Granted! But suddenly you find yourself in a world where no one really likes you because they are so blinded by your wealth all they see is your money, and they LOVE your money, but no one sees the real you anymore and you find yourself in a world full of hypocrites and superficial scum....
I wish that umm..... I wish I could run a marathon.

Granted, but you use up all of your life's energies doing it and drop dead 3 feet past the finish.
I wish I did not have to have all these blood tests tomorrow.

granted....you wait 4 hours waiting to do the tests when they come and tell you that you will have to come back the next day to do them.

granted! But in fact you become SO smitten with yourself you forget to feed your kids and get sentenced to three consecutive life sentences in Folsom after the kids die of malnutrition.. and you make LOTS of friends in Folsom who find you even MORE attractive.
I wish I didn't have to work for my money.

I wish I didn't have to work for my money. granted...money is abundant for you now.... now you have to work for free time to spend your money.

Granted, but they all turn vegetarian, which means you feel compelled to turn vegetarian too. No more bacon burgers for you!

Granted, but I won't say how low on the totem pole Elves end up... suffice it to say it's pretty low, much lower than second class.

granted, but the surgeon you go to is a third rate surgeon in Mexico and he ends up putting romulan ears on you instead and they start dropping off your body after three weeks.
