"I'll take first watch, I'm not tired at all," Kirra said as she stood up using her scythe to help her up.

"'Kay," said Alexa with a little catlike yawn. "Good thing, because I am." Crawling into the tent, she looked back over her shoulder and said impishly, "Wake me up when you want a break."

Leon followed after his wife hne smiled at his son a small tear glistened in his eye for there were two people besides his wife that meant the world to him and those were his kids and he would sacrifice everything for them.
Alex rest his head on naomi's shoulder and sighed and he closed his eyes "i'm tired"

Alex's head fell from her shoulder down onto her lap and he fell asleep snoring faintly

Gurrin went to the closet to get some towels for the men, then went around back to get the water going. "there you go, now you've only got about ten minutes of hot water, so be quick, the soap's on the shelf. And if you think running on ice and next to lava is hard, try doing it every day from age two to twelve." He chuckled at the men, and went to prepare another meal. Mellit followed, helping to cut the vegetable. They watched the clock carefully, to see if the men stayed in long enough to let the freezing water begin.

Vix's thoughts turned to Alexa even as she went out into the streets and began helping with the removal of the corpses and the mercy-killings of those Engela had driven mad. Where was her daughter now? Had Mathias found her yet?
Was she going to find her child alive, or like this? she wondered as she hauled up another body.

Leon walked over to his wife and gently put his hand on her back and smiled and said "she's fine she's a talented girl don't worry"

Vix sighed. "I know she is," she said quietly. "I just wish she would have told us that she was going. I'd feel better if I knew why she felt she had to sneak away."
Was it just that she hadn't trusted them to be able to let her go, or was it something more? Something... Vix's thoughts trailed off. She didn't want to think like that, not in the context of her daughter.

the 3 got out in time and decided to go to sleep early.
Rast had sat down to eat. "you should smile more Rast." said the man to his left. he was spinning this fork around his fingers and had a smile on his face. "and you souldn't play with your food Sor." Rast replied. "hey don't get tuchy. im just saying, if you always frown, your face might get stuck that way." Sor throw his food off his fork and into his mouth. "besides, you wouldn't want to give anything away now would you? everyone else has settled in nicely. even Kray so why cant you?" Rast just glared sideways at Sor. "shesh, what a mean look." Sor said as he got up and moved a smile still on his face. "he's right you know?" a voice came for the other side of Rast. "you to? Corrin?" "hey, i don't like it any better than you but Sor is right. you sould learn to smile. we have had a hard past and everyone has delt with it in their own way. you and i have both turned out like this but if you always have that look, people are bount to want the know what has made you this way. your past and the less they know, the better." Corrin got up as he finish eating and as he left he said. "you should ask Hyn's help. thats what i did." Hyn was sitting in a group of people. he had a kind face and he talked with other of the group. Rast eyed the group. "Zath, Hern, Verik, Dorn, Zarin, and Sain" he said to himelf. he sighed. the others we're right. he walked up to the group, "hey, Hyn, do you have a second?" "sure. what do you need?" Hyn asked in a kind voice. "i need your help to make this work. i know this is your specialty." Hyn's face turned confused. "stop playing. i know you know what i mean." a smile spread across Hyn's face but his face had darkened. his kind face that was there moments before was gone. "ok, ill come to you." he said and just as quickly, the darkness faded for his face. "come join up Rast!" he said his his nice voice. "ill pass." Rast said as he walked away.
