I looked at the pile of ruble that now separated us from the others. Now, they will have no idea what is after them or how to protect themselves from it. Sure, I didn't remember my past life before being held captive but I at least knew their weaknesses. I leaned against the ruble trying to see how thin or thick the wall was; I needed to get to them. They needed guidance otherwise they will only face the same fate as I. Somewhere in my mind told me that maybe I wasn't the only one held against my will, perhaps there was someone with me. My eyes closed as I thought of any other names I may remember even if it was the slightest bit; nothing.
"Hello," I shouted at the wall, hoping that they might be able to hear me.

"As a father, it is your obligation to stay with your son. So, where do we go from now Lance? You are the expert here." Franky said blankly.

Mallory moved to the wall of rubble and looked it over. He could hear sounds from the other side; at least it seemed neither of the girls was hurt. "Should we try to dig through? Perhaps the damage is not so much that we cannot do so." He spoke softly to his father who stood next to him, neither of them paying attention to the newcomer.

Alphonse frowned slightly as he looked it over. He did not really know a thing about structural integrity and he would rather not bring half the tunnel down on their heads.

I giggled softly hearing their pestering questions. "You are in no condition to ask me any questions." I brushed a strand of hair out of my face and tucked it aside. Slowly, my form was shown to the group as I paused the shadows from continuing their havoc. "My name and my origin should be none of you're concern, you should be worrying about was is to come. Which is why I am here." I smiled slightly as my eyes moved over each individual.

"Fine. What is coming?" Lexi asked. and stepped forwards, she stood a foot and a half in front of the others. She now gave off the air of a leader. Her fighting had stopped, her face was clear of emotion and her mind was running without pause for emotion. "Tell us, or be gone." She commanded and folded her bruised and scratched arms in front of her.

"The masses will be heading you're way once the sun sits halfway on the horizon. You have two possibilities to choose from. Either you stay down in this tunnel and remain safe as the rest of the population suffer, or you prove you're courage and help you're people. That way, you might have a chance at survival as well as everyone else." I turned around after giving them the message and slowly walked away bring the shadows back with me. "Heed my warning," and with that I was gone.

"Dawn, I am your sister. Dusk, our mother died when we were young, our father recently died, but he was a drunken weapon's-master anyway and never took care of us, and we are the only family we have. The people on the other side of that rubble have only known us for a short amount of time, but care about us more than our own father ever did!" I sat on the ground, awe struck by how much our lives really sucked. It is amazing how you see something completely differently after having actually said it. "Please remember," I murmured.

"Dawn, Dusk," I looked to the girls, amazed at what I was seeing. Was this a mirrage? A holusination, perhaps? I walked out of the darkness and revealed myself.

Lexi Sighed. “I have no choice, I must fight. But I want the children to stay in the tunnels; They will not get involved in such violence.” She turned to Alphonse. “You and your son may chose your own way, But Please keep him away from the fight.” She looked to Mallory. “You are too innocent to see what will happen up there.”

Lance put an arm around Mallory. “My love, my dearest, my one true weakness. Remember your promise.” He kissed Mallory passionately then released him. “Concur the world.” Lance then took off down the tunnel. He would be the first above ground to relay information.
