Shaking her head she looks down at her tea cup, not asking for any more despite its emptiness. She finds this odd and is unable to discern how to act around him. If he was acting more as a master might then she would know where she stands but now? "Nothing, Akri."

She doesn't mention the fact that she actually didn't need her cup refilled. Normally she doesn't even drink that much. However to refuse something that is offered is rude and since its a kind gesture coming from her Akri, she would be very inconsiderate to turn down the offer. "No Akri, I just.... is.. I can't leave the lake, which means my service to you is limited."

As he would 'bop' her on the head, her one eye would close and her shoulders would rise. His compliment and blatant statement about heat cycles leave her face flaming with embarrassment. She nods in response to his question, still not lifting her head fully to look at him. "But... your guests Akri.... I don't wish to be in the way."

The marine girl would nod her head slowly. She knew he believed that but still... he cannot truly account for the feelings of others. There might be a time when she is considered 'in the way' by someone that he has invited over. However she decides then that, despite his reassurances, she will always quietly leave when there are others around.

Charis truly is a girl of conflicting thoughts and impulses. Although she usually avoids attention from all and any she seems to be genuinely upset when he says that hes going to go. However she simply nods and performs a back flip towards the center of the lake, into the deepest part of her new home. Within the darker safety of her element she feels safe and is more willing to release the pent up emotions that she has been both hiding and striving to understand.

Because of how sound moves through the water, her ears have grown to be much more sensitive than most other being's. Thats why when she resurfaces she is able to ear his singing all the way from in side the house. It doesn't take her long to catch its tune and she starts humming it softly. Charis carefully gathers a good handful of water, a short incantation later and its formed a very delicate orb which floats by her head. The only parts of her visible above the water being her shoulders, head and blue hair.

She blushes and glances down for a brief second but smiles back at him. Trying to ignore her uneasiness she looks back at the floating orb before her, seeming to become melancholy and wistful.
