Shinta hugged her back, "That is perfectly exceptible Calla, esspecially if i get to hug you," He added with a cheeky smile.

"Your welcome," He said with a not so mature smile on his face. He got up and grabbed her hand pulling her back to the others, "So what are we doing exactly?"

((darn i've forgotten i have to go back and read now....))

((i want to change something. in one post i said that taru had only met lily, as any other girl, but in fact he's what you might call a want to be ladys man. so instead he's met girls, but he doesn't really know about them, other than the fact that he thinks they are hot. ok?))

"We were talking about how we need to find allies. There is one guy we should satrt out with. He's the apprentice of Grendal, and grendal we think might also be safe, but we're not sure. We think she's safe because she so adsent minded, no one would want her on their side. We'll show you ur door, then we'll do meet this apprentice. Unfortunatly i don't know her name." He then added, "I hope she's cute."

Shinta nodded at his explination, then rolled his eyes at taru, so that only calla and tempest could see.

"We need an allies," Taru stated, then walked down a tunnel in the cave. The three followed him. They arrived at a small wooden door. Taru stepped through. When Shinta and calla entered they found themselves in a round room. The room was not that big, but where ever you looked there were doors, the doors seemed to shift and slid, as if their were an infinate amount of doors, "We call this the cross of dimensions. I made up the name myself." Taru pronounced.

Taru glowered. HE then walked to a place in the wall and put his hand out. Where he touched the wall, the shifting stopped, and a door solidified. HE reached for the door handle this is where we go.

"Question!" Shinta stated. "Why don't we just teleport?" Taru shrugged, "Tempests idea."

Taru nodded. He stepped through the now open door, Tempest followed. And shinta walked in, holding Calla's hand. When they arrived the found themselves in a study, of a very, very surprised aprentice.

Shinta smiled at her, and picked another one up.

The apprentice stood up, "Who are? how did you get here? What are you doing? I'll have you arrested!"

Taru walked over to him. "Hello, we're here to ask you a few questions." He then pushed on the apprentices shoulders to get him to sit down. The apprentice, who was increddibly tall was now looking taru, who was short, in the face.

The apprentice glanced at Calla, "Hello Miss, that's very nice of you.” He said and blushed, she was very cute.

Shinta frowned at the man’s blush, a twinge of jealousy, not that he would admit it, twanging in his gut. He walked over to the desk and began going through the papers of the Apprentice.

The Apprentice went to stand up, but Taru pushed him down again, “You can’t do this! This goes against Law!”

Taru ignored the acquisition, “Tell us, do you wish to become a great ruler of all time and space?”

The apprentice looked skeptical, “If you’re going to try and offer me power for a favor, or try to bride me with false promises, I won’t let you. It’s not my way. I live the life of a fare and just person, making sure every soul that the collectors run out to get comes to rest in their natural domain. Of course, I’m still and apprentice, but no matter.”

Taru grinned, that was exactly the response he was hoping for, “So tell me, mister justice, has anyone else ever offered you something great, a power beyond imagine?”

The Apprentice stood up, and this time Taru couldn’t stop him. The Apprentice looked down and Taru. “No, no one has, you’re the first. And do you know what? I will never fall to any of your type. I will never fall into the clutches of the greedy. I might mea Shinigami, and in the eyes of the living, evil, but I am where I am meant to be, and if I rise higher, it will come out of my own hard work and diligence.”

Taru grinned, even wider, if that was even possible. He clapped the apprentice on the back. “Well done, well done.” He looked over to Shinta who, while the apprentice was distracted, had gone through the desk, “All clean.” Shinta stated calmly. Taru looked over to Tempest to see his report. Tempest nodded, he had scanned the room for bugs and other tracking, tapping, or other items of suspicion, and found nothing. Taru then looked over to Calla, to see if she had found anything in the books.
