xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora stared at Kairi blankly for a moment when she asked him why he seemed so triumphant. He smiled sheepishly as he quickly thought up a lie. He couldn't come up with anything so he just shrugged. "Oh, nothing," he started vaguely. "I don't think that group will bother us for a while." Before she could question him, he took her wrist in his hand and pulled her along. His stomach growled again and he realized how hungry he was. He followed Lakayna when a teacher rounded the corner. He recognized him as one of the assistant principals. He looked from him to Kairi, then told them to wait. The boy came to a halt, still gripping Kairi's wrist. He explained that Kairi's foster parents had called the school to say she needed to come home. The two exchanged looks for a moment. The brunette agreed to help the girl gather her things. They went to her locker and got her books. "I'll write down the homework for you, okay?" he told her as they finished getting her things. She handed him her lunch since she could get something to eat at home. He nodded gratefully and walked her to the entrance.
The bell suddenly rung and the Keyblade Master realized that he'd missed lunch while helping Kairi. He went to the office to get a note to be excused for his tardy. He shoved Kairi's lunch down his throat as he walked down the hall. He found his English class and walked in quietly. The teacher had already written all the definitions on the board and everyone else was reading silently. He handed the note to the teacher and looked around for a familiar face. He saw Riku passing notes with a silver-haired girl. His eyebrows creased in curiousity and he took a seat behind his best friend. He pulled out a notebook and scribbled down the definitions. He pulled out a book and put it up like he was reading it. However, he poked Riku in the back. His nose wrinkled up as he smelled something. "Dude, you smell awful!" he whispered. "Sorry I missed you at lunch..." His voice trailed off as he noticed how the silvernette was glaring at the girl next to him. He raised an eyebrow at him, glancing for a half-second at the girl to indicate he wanted to know what was going on. ((I had to do that stuff with Kairi because she said she wouldn't be on for a while. So... yeah, she's not at school right now.))GO TO SCHOOL!?!

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku turnrf and looked over his shoulder and Sora insulted him. Did he still stink from his last cigarette? "Well, you smell bad too," Riku retorted. The then Keyblader apologized for missing him at lunch. The silvernette shrugged it off. He had taken care of other things: bigger things. He glanced at Hikari and then back to Sora. "Now, what do you want?" he asked the brunette.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... The brunette's eyelids half-covered his eyes as Riku insulted him. He hadn't meant anything offensive by it. Riku usually didn't stink. Actually, the silvernette spent a long time in the morning with his cologne to impress the girls that were already all over him. The thought made Sora slightly annoyed. The older boy always used to rub that in his face. He forgot about that thought when he recognized the scent on his friend. It smelled like a fire somewhat. Like what he himself ever smelt like when some stupid Heartless scorched him with an attack. "You smell like smoke," he stated plainly. "Did you walk through fire or something?"
Sora then noticed his friend glaring at the girl again. He noticed the piece of paper they were passing between each other. He scanned it quickly, only picking up a couple of words. Sounded like a meeting after school. Who were they talking about, and what were they meeting about? When Riku asked him what he wanted, he gave him a skeptical look. "I thought that would be obvious," he muttered, crossing his arms. "First, you were really out of it today in Social Studies, now you're writing mysterious notes to a girl it looks like you hate. And you smell like you were on fire. I apparently want you to do some explaining." GO TO SCHOOL!?!

