"Ha! Those Cornerian fighters are like snails. Maybe slugs. They are match for the great Shadow Striker!" Fokkusu started to relax. He slowed down and started drifting through space. "I shall just set the autopilot for Corneria and I shall take a nap."
He set the autopilot like he said. He would have to fly the ship himself when reaches Meteo. "I wonder why the Cornerian Defense Force is so up tight all of the sudden. They only have a few bases on that ice ball."

"You bastards fired at MY ship without ANY warning! Taste the wrath of Xasalamel!" The mech darted in towards the large ship. The Xasalamel was small, just slightly bigger than your standard Arwing. But it was far faster. It gave up some defensive capabilities physically, but its jamming equipment was topknotch. Jack flipped a switch, and all traces of the mech went silent aboard the CDF ship. "I got this just for you. Why dont you try it on?" he said to himself with a smirk. The massive shoulder plates of the mech shot upwards as the hands outstretched from the body. Several plates slid open on the chest, revealing a massive particle cannon, far larger than the ones now revealing themselves in the hands. The chest and hands began to glow a bright green and white.

((Sorry, but this will be too evil, and I can't pass it up))
One of the crewman, a greenhorn, saw something that didn't look right: the particle gun powering up. He ran to one of his superiors, trying to get them to look at the occurrence.
"What? You expect me to spend time out of looking for that mech to come look at some light you found? Get lost, private."
And it only grew in intensity as the time went on.
"You little s**t. Get away from me. I have more important things to do than look at lights."
"A light? Oh, that's rich. Get the hell back to post, or I'll rip your fricken head off."
After about four more, he went off to one of the manually operated guns. Taking control, since the operator was off getting lunch, he aimed at the light. If it wasn't anything in particular, then it wouldn't matter, and he would get in trouble. If it was, he would still get in trouble, but at least he could be smug about it.
Making sure he was as close in aim as the distance allowed, he fired one shot, hoping it hit, cause he ran out of the room after that. If he had stayed, he would have seen it fly directly towards the center of the ever-increasing intensity light.

"Warning, shot(s) fired."
"Engage disruptor field."
"Shot is not a directed energy weapon, Disruptor Field will take no effect. Engage anyways?"
"Oh s**t!" He slammed the controls of the Xasalamel to the right. The shot smashed through the outstretched left hand, tearing up from the palm to the shoulder. The plama cannon backfired, sparking off an explosion that blew off the left arm and and its massive shoulder guard, along with bits of armor from the rest of the mech, exposing some sparking wires and circuitry here and there.

"Sir. Infrared scanners indicate a large spike of heat off the starboard bow. Systems also indicate that one of our guns were fired before the heat spike."
"What?!? You mean to tell me that there was something in the direction that rookie was pointing? Great. Just great. Alright, crew. New plan. Grantam, you are to take credit for the shot fired, and it was Kindoli that order the shot. Am I clear?" A round of "Yes'ir" answered him.
The commander stood up. Walking over to a display screen, he studied it intently. "Navigator. Get the 1st squadron ready. They will be backup for this mission. I want 'him' to be let out." Everyone's faces paled at this.
One of the crewmen stood up, directly facing the commander. "Sir! You can't possibly be thinking of letting 'him' out of his cell, are you? He's too dangerous. What would happen if he didn't listen to us?"
"That's what the 1st squadron is for. They are to take him out if he doesn't obey us. Whatever you do, though, don't tell them that it will basically be a suicide mission if they go out. We need as much morale as possible."

A slot on the forehead's crest slid open, revealing another particle cannon as it began to charge up. The one mounted in the torso wasn't working properly, but was still capable of firing a decent shot. The right palm charged itself to full capacity and ripped out of the hand. Seconds later and the torso followed, smashing in behind the right palm's blast as they rapidly approached the cruiser.

