and kissed his nose. "Baby... new day. We going to find out if Raquel wants to see us?" The butterflies in her stomach were in a frenzy over the very idea of it all being real...

Richard stretched and made a soft little grunt as he attempted to wake up. "I think so. I want to see if Damian is still alive or if he had a heart attack soon after I left..." He chuckled lightly, turning to return her kiss, though also hunched up to kiss the baby good morning as well.

Lorey knew every time Richard kissed her stomach or held his hand over the baby that he would be a wonderful father. He was anxious and worried, she could tell, but once he had his baby in his arms, she believed everything would be alright.
"Maybe he did. Who knows? We should call first and make sure everything's alright. If it had been you and me... I wouldn't even know what to do with myself." Lorey sat up slowly in bed and winced at her back. It was starting to become sore with all the extra weight in her front, and mornings were a little tough.

Richard sat up and attempted to help her, giving her back a gentle rub. "Perhaps...lets wake up a bit, get some food in us...and we'll give them a call to see if they're up to guests..." He smiled a bit. "I'm actually very anxious myself. I was just so flustered and determined to bring her home i barely had time to take it in myself..." He admitted tho refuse mentally to think what life would be like without Lorey.

Lorey reached up to touch his face, then kissed his jaw line. They'd been together for a few years and things had only grown better. Of course there were tough times and a few frustrations, but they had both kept that strength gained after everything they'd been through. "Richard, I haven't even been awake fifteen minutes and already I'm thinking about how much I love you..." she said softly. "Bringing her home, painting the baby's room... giving me back rubs." Lorey laughed. Her whole face lit up when she was truly happy. "I love you."

He smiled distantly, studying her face intently. "And its not even been fifteen minutes and i'm already marveling at how beautiful you are...and how in the world i have you..." He lenaed over and returned her kiss.
"Though really...me finding her was pure luck. So I'm nothing special there...Everything else I do because I love you...." He explaied matter of factly as he smiled.

"But still! You could have walked away, thinking you were going crazy. You could have somehow stopped all this from happening, but you didn't." Lorey refused to just pass everything off as luck, or think that Richard didn't have a choice in the matter. He was wonderful to her, and a dream come true. Their house, the baby, everything was something she had once wished for so strongly that she cried. She wouldn't let herself forget that. "That's why you have me. Because you are Richard and nothing less."

He closed his eyes and smiled, resting his head against her a bit before giving her a quick peck. "I try to remind myself of that daily...I love you Lorey..." He said softly, nuzzling her neck a bit before gracing it with a kiss.
"Now...are you hungry?" He asked gingerly.

"I think both of us are..." Lorey patted her stomach with a smile. She had the inkling that they would have a boy. It was a thought that kept coming back, and she was sure that her intuition was right. "Do you love me enough to make me pancakes? And scrambled eggs? With milk to drink... chocolate milk." Her craving had been stranger. Once Richard went out at three in the morning just to find her chocolate-covered raisins and popcorn so she could have them together.
