Steel paused a moment. "Um, alright. I'll let you change then." she said as she retreated back into the hall way.

madalyn where did you go agian. talma thought as she walked in to the room where her twin was. madalyn did any thing seem weird with that girl to you ?

“Oh. Well that explains it.” Talma said as she began to change out of her costume.

“Alright, well, I’m going out to see Stella again.” Maddy said as she finished changing into some street clothes and headed out the door. Once out, she walked up to Stella. “So. When did you start looking like Misty? Have you always looked that way?”

Steel looked down at the girl and blinked. “Um. Yes. I was made to look just like her.” She thought she had just told her this a few minutes ago. Perhaps she didn’t believe her.

“By who.” Maddy asked.

Steel‘s expression didn‘t change, but she instantly tightened up. “Someone called Arcade.” she replied with a hint of hatred in her voice.

“Who?” Maddy asked.

Steel hesitated a moment. She was angry just thinking about the man. “No one. He’s gone now.” she replied finally, turning her glance away from the girl.

“So, when do you think Misty will be out of the BATHROOM??” Maddy asked, making sure the last word was loud enough for someone inside the other room to hear her.

Steel turned back towards the girl with a bit of a wince. “When she’s able to come out. Look, she just woke up not long before you got here. She’s been hurt pretty badly. It took her a while just to get to the bathroom.”

“Like how badly?” Maddy asked, a small suspicious look in her eyes.

Steel‘s wince grew. “She…she had quite a few broken bones…and neck. And, I think she was sick whenever she walked into the bathroom.” she wasn’t sure how much to tell the girl. She’d see her eventually, but a lot of her major wounds had healed.

“Anything else?” the girl continued expectantly.

“I don’t know.” she lied. “Warp helped heal her before we brought her here.”

The girl blinked. “Warp?” “Did you just say Warp.”

Steel blinked in return. “….yes, why?”

“He’s the one that did this to me.” she replied, stomping her foot a bit.

Steel blinked again. She didn‘t see anything wrong with the girl. “Did what to you?”

At about that point, the other twin walked into the hallway, fully clothed in normal attire as well. Maddy turned and pointed at her sibling. “I used to be like her.”

The other girl blinked. “Used to be like what?” Talma asked.

“A teenager.” Maddy replied, pointing to her…not so teenage body.

Steel glanced between the two a few times. “Well…he can’t do anything about that now. He’s not here.” she said. She really didn’t know what to do about it.

Maddy grumbled to herself and crossed her arms.

The other girl suddenly brightened when she realized what they had been talking about. “What? Our little nephew Andrew was here?”

Again, Steel blinked. “Little Nephew?” He hadn’t called himself Andrew…he certainly wasn’t LITTLE….she had a vague understanding of what a nephew was, and from what she understood, they were too young to have him as a nephew.

Before the conversation could go any further, the door to the bathroom finally opened. Sapphire emerged, deathly pale and sickly looking, and a freshly made blue silk cloak draped over her destroyed costume. She stood in the doorway a moment, trying to steady herself and summon the strength to continue walking, and looked at the others. The red-head girl….she looked familiar. Then she caught a glimps of the young duplicate beside her. She was too exhausted to show her surprise.
”……oh.”

"Hi Misty are you feeling a little better?" madalyn said as she looked at her nearly dead sister. "do you want something to eat?"

we were in a shop and decided to go and walk around

well no duh madalyn everyone gets her the same way.talma snapped at her sister.

"Oh, please don't start...." Misty near growled, rubbing the bridge of her (probably broken) nose. "My head is killing me enough as it is."
