ED AC The only problem being that Acelr herself was not on the ground. She was already so close to Death that launching herself meant an actual leap.
Acelr just grinned and winked, slashing at Death's chest as she had done the vines. The slash at Death's chest healed immediately, an echoing scream coming from Ora further away. A stone hand shot from the base of the hole, grabbing Acelr, and pulled her back.
Letting some yellow-green energy coalesce around the silver blade, she launched herself again. The only other difference was that this time, the hand holding the sword was twisted at an angle.

Burning Disaster Blitz met the knaves arm in the air with the Queen of Hearts dagger. ((Darn you both.)) The Knave's mace broke, and the Knave took a step back. "That is a weapon better saved for someone else, oh-so-swift one. Do you plan to suffer her to live?"

Ora was bleeding from the chest now. She glanced at Ruby, grit her teeth and summoned a dark shield to protect the redhead's body. She looked at Blitz and the Knave and grabbed the vial close to her. "Leave me, Blitz, and fight, I'm resigned to my decision. Just make sure the blond drinks the poison." She opened her own vial and took the black liquid into her mouth.
In a minute her head fell to the ground, her vision blurring. The darkness wasn't unfamiliar to her. Her mind drifted once to her master, but she pushed him away, just as he had pushed her away. Her thoughts flowed briefly to the people she loved--even if she would never admit it--and to the people she knew loved her. She wanted to say she was sorry, she wanted to apologize to her mother, to Drake, to her father, to her godfather. There was so much to be sorry for, but her pride would never let her face it. As she died, Ora hoped maybe this action could be apology enough, maybe they would understand...all she ever wanted was for them to understand.

Death screamed in fury as she felt the bond between her and Ora snap. Discs of bladed stone shot up from the ground at Acelr. As Death retreated in the ground herself, burying inside like a mole.
She made her way through the ground to her sisters, rejoining with the queen of hearts who had been screaming in anger at the death of her own bond. As she rose out of the ground, she took the ground with her, forming into a dirt creature standing 20 feet in the air. With her power used on a form change, the dome faded away, allowing escape for those who wished it.
The queen of hearts lit on fire, the heat of it enough to burn anyone who got too close.

Acelr cut right through the stone, but she couldn't follow Death through the ground.
Acelr threw a temper tantrum at this.
The neon angel, who'd been flying around the dome trying to figure out how to get rid of it--all the while dodging falling imps and assorted flares in her direction--blinked in shock as it all disappeared and she was left with open sky. The girl hovered for a moment, then flew back down to find Ruby and Cordelie.
Pilot slowly pushed herself off the ground and put a hand to her pounding head. It came back bloody.
The Purple Jinx saw the dome disappear and looked to the throne. The rock giant stopped her dead, and the older woman stood there contemplating... and laid a jinx, as strong as she could, against its survival. Those jinxes didn't always work, she knew, simply because there were some things too powerful for her to fully effect. Still, the one-time heroine felt a drain and knew she had at least tipped the balance in the crowd's favor.
Old, weakened, and weary, the Purple Jinx hobbled away from the party and out of the park.

(Holy *bleep* on a *bleep* sandwich! I go to school and when I come back everyone's dead! @_@ And thanks for the tutorial, Acelr... I was a teensy bit lost and couldn't find it in the rules.)
Cordelie did not move for a long time. The twister had taken a lot out of her, and that combined with hitting the ground rather hard sent the woman into the soft grey oblivion of unconsciousness for a good ten minutes at least. When she came to, Cordelie wished that she hadn't. The situation had only worsened, the once elegant garden now resembling the carnage of the earlier war at it's peak. Terrified and disoriented, the chocolate haired woman scrabbled to her feet and looked around desperately for cover or escape or at least someone she knew was on her side... whatever side that was.
Unable to see anyone familiar, the woman's icy eyes locked on the woman who had been standing near her when she woke up. Raising her hands defensively in front of her (An act which caused the waters nearby to ripple slightly, as they reacted to her hands rather than specific thoughts) Cordelie quavered "Who are you and what the hell do you want?"

((sorry Sprite, I kept getting distracted, and was going to get to you in the morning. It's not easy to interact with so many different people on so many levels.)) The queen of clubs smiled, and regurgitated the explosive charges, spitting them out of her mouth at the crowds of people....who have probably dwindled quite low by now.

((Ah pffft its okay dont worry about it, it happens every once in a while. especially to people in your position ^_^ )) Miran watches as the explosives hit the ground and sink into it and with a twitch of his eye create small spires of flame not large enough to even give an ant a sunburn as he just looks back to the Queen of Clubs and smirks. "....Like I said snake.....No fear.....No Pain." he says in a smug tone. "So go ahead and bring on anything you got!" he says and again tries to push his strength into the silver dagger, trying to push it further up her form.

Aaron smiled at the dragon, not afraid in the least, he was accustomed to odd things after all. "My name's Aaron. What's yours?" Aaron shrugged, "I like video games" ((Ask a small child about School and they have very little to say. Ask a Kid about something fun and they could write you an encyclopedia series on it))
