he turned and took off to the scene. raine tugged onto mari's arm to let her go. "i'm going too! what if daddy needs help?"

Mari kept ahold of her tightly and gave a glare. "No Raine! Daddy will be fine! You're staying here!" Garreth was a bit worried as well, but was keeping Cyan calm so he wouldn't get worked up.

she shook her head and was getting upset. she always hated when they kept her away from things like this. "why can't i go? i never get to see daddy do anything!"

Mari kept ahold of her and wouldn't let her go. "Because it might be dangerous and I don't want you to get hurt!" Cyan and Garreth were leaning against the wall of the building. "Come on kids, let's get out of the town. We don't know how far the fight will go through the city." Garreth nodded and held onto Cyan's hand, running ahead of them and Mari held onto Raine as they followed behind the two boys towards the exit of town.

raine was very upset and was shaking. she hated when this happened. she wanted to break free from her mother and go. she couldn't understand why she wasn't allowed to go. she knew she could take care of herself.

They had reached the outskirts of the town and she looked back to see if she could see any signs of further destruction to get a hint of what was going on. Cyan was scared and Garreth was focusing on keeping him calm.

there was loud music still playing and could be echoed outside the city. raine looked back and grit her teeth. she still had a fierce glare on her face. she even let out small growls every now and then.

Mari placed her hand on Raine's shoulder and just rubbed it a bit to calm her down. She had faith that Matt was handling things just fine, but if it took any longer, she would need to check out what was going on herself.

she looked away from her mother. he didn't want to see her right now and started walking home on her own.

Mari turned and seen Raine walking towards their home and was a bit upset. Garreth looked up at her and gave her a look as if telling her not to worry about it. Mari told the boys to go to the house after her and once they were out of sight, she ran into town to try to find Matt and could only follow the sound of the music to find him.

in town smash stood in the streets. in front of him was a man dressed in a leather jacket with spikes in the shoulders. he held an eletric guitar and was playing it loudly. that was what crumbled a building. smash had his guitar and tried to match his music. he seemed to be outmatched but he wouldn't give in.
raine walked to her room and slammed the door. tears flowed down her eyes in a rage and she punched her pilow. she was breathing hard and started to consider leaving.

Mari had made her way to where Matt was and had taken off her jacket and gloves. She went to her demon form and her wind and fire wheels appeared in her hands with the chain gauntlets around her wrists. While the man was busy with Matt, she threw one of her wheels at the guitar full force to attempt to break it.
Garreth and Cyan went to their room which was across the hall from Raine's. Cyan played with some toys and Garreth squinted his eyes towards Raine's door before walking into his room and finding something to do.

the rocker seen her comming and dodged her attack then sent a soundwave her way. while he was doing this, smash jumped into the air and landed beside the rocker and slammed down on his guitar, cauing him to be blown back, into a building.
raine remained in her room and was still fuming. she then decided to go outside to vent. she grabbed her sword and strapped it to her back. she walked out her room and headed for the door.

She dodged the soundwave and after he was knocked into the building, she then tossed the wheel at his guitar to destroy it.
Garreth heard her and looked down the steps at her. "Hey. Don't do anything stupid." He was glaring down the steps at her and was willing to stop her if necessary.

the rocker looked up then swung his guitar to deflect the wheel. he stood up and sent out a huge soundwave, blowing back both of them. he stood there and took the force and started sending waves of his own back at him.
raine shot him a glare. "leave me alone." she walked to the door and walked outside, slamming the door behind her.
