If there was anything to make social-savvy Asako get a grip on herself fast, it was something like the unnecessary verbal lash she got from the vampire.

Uh...excuse me? she thought acidly to herself. Since when do I give a s**t about you? If worrying about a friend is pissing her off, then she sure has some mental issues. Besides, here she goes about having no freaking loyalties, when she was the one who took off after Akerian first.

"Listen, freak." Asako said, catching up with Kuragari and grabbing hold of the vampire's shoulder. "I don't know what the hell your problem is, but don't take it out on me. I couldn't give a s**t about you or your demented vampire delusions, but taking out your anger on someone you just met -who, by the way, helped to save our collective a**- is not a good fist impression." Her voice was icy and controlled--after years navigating the social hierarchy, she had to have figured out how to be condescending and cool at the same time.

Her eyes narrowed, and her tail flicked irritatedly. "And he's not my boyfriend, either. Whatever gave you that impression, it's dead wrong, 'kay? And it would help to play nice with the other girls, if you ever want to think of even having a life here. Angst and drama only gets you so far, dear, before it gets old. Got it?" she put her face close to the vampire's.

"Whatever your deal is, save it for someone who cares." Then she walked away from the vampire, not looking back until she had reached her own dorm and settled down to sleep. Her final thoughts before passing out was that this had to be the strangest day of her life, even with having lived most of her years in Faerie.

Aqua gulped as she saw the row between the kitsune and Kurigari. when The kitsune stormed off, and Kurigari walked off, she realised how tired she was. stifling a yawn, she looked around, to see ember flying towards her. smiling, she took off aswell, and followed ember to her window. sliding through it, counting herself lucky she always left it open, her thoughts turned to the battle before-hand, and all that had happened. 'well, this was certainly an action packed second day. i just hope that tomorrow will be a bit better, on the evil-monster-that-wants-to-eat-me front, at least.
still, it certainly an explanation to the fact that the village i grew up was always being attacked by monsters. quite a few of the other people there had angelic heritage. and if they're such a delicacy, maybe i should think about getting some better protection.'
she lay on her bed, feeling infinitely tired but at the same time wide awake. she heard a sleepy call from ember, than lay down on her own bed, closing her eyes and waiting for sleep to come. she was glad she hadn't yet gotten a room-mate, as they would probably have basked her why she had decided to come through the window at this time of the night. turning onto her side, she closed her eyes and, surprisingly quickly, dropped off to sleep.

((Sorry for the wait on this. I mean to move the day forward Friday, but I've been tied up all weekend by a big Photo project. Oh, and just for the record, only mods are allowed to start the intro posts. ^^))

The next morning dawned bright and fair. The bells rang high overhead, sounding the advent of sunrise. Students piled out of bed, changing into their clothing or grabbing a bite to eat, or just chatting with friends.

Mr. Brown greeted the class the next day with a syllabus on faded parchment, detailing the languages they would be covering, and in what order. He gave an especially stern look to Asako as she passed. The kitsune herself only grinned sheepishly.

Lady Oceana smiled gently at her students as they entered, and once they were all seated she called for attention. "You all have made some real progress. I can see a few of you have quite a large potential for this art. But I digress. Today we will be trying to pin down which Gift is strongest in each of you. This will require a great deal of individual attention, so I expect the rest of you to behave yourselves. Now, shall we...?"

Ms. Delacroix handed each student a thin wooden sword upon entering the classroom. "The sword is one of the most basic weapons that can be wielded. As such, I will be teaching you all a few simple moves that can be applied and expanded upon in nearly every other form of weaponry. Got it? Good. Now, watch this..."

Mrs. Morningstar looked at her class sternly once they had all entered. "Yesterday went alright." she said. "But you must remember that discipline is essential. Today we will be learning a bit about elemental magic. Just the practical side, of course, but elemental magic is one of the most basic forms of sorcery. Let's get started."

Mr. Wolfe greeted the class with a dark handsome smile once they had all entered. "Now, today we will be choosing our first book of the term. Keep in mind that these books are supposed t be great work of art--none of that modern-day, Human Realm trash. Now, does anyone have some suggestions?"

Pimm sighed as she walked down the hall, looking for anyone who could point her in the direction of dorm room F101. Her bag was hanging over her shoulder, her suitcase had wheels so she simply rolled it along, The kitten sat on the bag and looked around with big green eyes, mewing lightly every once in a while. Pimm's tail flicked behind her, a nervous habbit she had acquired a few weeks ago. her ears perked at the slightest noise and her nerves were on high ends. were am I going? Pimm thought to her self.
She walked to a random door and opened it, the room was brightly light with several windows, ingrediants for spells littered the shelves allong the walls and the back of the room, a handfull of people and a woman with a slight cross face looked up to her, "Excuse me, but does anyone know were I can find dorm room F101?" ((OCC I'm refering to the magics class room and I'm soory sweatdrop It won't happen again! thanks for letting me know!!!))

Asako woke up refreshed and early, as if the events of yesterday (whether good or bad) had been a dream. Yawning happily, she walked to the bathroom to brush and style her hair. She combed out all the tangles, then teased it into a wavy, luxurious mass of red-gold.

She dressed in a pair of low-slung, red jeans and a baby-tee that showed a small amount of her midriff, on it patterns of yellow roses and orange lilies. Finally she put on a pair of yellow peep-toe heels. To complete the outfit, she pulled a gauzy sweater of white on over her shirt.

Finally ready, she walked out into the common area of her dorm, grabbing a bag of carrots, and sat down to wait for Anne. I must make today a good day! she thought to herself. I must do my absolute best to shine like I normally do at social gatherings! And with that promise, she sat down to wait.

Kuragri woke up to the bells and rolled out of bed slowly. "I HATE waiting up when the sun is up." A high pitched laughter came from Chi's cage, "OH SHUT UP OR I WONT GIVE YOU ANY OF MY BLOOD!!" Chi quieted quickly and pretended to be sleeping.

GEtting up Kuragri threw off her sleeping kimono and pulled on a thick long black kimono with silver obi. Black gloves for her hands and thick black stockings with knee high black boots. Grabbing her cloack she closed the blood drop clasp and headed out of the room. In the main part of the room she went to the fridge and grabed a few bottles of blood that she loaded into her pockets for the day. "Alright time to go to swordplay." Pausing for a moment she remembered her promise from last night, 'better apologize to Asako when I see her. I can't believe I'm going to apologive to her, I'm never sorry for anything I do.'

Taking a deep breath Kuragri headed out the door and down the hall. A scent immeaditly stopped her, 'I think I smell Asako, her dorm must be near here.' Looking around she followed the scent to dorm F101. Going towards it Kuragari took a deep breath before raising her hand to slowly knock.