"SIR! Scanners are indicating a large energy shot off the starboard bow. Orders, sir?"
"Raise energy shields to 100% at estimated point of impact. Send orders to release him, NOW! We need to get rid of this threat."
"Aye, sir."
All through the ship, members were preparing for impact, and armed guards were heading towards the cell block. Stun guns and energy pistols behind those, these men were prepared to take out the threat if needed. "All right, men. If he gives any indication of escape, we take him out. No mercy whatsoever, or your family may be next on his list."
The man turned towards the correct cell. "Alright, scum. Are you prepared to get your kill? We have a mecha out there firing upon us." Just then, the ship was hit. Shields strained against the shot, and most of it was nullified or deflected, but some still punched a hole in the shielding. Titanium alloy armor melted away in seconds, leaving the innards in areas exposed. Superheated oxygen erupted, flame-broiling those within its grasp.
"s**t. We don't have time. Get your a** out there, and kill this b*****d. I don't care how you do it, but just do it." All the response he got was an eye with a scar across it, the pupil glossy white in color, staring back at him, and a nod.
Back at the bridge, crewmen were frantic. "Close off the exposed areas. Lower the bulkheads. I need a status report."
"We have lost our kitchens and lavatories. Part of the residential block has been demolished. And we lost the conference hall. Half the shield's energy has been lost. And we lost twenty percent of all out guns."
"s**t. Alright. I want all guns able to, to aim in that direction, and blanket the area in weapons fire. We will wipe this b*****d out and prevent even his remains to rebuild into a star."
All able guns aimed, charged up, and fired towards the mecha. In between the fire, a lone ship sped through with ease, swerving in and out of the firepower. Maniacal cacklings could be heard over the ship's frequencies, causing more than one person to suddenly have chills down their backs.

"Whats this?" The ships multiple weapons platforms opened up on his position. "They don't even know where I am do they...For the love of god they're just blanketing the area. HAAHAHAHA!" The Xasalamel shot forwards, darting in and out of fire. Jack prided himself on being extraordinarily fast and fluid with the manual controls on his mecha models, but the Xasalamel's innate speed gave him an adrenaline rush like no other.
A ship roared past him. The head of the mech shot over its missing shoulder to get the cameras pointed at the new arrival. "VoX, hack that ship's communication net and set up a holo-display." "Right away."
In the cockpit of this new ship, a holographic display popped up in front of the pilot. A poorly lit avian figure sat before him, the only noticeable light coming from his green glowing visor; apart from the several monitors all around him. "Who the hell are you!" (sorry, i dont mean to control your ship or anything at all. i just wanted to set up that little scene there haha)

A light appeared in the cockpit, signs that the holoprojector had come online. A face was seen, but that didn't matter. Rude and obscene gestures were shown to the screen, right before all controls for communication were ripped out of the ship. He just continued on, the dreaded laugh still going.
On the main fighter, the commander was a bit concerned. They had no confirmed kill, or even a hit, and they had no way of communicating with their prisoner. That made things so much more annoying.

"That eye...this fighting style....no, it can't be. VoX, run a search for-" "Way ahead of ya." He darted in and out of fire, now coming from multiple directions since the arrival of this interloper. "Found it." A mugshot along with a good deal of information appeared on the holo-screen to his right. "No way. VoX, is this some kind of mistake?" "I know. It says he was executed 8 months ago." "Well well well, a living legend. Eugene "Crazy Cat" himself."

Using the ship's shields, Crazy Cat rode a weapon's blast towards the mecha. Using the extra speed, he flew right by it, his wings clipping the mecha. Flipping his ship around, he started to power up his guns, but abandoned that attempt, having to dodge another shot by the fighter ship. Grabbing a short-wave radio that the CDF's had forgotten to take out of the ship, he hailed the mecha.
"You don't like the CDF, and I figure you know I don't. How about we join forces and take down some of them? We could have some fun, and create sweet mayhem. What do you say?"

"Sounds like a plan. Keep their attention while I charge the particle cannons, if we're lucky I'll get a full charge on each of them and take that ship down this time." "Enabling long-range weaponry. AI targeting-assist engaged. 3/4 particle cannons beginning charge." Once again, the right arm shot up and out, palm glowing as the torso slid open, accompanied by the crest on the forehead. But this time they were glowing an odd color, a purplish red. Something was different.