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” "Sora, shut up," he answered sharply as the brunette took another stab at the tobacco that lingered on him. The silvernette glared over his shoulder at the Kayblade Master and scoffed. "I don't need to explain anything to you." Riku turned away completely from his best friend. He'd explain later when Hikari wasn't sitting beside him and when he knew who she was and he'd try to keep smoking a little more secretive from now on.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora narrowed his eyes at his friend. Oh, he was not going to get out of this. Now he knew he was hiding something, especially about the scent. The brunette started to try to put pieces together. Perhaps the girl had some sort of special ability. He did sense something different about her, after all. Maybe they'd got into a fight and she'd set fire to him or something. And he'd used Cure to heal the burns but the smell lingered. That made sense. So why would they be sitting next to each other? And passing notes about meeting after school. The words "love-hate relationship" floated in his mind.
When Riku turned back around, Sora sighed. He rested his head on his hand, placing his elbow on the table. He had to get something out of him; at least a promise that he'd tell him later. His friend had to know how serious he took a promise. The teacher glanced in their direction and the brunette's eyes darted down to his opened book. He read a page and a half then remembered he was supposed to be getting info from Riku. He kicked the back of the silvernette's chair sharply to get his attention. "Something's up, and you're going to tell me," he hissed, keeping his eyes narrowed to show he was serious. "Well, either that or I'll find out myself. And if it's bad, I don't think you want that to happen." He smirked triumphantly, knowing that type of persuasion was usually rather successful with the teen. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku's whole body jerked forward as the brunette kicked his seat. He turned around, placing his arm on the back of the chair as the boy threatened him. Riku looked down then back at Sora with a flase look of hurt on his face. "Why do you think that Sora? Don't you trust me?" the silvernette whispered softly. he just wanted Sora off his back. he was being such a pest.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... "Now, do you want me to be honest, or do you want me to be nice?" Sora teased as Riku as if he trusted him. Of course he trusted his friend, and he trusted that he was hiding something. And he figured it was probably something to keep him and the others safe. But he should know by now that they did things together. Unless this thing with this girl was a "love-hate relationship". The brunette almost burst out laughing when that crossed his mind again. He didn't want to be involved with something like that, for sure!
"Of course I trust you, Riku," he finally continued. "But I know you have a habit of hiding things to make things easier on the rest of us. You know you don't have to do that. We're in this together, and we always will be. Remember that, okay?" His grin widened slightly and he shut his eyes happily for a moment before returning his expression back to the irritated one. He still wanted answers. This girl had been kind of quiet too, which made him curious. Was she just ignoring him, or was she listening in? Only time would tell. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku stared flattly at the brunette as he teased him. He just waited for the real response which eventually came. He thought those words sounded a little familiar. Oh, right. Naminé had said something like that to him earlier. He sighed. Sora was not letting this go. "Not here. You wanna know?" He nodded towards the door. "Walk out with me and I'll tell you," the silvernette offered. He'd do it, walk out in the middle of class, but he knew that Sora wouldn't. Or at least hoped he wouldn't. If Sora did agree he'd have to think up something to lie about and throw him off at least until after he met with hikari.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... The brunette bit his tongue as Riku made the offer. Oh, he knew he wouldn't just up and leave in the middle of class. Teachers hated him enough already. He had to think of a plan, and quick. He somewhat had the silvernette where he wanted him. If he could get him alone, he would tell. But how? The hallway... but he knew the teachers' policies. Students could only go out one at a time for a drink or the restroom. Wait... that gave him an idea...
Sora smiled smoothly and got up from his desk. He made sure the teacher was watching him and he put on a convicing "Oh crap" face. He trotted up to the teacher with a book in his hand. "I need to go give this to my friend," he explained hurridly. "The one who left earlier? She needs this book for what her parents called her home for. If I hurry, I think I can catch her before she leaves the grounds." The teacher heard the urgency in his voice and nodded quickly. He whispered his thanks and headed to the door. However, before he exited, he turned to make eye-contact with Riku. "Wait a second before coming out so the teacher won't catch on," he mouthed quickly and left the classroom. He turned out of sight from the door and curled up on the floor with the book, waiting for Riku. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku's eyes were slightly wide when Sora stood up. Was he really just going to walk out? No way! If he did, Riku would be thoroughly impressed with the Keyblader. The brunette then walked up to the teacher and the silvernette nearly burst out into laughter. He was asking for permission? Points. Dropped. Sora wouldn't do it. Riku looked at him and they looked eyes. He read Sora's and felt very insulted. He obviously didn't know how much class the silvernette had skipped before.
Riku stood up silently, glancing at Hikari before sneaking his way unnoticably out the door almost immediately after Sora. he closed the door silently and went to stand beside the sitting Sora with arms and legs across over himself. Riku glanced down at him and chuckled. "Ametuer." He looked away and tilted his head back against the wall and closed his eyes.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Hmph. Sora had thought his method was rather successful. It had worked, and he was a pretty good actor. He was foolishly proud of his little escape, but he figured Riku -- being the bad boy he was -- skipped a lot. The brunette stood up and closed the book he was holding. Too bad the teacher hadn't realized the book was the same he'd been "reading" in class. "At least I won't get in trouble if we get caught," he protested lamely. It was a bad excuse, but a true one.
Being as close as he was to his silver-haired friend, Sora was reminded of the scent on him. Again he wrinkled up his nose. That was definitely not the smoke smell he was used to. It had something else with it. What had that girl done to him? Well, he might as well ask. Waiting for Riku to begin was like watching paint dry. "So why did you and that girl fight?" he demanded, jumping to conclusions. It was the only theory that made sense in his mind. GO TO SCHOOL!?!

Jumped back over the fence and ran to the ivy growing out the wall. Immediately he started to climb it. Once blink was at the top he opened a near bye window. The window creacked a bit as the window opened. "Im glad i got that off my chest"blink said to himself walking round the corner of the wall only seing sora out of the corner at of his eye. he mumbled a quick "Hey Sora" and kept on walking in a rush towards the main office.

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku chuckled and turned to face Sora. "How about I talk because your theories are pointless, okay?" The silvernette smirked down at the shorter boy before leaning his shoulder on the wall bside him. The boy was silent so it seemed he had permission to continue speaking. Start with something that he knew the blonde could handle. "The only person i've fought with today has been Naminé. But that's private matters. She and I are dating. Surprised?"

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSoraxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxFinally back!!! I can rest up, hang with my friends and... Sora had been slightly distracted when Blink passed by in a hurry to get somewhere. He'd thought about calling out to him to stop him, but then decided against it. He wanted to know what was up with Riku, and this was going to be one of the only opportunities he was going to get. He was irritated by his friend's comment, but that was natural between the two boys. They always bickered like this. It kept the two of them on their toes.
However, no amount of being on one's toes would have braced Sora for what Riku said. The boy's eye twitched ever so slightly, but it was noticable. Of course he was surprised, but he wasn't going to let Riku know exactly how much. He was also a little concerned. He knew that his Nobody, Roxas, had strong feelings for Namine (possible repercussions of their Others?). That wouldn't screw up their relationship, would it? He hoped not. It seemed that Riku and Roxas were always getting at each others nerves too... He wondered why. "You and Namine are dating!?" he cried, probably a little too loudly. He clapped his hand over his mouth in mock shock, although he wasn't sure how much of it was a mockery. "Okay, now that you started with the good news, let's hear the bad news." GO TO SCHOOL!?!

“And I thought the Darkness was bad…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIt doesn’t even compare to this Hell.” Riku looked at Sora skeptically as his eyebrow twitched before the brunette shouted. Riku winced slightly from te pure shock and loudness. He rolled his eyes at the boy as he covered his mouth before speaking again. That was good new, now hit him with the bad. What should he make the bad? He couldn't tell him that he was meeting Hikari. Having a bigger audience is just what the two would needed. The only way to keep that news silent was to bring out another. Riku sighed. Why was he doing this? "That smell...it's smoke. Cigarette smoke," Riku said bluntly.
