"Likewise Genesis," Blaze flatly stated. He quickly sidestepped the crimson blade, the edge cutting off the tips of his bangs. "Oh well, it'll grow back in about a week." He quickly flicked his wrist, the steel blade of the SOLDIER sword that was customary for 3rd and 2nd Class SOLDIERS flashing towards Genesis.

Bella watched Blaze's moves and compared him to Genesis'. "Not bad", muttered Bella. Mod started to laugh, but Bella kicked his sides, causing him to stop

Just as the blade was about to connect, Blaze stepped around, pulling the blade away. He spun about, the blade doing so as well. He semed to dance about, taunting Genesis. "Strength is all well and good, but I prefer speed instead. Faster attacks won't do as much, but they'll have a better chance of connecting."

Bella held her hand to chin and gave a "hmm". "I think he's learning from his mistakes. He's using my speed techinque", noted Bella. Mod looked at Bella and sighed. "I hope Genesis is not he's test...". Mod started to chuckle, until Bella kicked him again

In a light gait, Blaze stepped back, a taunting smirk on his face. He flourished the blade in front of him. "Come on Genesis, you haven't made a single move besides that one slash. Are you afraid?"

Mod shook his head. "Taunting...isn't the best thing, even when he's still a 3rd and he's fighting a 1st", said Mod. This time Bella didn't kick him. 'Even in battle, you never taunt, I tease and make fun, but never taunt in a real battle", said Bella

"You are serious Bella?", asked Mod. Bella looked down at Mod.
"He's my 3rd", said Bella

((I guess I'll take up Genesis until Genesis/Blake returns to this RP. Otherwise it'll be deadlocked for a while.))
"Alright, you asked for it. But don't blame me when you're on the ground, beaten by the next hero," Genesis answered. With a quick sprint, he was upon Blaze, the crimson blade descending towards Blaze's body.
The blade was parried, however, by the steel of the broadsword Blaze wielded. A smirk graced the scarlet-maned SOLDIER 3rd Class' face. "It's about time. But come on, you're holding back. I expected more of a challenge."
"Don't be so sure of that," the red-cloaked man replied. A quick flick of his wrist sent the blade clasped in Blaze's hand away. The tip of the crimson blade overed in front of Blaze's neck. "It's over, you've been disarmed." He thrust forward, the deadly tip making its path towards Blaze's neck.
Instinct kicked in; Blaze held the blade between his two palms, the tip mere millimeters from his throat. "I'm not through yet Genesis!"

Genesis threw hid blade onto his elbow and swung it towards Blaze's face, quickly giving out a sigh he backfliped and clenched the blade in his hand.
Good, i was beginning to wonder what your tactics were.

"It isn't over yet Genesis. It's only just begun," Blaze remarked. He quickly ducked his head to avoid the blow. "Your movements are predictable. Use the unorthodox!" Flames began to surround his hands and he leaped into the air, the flames spiraling around him. "Fira!"

Indeed, however you lack power...
Fiarga!
Flames swarmed around Genesis's hand and shot towards Blaze, they seemed to follow him as they neared.
Now did you predict...
This?
Genesis took a normal swing at Blaze, however he arched in that pose and spun the blade's hilt until the blade was facing him, then he struck Blake with the blade as the blade swung from it's position to facing forwards.
(Sorry if that was confusing. basically i spun the blade towards my elbow and swung it so the blade ended up back to the way it was.)
