Jackie watched Crow leave them alone. But she still heard what Kioko said. She sighed heavily as she stared into the fire, her mind slowly slipping into madness. Her eyes immediately widened and she looked over at her. "No!" She whispered to her, tears stinging her eyes. "B-But...they can't..."

Crow shook his head at Strobe, unfortunately superhuman hearing was not among his abilities, but it seemed that Max had it covered. After listening to his report Crow looked up towards the top of the cliff, no one seemed to be monitering the area. A wave of sand was kicked up around him as he made a gigantic leap up to the top of the cliff, and landed lightly on the grass there, staying low, he monitered the Ki energies of the beings nearby, being careful to avoid an ambush.

max ran after him, zig-zagging up the steps on all fours like a jungle cat. he got to the top quickly, then pounded his fist into the ground. "dang it! why cant i just fu#!ing be normal?!? i think its getting worse. i dont want to lose my mind" he was crying, tears running down the black tear marks beside his nose.

Kioko placed a hand gently on Jackie's back..
"they are going to be fine..Crow cant talk, but he is superhuman, and Strobe, well, he can come up with any plans, and Max..he want to become a normal human again.." Kioko said reassuring Jackie..
"and besides, i can sense if they are okay or not, and if they need help, then we'll come running..they're not going to turn themselves in anyways.."

Crow looked back at Max for a moment, it seemed the fits were beginning to trouble him more and more, he waited for Max to gain a hold over himself, if they continued further with Max in his current state it might ruin their stealthy approach. Hopefully they would all find their answers here.

"Just focus, Max. It'll all be okay, but we need you to be with us right now. Got it?" He asked the cat-man. His brow was knotted in concern for his friend and for the mission. He trusted Max enough, but he was already fromulating a plan to get them out should anything happen to him.

he took a few deep breaths and stopped crying. then he stood up and said shakily, "ok, im ok. lets hurry though. no more stops. you dont have any idea how scared i am right now." his voice cracked, but he held his composure. his claws moved in and out of their sheaths. this was a sign that he was fighting his own battle for his free will inside his head.

((soo? hows life treating you guys?school is killer for me.just got bak.i was thinking that it is night time already.is that okay?))
Kioko kept tending the fire.the hours went on and she just remained in the comfort of the silence and warmth of the fire.it wasnt awkward, the flames gave off a sense of comfort to her.
"its getting late.we might as well get some sleep, we're going to need it" Kioko said at Jackie and the others.
She bundled up her cloak and used it as blanket, bracing herself for the chill that the night would offer them. She laid relatively close to the fire to keep whatever heat she could get and used her bag as a pillow.
"well, get some rest, good night you guys"

Strobe turned on his heel and ran up the slope which was slick with long grass. He ran up the hill in quick bursts to get behind cover while simultaneously avoiding any thick patches of slick grass. He signaled to the others to make sure they knew that the way was clear.

max got up beside him and said, "let me go first. ill know if someone comes close and im probably the best at sneaking around in tall grass." he crouched low, then stood on all fours. he sighed, "screw it, this doesnt feel half bad right now and its different when i choose to act like an animal." he stalked sneakily through the grass, up to the door. he sniffed all around it, then stood back up on his hind legs. "its clear, come on."

Crow nodded and leapt up into the tree to his right, then in and almost dash-like jump he zipped to the next tree, the one more to put him in proximity with Max. He continued to moniter the immediate area with his ki senses, it seemed that they were fine for the moment, he looked back and waited for Strobe.

Strobe quickly ran and rolled his way into position with the other three and waited for the next move. The cave was in sight, now, and only a few yards away.

max's ears perked. "i hear 2 guards about a hundred yards into the cave. we dont want to kill them, they dont know what goes on in this place, i can hear thats what they are talking about. im scared if i knock them out i wont stop there, and strobe, we dont really want permanent damage either. do you think you could do something about it crow?" he looked back at him expectantly.

Strobe looked at his hands and nodded: He wasn't any good with non-lethal damage either. He looked around for anything to use to knock out the guards, just in case Crow couldn't do anything either....
