Eden looked really surprised and disbelieveing, "I did? I must've gotten over-excited, or over-panicked." She shifted on the bed and mumbled to herself, "Geez William... Dear Lord what would mother say? She'd probably hunt him down with her spatchula and whip him right on the a**..." She chuckled at her mumbled words and allowed her head to rest upon the pillow that had been set there for her.

She nodded in agreement to Reno's point. "Yeah... I suppose your statement does hold sense in it. I'm really tired, but I'm not gonna be able to relax, especially when I'm gonna have nightmares..." Nightmares of mother and her spatchula, and being an auntie...

Eden stretched her arms, wincing in pain as she did so. Soon after her stretch came a yawn and a groan. She then tried to get comfortable by shifting around in the bed by setting herself in various postitions.

Eden snickered as Reno was quick to back away like she was a time bomb. "Sorry Reno, but I'm wide awake... Way too much to think about... And dread about..." She closed her eyes and sighed.

"So... What's the matter? You thinking about your family Reno? I'm sorry if I resurfaced a painful or unpleasant memory." Her arms and legs ached, she'd never get to sleep with them like this...

Edith nodded gloomily. "Yeah... I suppose... That's why William disappeared on me... Unfortunately I wasn't able to get away from mom as easily. Ever since William had disappeared she guarded us like newborn puppies... Heh, she still phones me on my cell from time to time. And at my apartment that I'm never at..."

She felt guilty, she should have broken contact with her mother and family a long time ago, but a part of her just couldn't let go or do it... How selfish was she?

Eden was distant, as if she weren't there when she replied. "Yeah... They try to stop you, but it doesn't convince you... Nothing can once you've chosen this life... Settling down is nearly impossible to do once you start something like this... I've been on both sides of the story, I know..."

Krii'Ouse nodded his head slowly, and laid it down straight, again. His eyes still closed, he let his mind rest, and retracted his senses. Gail put the bin in a safe, secure place, to keep the magnet from sucking the metals to it. It wasn't a normal magnet, it attracted all metals, not simply the usual magnetic ones, but every one. A small switch dictates which metal to attract at one time, and it must be at very close proximity.

She moved the device to his leg, slowly, climbing upwards. Small amounts of silver shot through his skin, leaving small exit wounds. Krii'Ouse hissed in pain, but stayed still. 'I know, Sethe, it'll hurt, but it's the only way to get it out of you.' she said, in a calming voice. She repeated the process on his other leg, and got the same effect. Moving to his arms, she got nothing out of them, so she moved to his right shoulder.

As she hovered over his shoulder for a moment, his chest pumped upwards towards the device. 'Oh, God...' she said, moving it away quickly. 'Kerri, you'll have to hold him down, this is going to hurt him, a lot...' She put the device down, deactivating it. Moving about the room, she gathered some things together, put an IV up, and slid the needle into his skin.

Krii'ouse cried out in pain. The cleansing had worked in his legs, but the cleanliness was burning. His body had momentarily gotten used to the silver in his blood. Gail picked up the device again, and started it back up. She pushed down on his chest, to hold him down, and put the device overh is left shoulder.

He screamed in pain as the silver gathered together, and ripped a hole straight through his skin. It continued to sweel up, more and more pumping out of his veins. She repeated this on the other four corners of his chest, and sucked a large amount of silver from his veins, only the left shoulder leaving as big a hole as there was there.

She slid across his chest, sucking small amounts of the silver through his pores, and finally a small amount from each of the holes again. She ran across his body quickly, checking for anything she missed. She was done. She deactivated the device, and put it away. She put bandages over the holes that had been left from the exiting of the large amounts of silver, and put some pain relieving liquid into the drip as well. 'There you go, Sethe,' she began, 'Now, just rest up for a day or two, and you'll be out of here.'

She started for the door, and turned around. 'You can put his, and your, stuff back on.' she said to Kerrigan. 'And keep a good eye on his holes. Those should patch up quickly. Take care of him.'

The demon watched as Skiaska looked wearliy up at him. "E-Erik?" The demon, Kaii, felt blood rush to his eyes and leak out of the corners as she smiled. "I missed you..." Her eyes slowly closed and Kaii cursed. Someone had set up an IV of blood into her, and the bullets had been pulled out. But... Kaii grimaced. Her blood wasn't clotting.

After applying all the possibly safe pressure to her wounds, the bleeding slowed to a small stream, but got stronger everytime her heart pumped. Which was slowing. With a growl, Kaii pushed on her chest and rubbed her neck. She gasped, and her heart picked up a bit.

Finally, the bleeding stopped and her wounds were bound. Skiaska looked at him weakly again. "Erik... I... l..." Once, again, her eyes closed, but she fell asleep. With a tired grin, Kaii spoke. "She's gonna be okay... God, b***h, don't scare us like that..."

He makes his way down into the infirmary, the scene one of slightly bedraggled confusion. Wounded are coming in left and right from the encounter in the high rise district, many of them not under their own power, or at least not completely. Those who survived with less to bandage up help the sick or ailing next to them make it to a bed before they themselves collapse on a bench or chair to rest.
Fortunately, there are not many in critical condition...a few bullet holes here and there, a few of the immortals leaking hypo-allergenic fluids based on their races...Silver nitrate and Liquid Phosphor drip onto the clinically clean tiles, and get mopped up again by the nearest passing nurse with a towel handy...
He makes his way through the small crowd, finding Krii quickly amongst the wounded. He stops for a moment, looking down at his fellow co-leader...

"Looks like you got a bad end of the stick...too bad i coulden't come help cover you back...But then i guess i at least got to save your hide in general at the end. Worth enough to me. You owe your life to a Tick. And that puts me on the level. Glad to see you safe anyhow."
