As (overall) crappy this weekend has been, especially today, something cheered me up a bit tonight..
I've been breeding Growlithe babies like mad, attempting to get a Jolly female for DragnGuy7. So far I've bred 180 Growlithes and only four or five of those have been Jolly. And all of them male. This is really rough without a Jolly Ditto, and I don't see myself getting to that Jolly female Chimchar anytime soon..
But I digress.
I'm hatching Eggs, and lo-and-behold I hatch a shiny male Growlithe. That made me (guiltily) jump up out of my grieving process and run out of my room to show my brother in excitement.
He's not up for trade, I just wanted to share. His name is Shyloh, heheh. It's my first shiny I've ever hatched from an Egg, even if it was done using the Masuda Method.
My apologies for not getting to anyone's trade this weekend like I said I would. I had my male rat, Mojo, euthanised this morning, and I spent all weekend spoiling him and giving him love.

I've been breeding an Arcanine I traded into Diamond from my FireRed to a Ditto I got over the WFC that came from Japan.

Wow! Congrats on the shiny Growlithe. I've never chained or bred for shinies so I only have a Chinchou and Beautifly that I just happened upon (I had a Floatzel too, but I gave it to my cousin). Hopefully you'll get the right Growlithe for your trade soon; 180 Growlithes is a lot.
Sorry to hear about Mojo though. I've never had a rat, but I've lost other pets before, so I know it's hard. sad
