A single leaf drifted away from Vane's cave and landed at Aniyu's feet.
Aniyu looked at the leaf that landed on her shoe. She knew that summons. The leaf drifted up and led her straight to Vane. "You still in one piece little one?"

Aniyu smiled. "Good," she said as she hauled him to his feet. "I'd sure hate to see anything happen to you. I've grown quite fond of you." She smiled as she rumpled his hair.

"Well if I could make myself shift to four-legs to make you more comfortable I would," she sighed. "Alas...I do not have that lovely talent. That would be the rest of my family. Who are actually wondering where you disappeared to. My mother is very fond of your mother. She knows when she sees another dominate female and that's what your mother is." She winked and laughed.
