Saro-Vingo ((Sorry for the wait. How old are you guys now?)) "Lieutenant Twombley. Update me on our current status." The Lieutenant was being hounded by COM chatter, alot of it directed at him. He didn't let himself get all flustered up though, he simply prioritized things based on rank, starting with the new message from the Major. 'Major, we're amidst resetting our defenses, the dead and wounded are being gathered for dustoff, and weapons and ammo are also being gathered up. We've lost one of our Scorpions, and about 30% of our fighting force sir. Reinforcements oughta help though-'Twombley switched his COM over to talk to Naval Command up in the Armengald'This is 1st Lieutenant Mathias Twombley, I hear you loud and clear. At the moment, sir, we are rebuilding our defenses of the butte and are gathering the dead and wounded along with any loose weapons and ammo. We could really use a dustoff for the dead and wounded though, there are beginning to be too many for the limited number of medics we have to handle-'He had more to say but he was waiting for a response out of command first and he just realized that Kristi was replying to Command as well.

The COM rumbled for a second.
s**t! Alright. Lieutenant, we're having a bit of trouble up here. It seems the effect of the Shiva's wore off. We're gonna have some hellfire up here. I'll try to see what I can do. Captain out.

Ry Ki Sgt Jenkins walked down the path. He despartly wanted to prove himself more worthy than his brother. He wanted to get int to some more action. He wanted vengence. He knew his brother wasn't the brightest or th best. Sgt Jenkins is smart enough to realise that getting down there charging face first gunsblasing isnt the best aproch. In act, he thought of it as the worst idea. What he wanted was to denine them ther prize. Flesh. He had heared the stories. About how they infect you and how the turn you into them. A walking plague. He wanted to destroy them.He wanted to see one of theese things face to ace before blowing them the hell up. He wanted to destroy theese things more than anything he had ever expereanced. He didn't want to risk any more lives. He didn't want to feed them by putting the men and women of the Corps into the front line. All he wanted is to have them wiped out. (((Edited!right so when you say butte I don't have a clue what you mean!))) (( What The ******** are you doing with my character BOY!! ))

aassaa123 Sergent Jenkins wait near the LT. standing at ease...ish he had one leg bent to realive the pain in it event though all his training and experience screamed at him not to. He walked over to Sgt Jenkins and said "I know your ambishes, but I want you to try and keep your limits in mind. We all want to do as much as we can, but further injury could cause a major problem. Not just for you but the entire group. If you were to get further injurys you would slow down your squad and cause problems for them, I'm not telling you to not to fight, by all means thats up to you, but understand the consuqences if you were to fumble.Just some advise, Not giveing you any orders" He noded to Jenkins and said "Your a fine marine son."

The Lieutenant sighed, not responding to the Captain's last message. He still had his back to Jenkins, as he had been listening to the Captain. He cleared his throat as he turned back around, getting straight to the point with Jenkins, "Sergeant, I'm going to have to post you at something to keep you off that leg, otherwise i'll have to send you up with the dust off, and im sure you dont want that, correct?" The Lieutenant asked Sergeant Jenkins, hinting of Jenkins being able to stay on the butte for awhile with a lesser assignment so his leg could heal.

The Lieutenant shook his head at Jenkins suggestion, "Denied. Sergeant, what if the covies caught onto where the gas trail is coming from on that beast of a rifle? You damn well can't run anywhere in a hurry, and we warthogs are something we have very few of...unfortunately.." Mathias looked about him, sighing. He was becoming tired of all the dead marines he has seen since his combat career started back when he was only green and fresh private, feeling like he couldve taken on the world then. Now was a different story. He had managed to survive through the brutal campaigns and made his way up through the rankings to a 1st Lieutenant, something he took pride in. Looking back up at Jenkins, who's eyes snapped back to him. Twombley spoke again to the Sergeant, "Sarge, The best i could give you right now is being a driver, like you had said, for one of the Recon units. You'd be driving a hog to various places below the Butte with two other marines. It would keep you off your leg and youd still be here. Sound good?" The Lieutenant waited for an answer. He couldnt have him as a sniper, all the snipers needed to be able to move quickly incase of an emergency.
