Ayami would stop when told to she would see several redwood trees that pierced high into the sky . Ayami would realize the design of trees and figure it was created by some sort of jutsu . " Slade ! " Ayami shouted as her now long hair swung below her waist . Ayami would feel the sun rays upon her bare legs as she started to form a series of hand signs . Out of thin air a eye would start to form from sand . " Desert eye " Using a small amount of chakra Ayami would move the eye closer and closer to the redwood trees . She did this just in case Slade tried a fast one .

What Ayami captured from the sand eye was enough to know what Slade was doing he was working on a jutsu or experiencing on something . " Sorry to keep you waiting but i had to help with the construction of Konoha and then i got caught up in my training. But i do see that you been quite busy . Ayami would say as she remained where she was . She would brush the hair from her eyes as she looked on at Slade waiting for him to finish his jutsu so that they could talk . " Hurry up im sure that we don't have much time . " Ayami stated as she remained in her same position and waited on Slade .

Walking forward, and slowly passing between the trees without one actually trying to harm him. Slade chuckles a little to himself, as he writes down one last thing on the clipboard, before slipping his writing utensil and the clipboard into a large pocket within the long white scientist coat. "If you must know, each one of these trees are a shinobi that had to be killed, when they tried to invade this village. Rotting beneath the ground, is the remains of a body, in order to keep the trees in line." Slade says, as he stops before Ayami. He looked pretty much the same, his short hair having grown a little longer, but only less then an inch. The only real difference, was the intelligence hidden within his odd yellow hues, and the white coat that he wore, in place of the previous black Akatsuki styled cloak. "Hurry up, you say. What should I be hurrying?" He asks, as he raises an eyebrow slightly, while looking Ayami over slowly, before his odd yellow gaze switched to look around her. "Are you being accompanied by someone, or did you come here alone?" Slade asks, as he looks back at Ayami once again.

"Not exactly, this is a little side experiment since a deal of people attacked this village. We captured them, placed them in the ground with a certain type of seed on them, and then let the seeds grow off their chakra at a much slower pace. They're dead now, but not the trees are fully grown, and make a good defense for the village. Do you not agree?" Slade asks, moving a hand and gesturing towards the large Redwood trees that he had planted nearly three and a half years ago. They were beautifully grown to their fullest now, making everything else seem small compared to their heights. "Unless you are myself, the only way in without alerting the entire village to your presence is the main roads. Sine if you were to try to pass by, they would attack and try to eat you. And if you attacked them, you would reveal your position easily to the angry villagers." Slade says, as he begins walking along a set out path that was the closest you could get to the trees before they attacked. Heading slowly towards a road that could be seen a little ways in the distance. "It is all a matter of preference. If you want to get in silently, take the roads. At least for this village." Slade says, with a roll of his shoulders towards Ayami. "As for what I have been doing, I can not tell you for it is still being worked on. Though it's at either the failure point, or the point of succeeding. Since we are coming close to the final steps now." He says, smiling a little about his own works.

"Of course I do. But that does not matter, it seems that my experiments have pulled through after all." Slade says, his head tilting a little as the now noticed earpiece to his radio was letting him know of the news of his experimentation. "Soon enough, you will see the full effects of my four year long work." Slade says with a grin, as he turns a corner onto the main road and begins walking slowly along the path that he had pointed out, as he headed for the Hidden Grass Village seen in the distance. "Lets hope your follower, heard our conversation. Wouldn't want to seem them be eaten by the trees." Slade says, with a dark little chuckle, before he continues onwards towards the village. Though once he was at the walls, he took a side path around them, heading for what looked like a large hill in a field, not too far away.

"Alright, inside this hill is the lab that I have been working on, with a few other shinobi of this land, and some other lands.." Slade says, as he gestures to the large hill when they arrive at it's base. As he gestures, he mumbles something into the mic of his radio, causing a side of the hill to soon slide up and open up an entrance way into the hill. Showing a dimly lit and foreboding hall, as a rush of cool air hit them upon the door opening. "Do not touch anything, or go into any locked doors. It could be hazardous to your health." He says, as he heads forward with a sweep of his white lab coat. Although just as he begins to head in, he starts talking in order to reply to her question. "I never considered becoming a shinobi. It was just kind of a sudden choice, because I wanted to travel safely.." He says, walking through the cool air of this darkened hall. Once Ayami walked inside, the door should slam shut behind her, in a sense preventing escape. Although it really just shut, to be a form of camoflauge for the lab hidden in this hill.

Coming to a stop within a large room, that seemed to have a large container of some sort, on the other side. Blood actually littered the floor in smudges in one corner, where a compactor of sorts, was held behind a multipaneled door. "Well, this is all for secrecy. But the major use of this room, at least. Is for bioengineering. We're doing some experiments on the effects of certain aspects of plant life. Along with the Zetsu clan's abilities." He says, as he walks over to another male in a lab coat and hands him the clipboard before turning and walking over to the large container. "According to the other scientists, today is the day we test the effects of our work, on an actual subject. Instead of dead ones." Slade says, as he chuckles a little, turning with a flourish of his lab coat to look at Ayami. "Today is the day I enter the chamber, and the effects are attempted. If they are done correctly, my entire genetic structure will be changed!" Slade says, grinning broadly almost like a child as he spins back around, tearing the lab coat from his shoulders and tossing it aside in the process. Once this was done, he walked towards the chamber, and turned to the side, passing through a door on the other side of the room, before announcing, "Let the procedure begin!" Once walking through the door, and shutting it behind him. He stripped of his clothing, and then walked into the chamber, as an odd gas began to fill it up, obscuring his form yet not completely. Taking a seat upon the chair inside, he chuckles am little to himself, as he slowly loses consciousness. Suddenly, flashing began to occur, as the process began along with a small red warning light flashing on the ceiling in the center of the room. The scientists were scrambling around, typing furiously and yelling to each other, although the words could not be heard.

As the process continued, Slade's shadow could be seen through the haze of whatever substance that was in the chamber. It looked as though his very being was being ripped apart, as his heart rate would begin to speed up on the monitors. The scientists nodded to Ayami, before they continued on with their tasks, dashing about and making sure everything was running correctly, one yelling about a loose tube some where, as more dash towards the broken tube and get it under control. Minutes go by, as Slade's vitals suddenly drop to a point of death, before instantly rocketing up to healthy and then fast within seconds. The shadow within the haze, now looking nothing like that of Slade, though it was hard to tell when this had actually happened. A couple of the doctors rush over to the door, Slade had entered, as the shadow in the room begins to move and walk towards the wall where Slade had entered. Walking through the next room, he soon exited, as one of the doctors instantly swept a doctors lab coat over him, and then SLade buttoned it up before turning around. He looked far different from when he was first seen upon entering the area. His odd yellow eyes looking a little more colorless as he turns and looks at Ayami. "Well, did it work?" He asks the scientists, as he looks around at them, upon speaking, his mouth looked like that of a humans, but when opened revealed a plant like interior. Much like a fly traps, but running down his throat were more spines and plant like parts. he chuckles a little, his voice sounding much the same as he looks in her direction. "Well?"
