*Puppykins? what the heck is that?* Sam raised an eyebrow in confusion and it gave him an almost sad look.

Sam kept on staring at him quizzically. *Something happened here.* he looked at Soma and then at Chloe and it hit him. *She's a vamp! He turned her while we were gone!* the quizzical look disappeared. *That explains everything.* he thought. Sam showed his teeth in a smile and nudged Soma with his nose.

Chloe walked over.
She was more confident and open. it radiated off of her. Sam felt like he was meeting a new person but it was still the same Chloe, just changed, a little bit, in a big way. she shook his paw with a smirk on her face. "Hello, I'm Chloe, nice to meet you." Sam howled in response.

"Group Hug!" he said. He then smiled widely and grabbed both Sam and Chloe by the neck with his arms. "I love you guys." he said as he continued to squeeze their necks in his arms.

Sam got squeezed in an awkward position. he almost went to give soma a nibble, and get him off but realized that that would not be a good idea. a throaty growl came out of his throat instead.

Soma laughed and kissed them both on top of the head. He squeezed them once more and let them go.

Sam rubbed his head with his paw where soma had kissed. *Ugh! I'm not your girl or anything! gross, gross.*
Chloe seemed to be pleased about something but Sam didn't care.

Sam snorted unhappily. *Father....* he rested his head on top of his paws and glared at the floor.

Sam growled. *Don't tell her!* he thought. he didn't want any more people knowing about his past than need be, and for some reason he didn't want Erin to know.
