Valdemar watched as the group interacted with each other. Anyone who knew him could tell that something was wrong. He wasn't his usual cocky and arrogant self, he was more reserved and kept to himself. His face and body emotion were empty but his mind streamed with questions and worries. The encounter at the Iceberg Lounge left him emotionally scarred, as the beast's words echoed through his head, "There is no hope. You can not win this battle. You will fail and die like the rest". Was there really no hope? What would the point of fighting be if there was no chance of victory? Taking a deep breath Valdemar remembered what his mentor said, "Hope is what drives your will".

Starfire walked around Dr. Doom and put her arm around Raven's shoulders and whispered in her ear, "I do not want to be losing you again. Please, be careful."

Larfleeze grumbled to himself and hugged his lantern tightly against himself.
Orange was....not happy. At all. Not only was he being told what to do by a BLUE LANTERN, (hated them), but he was being led around by one on a LEASH like some pet! Larfleeze was NOT a pet!!
And now he had to put up with watching this little display of affection between the Lantern and.....whatever the other creature was. He didn't know what he was. He'd never seen anything like it before. He kind of wanted it. Whatever it was. The skull, the power...all of it.
...but he was on a leash.
...blasted Lantern.
"I do not want to loose you either, Kori." Raven replied quietly. "But, if there is no other option...I will do what I must to keep everyone I can safe. To keep you safe..."

Even as the group at Doomstadt conversed, a mighty roar sounded that could be heard for many miles as a 400 foot-tall behemoth entered the nation's borders. Godzilla had been roaming through the Balkans, minding his own business, and was continuing to do so. Little did he know that he would finally be noticed... and the reception wouldn't be friendly.

Dr. Doom was receiving reports from his Doombots about Godzilla showing up in his native country. After blinking hard at the unbelievable turn of events, Victor turned toward Captain America. Pulling out a display to show the American legend the monster marching across his lands, "I cannot believe that I am actually saying this, but I need the Avengers help. This creature is threatening the lives of my citizens. Will you and your Avengers aid me in removing this creature from my lands?"
Firestar peeked around Cap's big arm to see the screen and her jaw dropped, "Godzilla!?! Why is Godzilla here!?!"

Captain America didn't hesitate in his answer: "Godzilla? Oh, man... Of course we'll help you, Doctor Doom," he said resolutely.

Starfire looked at the screen in confusion while she leaned, still hugging on to Raven, "Strange. That looks like the monster from one of Beast Boy's favorite movies?"

Valdemar glanced to the screen, as he eyed the monster. The beast was gigantic and was sure to cause damage to the country. That was something Valdemar couldn't allow, and on the other hand he was sure that the mystery man from his vision sent this beast to them.
Valdemar's fist clenched tightly as the mere thought of the vision sent him into a rage. He wouldn't let his vision become true, Valdemar was willing to do everything he could to prevent it.
His ring began to glow as its radiance grew in strength fast, the green light from his ring was so bright that it would most likely catch the attention of the room. Then without another word, he shot into the air and flew out of the castle at an extreme speed. His mind was racing with thoughts as he sped towards the monster. Reaching Godzilla in a moment, he stayed at his current speed as he charged a huge sphere of energy around his ring. Charging towards Godzilla's stomach, he tossed a punch with the sphere of energy still on his fist.

Starfire's eyebrows knit themselves together before she responded, "If this 'Godzilla' is from the TV, does that mean that the Control Freak is on the loose?"

"I don't know exactly who that is, but I can assure you, ladies, that monster you're seeing right now is not a movie character, at least in our universe," Steve Rogers said to Starfire and Raven. He had seen Valdemar rushing headlong for Godzilla's presumed location, and frowned.
Elasa, too, saw Valdemar fly off out of Castle Doom, but as she was outside the castle and the others were not, she had no idea what was happening, and therefore merely blinked once and looked to her new boyfriend.
"Zeso..." she asked softly, "Why is Valdemar in such a hurry? Can you detect anything?"
Meanwhile, Godzilla spotted the green streak of Valdemar Vayn's aura as it headed for him, but thought nothing of it, perceiving it as nothing more than a trick of the brain. So, he continued onward, crushing everything underfoot. He didn't notice when Valdemar had even hit him; he was simply so unbelievably large, and his hide so extremely tough, that Valdemar's attack did nothing. However, he did notice a green glow coming from under him, and stopped in his tracks, moving his enormous head downward. He made a tiny (by his standards, at least-- it would still be a bit loud to Valdemar) noise of surprise. Since when did the little humans start flying around on their own? And why did this one have a green outline?

Eira did not hesitate to follow the green lantern. She clutched her staff in hand, her gaze widening at the monster's girth. "Sweet baby Jesus..." she murmured.

Reyna followed Eira out of the castle, and a smile split her face at the sight of Godzilla. This would be fun. She raised her fist and a charge of yellow energy shot from her ring towards the beasts nose.

Godzilla didn't feel the energy blast toward his nose, but he flinched regardless, and snapped his massive jaws at the glowing woman. One, two, three flying people, all with different colors...

Reyna glowered. "What are a lizards weaknesses?" she said, not to anyone in particular. Maybe she should slug it in the eye?
