Yuuki gave a small laugh.
"Oh, I knew that, but in regards to how her blood was first taken and used."
Following Destiny over to Iana, she too nodded her concerns.
"You sure everything's ok Iana. I'm sorry if I was being a little too panicky out in the hallway, in case that freaked you out." Yuuki said sincerely. "This is quite the rare situation in any sense."

Smiling Destiny waved her hand at Yuuki and laughed.
"Don't tell her that, then she'll really think we are all nuts here."
She winked at Iana and her smile widened. Looking down at her watch she eyes popped open in shock.
"Damn, Yuuki it's past seven. I don't have anything prepared for tomorrow. Not that I ever prepare something ahead of time. Ehhh.. Oh well. The best thing to do is keep moving forward I guess."
Bending down to shut off her computer she bumped the pages off the desk and they floated to the floor. Looking at them she sighed.
"On second thought. Yuuki, I need to you, as always, stay right beside me tomorrow. If I decide to take a mental leave of absence again you need to get me off the stand and continue to answer questions. I figure we will tell everyone what we know which is not alot."

As night descended upon the city, Dorenel reached out to the winds he created earlier. He pulled them higher into the atmosphere. He crafted them into a ring of wind, like a hurricane without clouds. Then he gathered the water vapor into the winds and formed clouds, clouds that would start to overflow. He then spent the next while gathering more water. The storm would pelt down cold almost frozen rain and some occasional hail. After he finished, Dorenel laid down to sleep and the rain had already started to pour down.
((Where's Aidan? I've been waiting for him to post.))

Constance walked out into the rain and smiled. Rain was her favorite. She pulled her parasol more square over her head and began to walk. Her dagger was hooked to her leg and her sword was by her side, hidden beneath her coat. As she walked she pondered. The leader of the hunters, Destiny, was beginning to be a bit more trouble than she was worth but death was unbecoming of one such as her. No, she would play with the girl a bit longer or maybe she wouldn't kill her at all. It would be a lot more fun to kill Tramer in front of the little pest. But could she bring herself to kill Tramer. She shook her head and sighed. "No..." She whispered. Weather he had the same feelings for her or not, she felt like he was her only friend. Killing him was something she could not bring herself to do, nor could she kill Destiny. That was impossible for her as well.

Jigantro was apalled at the weather now, it had changed very rapidly without warning. His hood and cloak was the only thing that stopped himself from getting pummeled by the rain. He didn't really pay attention to where he was going, it was dark now and he was pleased with that. Before he knew it, he was on the ground. He had merely blinked, but within that time, he had managed to trip over the foot of Constance. He couldn't tell who it was because of the torrent rain, but he felt something, familiar.

Constance felt a slight nudge on her foot and looked at the ground below her. Someone had tripped. She sniffed the air quietly and took note that this was one of her kin. Kneeling down, she asked. "Are you alright?" Her voice was soft and, to a normal mortals ears, would not have been heard. She held out her hand. "I apologize that I seem to have tripped you. I assure you that it was done by accident."

Jigantro sat up, the hood sliding away from his face. "Yeah, I'm fine." The voice didn't click until she helped him up. "Thank you Lady Constance." He looked around, the street was empty of people, but he couldn't tell. "What brings you out here?" He asked this, not knowing exactly where she was.

She smiled lightly. "I'm just walking about. Looking for...a bite to eat. Would you like to join me? I would like some company." She asked it in a question and it was meant as a question. Often times when she asked a question it was taken as an order so, to make things clear, she added. "You don't have to if you don't want to...maybe I can give you a special assignment as well...but that's only if you want it."

"Sure, I'll join you tonight," Jigantro said, not wanting to know what the assignment was. He held his tongue of his confrontation with Bortelex for not knowing what she would say. "Have you decided a course of action we'll need to take once this battle arises?" He wanted to skip his silence from speaking with an odd question, for that time.

As soon as Aidan landed on his feet in the hallway he knelt down by Alexa. "Are you alright?" He asked offering his hand to her to help her up. "I appreciate takeing me through the portal with you but next time let me take my own alright."

"Play the defense, naturally." She was silent for a moment. "Though you do not want to hear the assignment, I will tell it to you. It is your choice to take it or not. But first, I will ask you a few questions." She took a breath. "Tell me what you know about the pages."

Jigantro knew he was now stuck into telling her of the pages he withheld from them all, or at least that he knew of those pages. "Well, really, I don't know much, just what was said to happen around this major battle that is to take place. All I know is that a hybrid will be born and will lead whichever side it chooses into victory, and the side it chooses will completely exterminate the other race. That is it. Why do you ask me this, lady Constance?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Alexa said as she took hold of Aidan's hand to get up. "Really I don't think I'll be doing that again any time soon. Dorenel just wanted to do it because he has been working with me to expand my powers. It's rather tiring and right now I was a little nervous. If I try it again I think I will pull it from the floor instead." Alexa looked around, she had planned on going to Lionheart, but the hall they were in didn't seem familiar to her. "Aidan where are we I don't think I have ever been in this part before."
((I'd like to be in a remote but not restricted part of the building, though I am leaving it up to you to decide exactly where we are.))

Looking around the hallway that they ended up in Aidan shrugged.
"I am not quite sure. I know that we are in headquarters, but I think we are in the lowest level. It has been closed for a few years now due to extensive water damage from a busted pipe from the next floor up."
Walking over to a door he opened it and noticed that there was no furniture or any other signs that the area was being used.
"Hopefully the elevator is not locked and is able to get down to us."

She smiled again, kinder this time. "Oh, I just don't want anyone to know more than is necessary at one time. Of course, I may tell you quite a bit more later. But it all depends..." She looked up at him (seeing as she was about the size of an 8 year old) and said. "Don't bother with calling me 'Lady'. My first name is fine. Would you like to hear about your...well, what might be your assignment?"
