Sonia tilted her head for a moment before walking normally again. "The air has stopped moving again... He may have closed our exit...."Sonia stopped suddenly and looked to the left. "And apparently.... the tunnel branches off. It smells like the sewers through there.... I wonder if his base is connected by the entire grid of sewers in the city.... Be pretty easy to move around that way."

Dazeray took both of her hands down and let them drop. Her eyes were still wide with recognition and she felt her hands start to shake a little.
"My name is Dazeray, and I think I know you."
Kimo sat on his hunches and watched the two.

"Hmmm..." Diz looked at the girl closer to see if he recoginsed her at all then shrugged. "Who knows maybe you do but I don't recognise you." He looked at the cat for a moment and raised an eyebrow. Never seen a cat in here before, must be hers. He thought to himself as he brushed a hand through his hair then scratched his head while returning his gaze to Dazeray.

Dazeray sighed heavily.
Of course he wouldn't remember...it was years ago.
"Do you remember being sent to a clinic 7 years ago? A clinic where they...experimented on mutants or 'special' people?"
Kimo stood and silently lurched his car-sized body toward Dazeray. He sat by her and tried to read the man's expressions.

Diz thought on Dazeray's question for a few moments before replying. "Sorry but I don't have any idea what you're talking about." He lied. "Sorry but you've got the wrong guy." He continued and turned his head to look away from her. I may not remember all of it, but the parts I do remember I wish I didn't... Shaking his head quickly Diz removed the thoughts from his mind.

Dazeray sighed but pretended to ignore his answer.
"I was there while you were. They...they tested my DNA and found some stuff that they thought might be fun to test against your ability. For the next month I was gave a pill with a supposed 'antidote' for your power. They placed me in your room once they were sure that it was active in my bloodstream. You..." Dazeray paused, trying to phrase it right, "you were desperate to find a way out and you were quite aggresive. I remember you placing ur hand on my head, purposely trying to kill me. Then...then the test proved successful. I was unharmed. Of course, a few weeks later the place burned down and the so called 'antidote' went down with it. But before it did, they injected it into my body. Sort-of making a final test. I don't know if I'm still immune, but do you remember now?"

Diz grabbed both sides of his head as he tried to force the memories out of his mind. "I... Wasn't... There!" He growled through gritted teeth sill forcing the images from his mind and slowly releasing his head. He stood up and walked a few feet away. "Besides even if I was there, what makes you think I would remember trying to kill you anymore then anyone else?" Diz turned to look at Dazeray with that glint in his eye once more and a grin spreading across his face. Diz remembered her but he didn't want to admit it mainly because remembering Dazeray also meant remembering the torture the clinic put him through.

Dazeray sighed and stood up. She stretched out one of her wings and continued to stare at his face.
He is lying, Dazeray. You know how skilled I am at seeing that. Don't push him though, he is in pain and I think it might be from past memories.
Dazeray bit her lip and walked towards him.
"If you want, you can test it...to see if I'm still immune I mean."
Kimo growled protectively and beared his huge fangs.
"It is fine, Kimo. Don't worry."

Diz laughed slightly amused by the thought of someone actually willing to take the chance of being turned into a bomb. "You're serious, aren't you?" He questioned as he glared at the cat. "Fine! If you die here it isn't my fault!" He told her in an emotionless voice, he still had the murderous glint in his eye. Diz walked over to Dazeray and placed a hand on her forehead and closed his eyes for a few moments. After several seconds he opened his eyes and took a few steps back waiting for the impending explosion that should've followed. He waited for a few moments looking at Dazeray. "Looks like you're safe. normally you'd have been dead by now." He grumbled knowing that he hadn't even bothered to attempt to kill her.

"If that's the case.... we have to get out of here!" He exlaimed as a rumble was heard. He rushed back to the cave area from before, only to see the spikes were now pointing at them. "Ohh, he's good..."
Adeodatus laughed, seeing the three trapped in a death trap. "They can escape... I think I'll play with them, before the watter hit's them." He flipped a switch. A wall shot up behind them, but a spmall hole was there, and it was cracked.

"Does it bother you that your ability has no effect on me?" she said trying to supress the smile.

Diz shot Dazeray an angry look before replying. "No, that's not what bothers me..." He turned away from the girl his anger quickly passing. "Why are you here?" He queried still looking away from her attempting to change the subject. he moved his arms from his sides and crossed them over his chest.

Dazeray glanced at Kimo.
"My...familiar. He smelled your scent and he thought he had encountered it before. So, we came down to follow it. I'm part of the Crusaders of the Night. I'm leader of one of the teams. It is a group for people like me and you. We put our powers to good use by beating up idiots like cereal killers or rapists. You," Dazeray gestured to Diz, "I can tell that you aren't exactly 'good'."
Kimo growled at her, This doesn't bother you?
No, I feel oddly comfortable. I'm not afraid.

Sonia looked at the wall and growled. "He's anticipating every move we make... I can't smell any fresh air, and if I listen, I can hear something like water.... and it's getting closer...." Sonia looked at the side tunnel and sighed. "He's trying to flood us..... Come on... Let's try the side tunnel...." Sonia moved slowly into the tunnel, smiling to herself. I wonder if you know what I'll do next....?

"Aren't exactly good? Well that's the first time anyone has described evil like that to me, but you are quite correct I'm not exactly what you would call good." He replied turning his head slightly looking over his shoulder. "The cat seems like it doesn't want you near me. It seems to have the right idea about me." Diz continued in a light voice. Diz turned slghtly to get a better look at the cat giving it a slight smile. "Don't worry cat I won't hurt her you have my word, and don't play dumb I know you can understand me." He carried on still smiling and talking lightly before looking back to Dazeray. "So that's why you were watching me sleep and poking me in the cheek?"
