Elnara laughed softly, because if he hadn't said that last bit, she would have.
"Thanks also to the staff," she smiled warmly. "I know most of them are invisible most of the time, but for those of you who are out here, I ask that you extend our thanks and appreciation to all of those still hard at work."
She looked back up towards the head table. "Celebor, I want to thank you in particular ... since you were born, you've helped me with every difficulty I've faced ... and I also want to thank you for leading everything here tonight, and for giving me away."
"We still get to keep you in the end," Celebor called back with a chuckle, "so don't get too carried away with that."
Elnara laughed and squeezed Lore's hand again. She could feel herself growing emotional, and she didn't want to break down until they returned to their seats again.

"Again, thank you everyone for supporting us," Lore was smiling so much it would probably hurt later.
In was good though to see everyone and to be able to thank everyone.
"And with that, we wish you a very good evening."

Elnara smiled up at Lore and squeezed his hand once more, then started back towards their seats. She knew they would be leading in the dancing in just a moment, but she wanted a chance to get a drink before they did.
Celebor stood as Lore and Elnara passed him, putting a hand on each of their shoulders before facing everyone else.
"It will just be a moment," he told everyone, "while the tables are being cleared away, and then we'll have Mom and Dad lead in the first dance."
Shiro smiled and turned to Lin, folding his hands neatly in his lap.
"I think I'll just watch for the first dance and then I'll be heading to bed," he said softly. "Sir Valdemar said he would let me try something in the morning before we leave."

Thtat caught Lin's interest, she wondered what it could be....
"Hmm.. probably the same," Lin mused.
Besides she didn't know how to dance, though she supposed she could just find someone to chat with. There was a thought, her mind wandered along that tangent.

Earendil stood so that his chair could be taken away with the tables and grinned at Shiro.
"Mind if I tag along tomorrow morning?" he asked eagerly. "I know Sir Valdemar's been working on it for years now, I'm anxious to see if you can help him make it all work."

Shiro grinned and nodded. "Of course," he agreed. "I think we might have gotten it ... I hope so. If it works we can show you our world ... worlds ... without you having to go anywhere."
He turned to Lin. "And we can show people what we find on our trip ... whenever we end up going."
He chuckled softly.

"Okay, now I'm curious," she paused for a moment... and then rolled her eyes at herself.
That probably wasn't the most accurate way of putting it to be honest.
"Alright, I know I'm always curious," she admitted fixing that slip of the tongue, "But I'm very curious now, what have you two been up to exactly?"

Shiro grinned cattily, his tail waving slowly about as if her were very self-satisfied.
"Knew you'd ask sooner or later," he chuckled at his aunt, though there was no malice in it. "I've been working with Sir Valdemar all month ... you know how he was trying to replicate the magical book from Manwe, the one that you read it and your entire surroundings change to show what you're reading about?"
He was so proud of what he was about to say next that he was just about purring.
"I think we've managed it ... he put the final touches on it this afternoon after the ceremony, and he's going to let me test it first thing tomorrow morning. If it works, I can put everything - Gaia, the Seconds world, the manor, the inn - into books to show the people here - and better, we can do the same for the lands that we find when we do our traveling here!"

Lin broke out into a grin, she couldn't help it. It was always hard (up until having introduced them to every single one of her family members) to explain the sort of differences that existed, but now they could. All sorts of things, but best of all stuff that will be from their travels.
"No wonder why you're eager," Lin giggled, "I think I'd like to join you, I remember seeing when he was making that.. .when it was bigger than me."
It had been a long while now that she thought about it, and she had to blink because she hadn't really thought about the amount of time that had passed since then and now.

Shiro chuckled softly. "Jair also wanted to see," he agreed. "I wouldn't be surprised if half the family showed up - the elven half, anyways, since they know what it's all about. Apparently even our cousin Wren's heard about this book and wanted to see it since she was a kid."
"Reminds me of someone else we all know," Ura deadpanned, pretending to study the ceiling.
Suddenly Kaito headed over to join them, spreading his enormous white wings and then folding them once more against his back.
"Pity we have to go back tomorrow," he greeted the others. "Anyone else think we should ask Kaa-san if we can stay a bit longer without her?"

Lin thought about it looking up, it was a pity to leave (even though this had been by far the longest trip she had been to the Southland, at least to her). She grinned up at Kaito, it was sometimes a bit disortating to have Kaito here now talking as he did.
"I don't see why not, a few days more won't hurt, we won't be moving until the day after," Lin replied, "I have no problems with asking, though it's me... and no one is going to be surprised."

Even Shiro, who normally turned down his brother's ideas on the basis that they were either unnecessary, foolish, or wild, looked pleased at the idea.
"And that way," he mused, "if the book doesn't work tomorrow, we still have time to work on it ... and it's not as if we would be missing much more time back home, maybe a few minutes or even just an hour at most ..."
Kaito looked to be quite pleased with himself. "See?" he purred. "Besides, Daeron promised to introduce me to his Uncle Eldrin ... Kaa-san suggested I might like to meet him."
He didn't mention that it was because he hoped to accompany Shiro on the trip that they would all be taking later on, and that he wanted to have some training in before the time came.

Earendil chuckled. "If I didn't know you had work waiting for you when you return home," he joked, "I might suggest that you stay here until your parents went back home as well, training."
Why not? Celebor had done it, Lin was there quite often, and even Shiro had shown interest in coming every now and again. Why not Kaito? As far as he understood, the neko didn't have much waiting for him back home, besides the move, and schooling ... which he could easily get here.

Lin chuckled at that, "It would work, besides we're not moving the furniture, thank goodness. That would be a nightmare, besides most of it won't go anywhere."
Inn furniture wouldn't work in a manor which already had furniture and houses that needed more furniture.
"So it's just our personal things," she tilted her head to consider what Kaito had said, "Fair enough Kaito, it would be better for us to stay a bit longer then if you're going to meet Eldrin. Hmm...." she looked pleased at the thought, "More learning time."

"Great!" Kaito beamed, rubbing his hands together, pleased. He turned around, nearly hitting Shiro in his excitement. "Let's go ask Kaa-san-"
A flicker of annoyance crossed Shiro's face, and Ura reached out and grabbed Kaito by the wing, stopping the neko before he could go far.
"Knob," the demon frowned. "We're in the middle of a celebration for Kaa-san and Tou-san. Wait until morning."
