Nathan managed to pull on a proper grin for the picture right before Anna took it, but nonetheless found himself pulled together between Anna and Blaine. He tried to decide how he felt about this, but dropped the subject as he suspected his mind would go places he'd rather it wouldn't. Then it struck him what Anna had actually told him - he'd been trying to work it out and now he understood. "Handsome?" he said in disbelief. "Please. As far as I'm concerned, no one who spends the amount of time I do in front of a computer and thus indoors can possibly be handsome."

Anna rolled her eyes at Blaine's reaction then scoffed at Nathan. Her tanned hands set the camera down so she could speak: People who sell themselves short are fools. You're not fool Nathan. Anna signed, seeming quite sure of what she was saying.

Stark looked up at Bitong for a moment before looking back down at nothing. "Anatoly has passed the test. From now on, he will be in command over the rest of the men, in the same position as yourself. Keep an eye on him. Help him if he needs it, but I want you to follow his lead. And please," he said, looking up, "try not to make it glaringly obvious. I'll inform him of his promotion myself. It starts tomorrow. Dismissed." Stark turned and walked out of a third door, leaving Bitong to do as he would.
((Let Bitong and Anatoly get settled, and "tomorrow" in the RP world, we'll get the story moving again.))

Nathan shrugged without commitment, unwilling to resist but not agreeing either. If she really intended to buff up his self-confidence, it would take more effort than that. "Thanks," he added, realizing how impolite it might seem to let such a thing go.

Anna gave Nathan a flat look before looking at her camera. It was definately going to be a wonderful picture, despite Blaine's crankieness. She turned to her new friend and signed again: Thank you very much for the picture. A bright grin was spreading across her face.

Nathan smiled in turn. "No problem. I do hope I'll get a copy for all my trouble?" he joked, grinning at her. He considered the camera. "Do you have lots of those kinds of pictures? I'd like to see some time."

Anna's grin grew at his joke, but she did plan on giving Nathan a copy anyway. She gave him a nod before speaking: I have many, but they are at the orphanage. I don't live there anymore.

"Ha. We could retrieve them at some point," Nathan suggested. "Can't be too hard, not with what we've got on our hands."

"Okay. It'll be nice to have someone doing my job for me" Bitong replied, smiling as Stark left through the door.
As soon as Stark had left, Bitong realized that he needed to drop off the Mysticker he had used on his mission off for recharging.
Bitong walked out of the door he had come through on his way in, frowning as he worried what it might mean with Stark promoting Anatoly so soon. He then shrugged, deciding to go along with whatever Stark had in mind, and the hurried on to the armory drop-off.

Anna nodded in agreement before moving to put the camera back in her pocket where it would hopefully stay safe. I imagine that I am allowed to come and go as I please. she signed to Nathan.

(( SHOOP DA WHOOP (My rp.))) Nathan raised an eyebrow. "At an orphanage, they just let you wander off and come back? That's awful curious, don't they get worried about you?" He glanced over at Blaine, who seemed to be being awfully quiet and... non-interactive. Perhaps that was normal, though.

((I'm checking it out now as we speak.))
Blaine's stomach growled, he was hungry, "When are we going to get some food?" he asked, interrupting the conversation between Nathan and Anna.

Nathan took note of similar bodily needs within himself. "Hopefully soon. We are in the flippin' cafeteria sort of affair, aren't we?" he suggested, looking around to see if there might be a place to eat. Indeed, it appeared there was; men and women who looked suspiciously like people Nathan had known in high school stood behind counters, delivering what looked like food to persons passing by. He nodded in the general direction of the food, raising his eyebrows.

Anna rolled her eyes before signing: I am old enough to go out and about by myself, you know. At the mention of food Anna looked down at her stomach but it didn't growl. So much for good timing..

Nathan shrugged awkwardly. "I figured... I dunno, they'd be kinda harsh there. How much do they really trust people?" Nathan stood up, heading for the food and checking to see if the others were coming. Again. New friends; it had been a while since he had made any.
