Tokeru shook his head. "I can't eat Kaji, I can't sleep for more than 2 hours a day. I'm a wreck. Anything i eat seems to come right back out. It's like my own body is rejecting life. And the worst part of it all is, i'm not feeling the effect of it. I mean look at me, i havn't been able to keep anything down for the past two weeks, and yet my body looks the same, no shrunken stomach, no wasting muscles, no hunger. It's like i've become a vampire. I want to eat and i know i need to eat, but my body doesn't want it. My body rejects it. It seems that the only thing that hasn't cause me to go insane is my conscience, and even then i think i have gone insane. My concsience appears to me Kaji. SHe appears to me as an angel. Pure and radient. And she talks to me. I havn't gone insane have i? Has my mind become so twisted with hatred and revenge that I have lost my sanity?" Tokeru grabbed Kaji's Jacket and clenched it, a look of desperation in his blue eyes.

Kaji looked down at Tokeru and sighed a bit as he set the gun down on the ground and leaned up against the grate of his weapon locker. He looked back over at Tokeru and said, "Ok, so your consicence appears in a celestial form and talks to you. What exaclty does she say to you? Maybe there's a messege somewhere in there." The werewolf looked down at tokeru, his own golden eyes showing concern. Granted, Tokeru didn't look all that bad, he was right. He didn't show any signs of malnutirion.

Tokeru sat down on the ground. "If there's a message, I don't know about it. She's my conscience Kaji, she tells me not to do certain things. What does your conscience tell you, probably the same things right? Help the innocent, punish the evil?"

Kaji shrugged a bit as he said, "yeah mostly the same things, but with the addition of telling me not to kill innocents when my urge to eat human flesh starts to rise up." He looked down at tokeru, "Don't worry, I already got rid of that urge on some deer. Man those tasted nasty." He gave a shudder as he then looked down at Tokeru and said, "Well, look at what you just said 'Help the innocent, punish the evil.' I know you have been punishing the evil, but what about the other half? Have you been helping the innocent directly?"

Tokeru looked up at Kaji. "How else can i help the innocent but by killing Draegan. He's the root of all evil in this planet. If i want to help the innocent the only way i can is by killing him and stopping him from using innocents as pawns in his games. How else am i supposed to help them Kaji? Draegan is like the devil, always there. If i eliminate the evil then there is no evil to act on the innocent."

Kaji clenched his right hand a bit and then bopped tokeru over the head as he said, "Even if you get rid of the stem, there will still be roots. Draegan maybe the devil, but the devil always has minions. Those minions will rise up when the devil is gone." He sighed a bit and looked down at Tokeru, "By helping the innocent, I mean. Actually helping them up front. Going out there and helping them out. Protecting them from everyday life, not staying behind their backs going for one thing."

Tokeru looked at Kaji, confused. "Protect them from everyday life? What do you mean, from things like rain? and muggers? There police and other people to do that. Why should I do things like that when other are there that can do it more effectively than i can. Don't i serve mankind better by going after the big fish and scaring the others into hiding?"

Kaji looked down at Tokeru again, "But police can't go after the Tainted, vampires, and lycans like we can. Even if we take down Dreagan, that will take care of the vampires, maybe. But the Tainted and Lycans will always be out there. We have to protect them from those kinds of threats. Help them survive to another day. and I'm getting really tired of preaching this. You should already know this, that's why you made this place. to help the innocent, not ot go after one vampire alone."

Tokeru looked at Kaji and heard the exasperation in the lycan's voice. "This facility, was created with only one purpose, to expose and destroy Draegan. That is my one goal, and if I die in killing Draegan, then the world will be better off, one great evil will have fallen allowing a few minor goods to band together and destroy the minor evils. This has been my path ever since Draegan modified me, and this is the path i will take untill he dies. I can't rest untill i see the vampire killed. I vowed it, upon the souls and graves of my mother, father, and sister." Tokeru lowered his head as the painful memories came back.

"You have to ork your way up the ladder, Tokeru," said Kaji as he knelt down and looked that fallen angel in the face. "You can't leapt at the top rung all the time, you will miss and fall back down. You have to work your way up, taking out the minions to make the leader come out and fight you himself." He stood back up and started to walk out of the room, "That's what I did to get the lycan that turned me out into the open."

Tokeru looked up at kaji as the lycan left. "There are no minions" he whispered. "They've all been killed, all the ones that know about draegan and what he does. I've killed them all. He's the last one left, and this isn't a ladder, This is a staircase with 5 floors removed. But what can i do to replace those floors. The floors have been destroyed, there is no rubble left of them with which i can make new ones. I have to find the material and then make new stairs." Then louder he said. "Your right Kaji, and I have just the plan to do it. But we need more hunters, to haven."
He got up, grabbed a few more weapons and took off running towards the garage that held his car.

Kaji was outside the armory, he just walked out into the hallway to lean up against the wall. He chuckled a bit as he turned to walk back into the armory and he grabbed his knives, M1911s, and the big gun and tossed the smaller guns into a backpack. He tossed ammo in there as well as he then shifted to his wolf form, the backpack firmly fastened to his back and he held the bazooka in his mouth. He took off running after Tokeru, soon catching up to be running along side him.

As Tokeru reached the garage, Kaji had just caught up to him. "hey kaji, get out of that wolf form, you won't fit in my car." He opened the door to the garage and went out to the back, to reveal a jet black 1981 Camaro Z28. He opened the door and started up the engine, waiting for Kaji.

Kaji's jow dropped when he was in wolf form, making the bazooka fall to the ground, not a big distance really. But the clunk snapped him out of it, as he then shifted to his human form and got into the car, tossing his backpack to his feet and holding the bazooka on his lap. "Let's go."

Tokeru revved up the engine, and shifted it into first smoothly, it took off with a squeel? Leaving burning rubber behind, as he reached the lift, he shifted into reverse and turned the car into a 180, smoothly backing into the lift, then he made the lift go to the surface. As the surface garage door opened, the car was facing forwards. "Dont wanna back up outta here with this baby." WIth another peelout, the Camaro darted towards the street, and in no short time was heading towards Haven.
