"because they werent' trying to kill my parents.... they were trying to kill me.. he said he rather see me dead than with orochimaru...... because of what is inside of me and what Orochimaru added. He wanted to become the ultimate weapon pretty much, with me not able to die I fall close to that category...there is a lot of fear, i feel it, not myself but others, i can feel what they feel, but that is it. I have many ways of getting to know what i want to know, and Neko will die."
Her curse mark began glowing slightly reacting to her want to kill and the power of all of it combined. There was more anger and hate inside of then ever had been in her before.

Clow looked away from her.
"I've found a way to unlock a power even greater than your demons, alright? I don't want to have to use it anyone, really. But you realize I'm going to on Orochimaru right? And anyone else who gets in my way."

She put her hand over the mark feeling the discomfort of it and growled .
"I won't be in your way... why would i hurt you?"
Mai loked at him confused when he said anyone else who gets in his way, almost as if partially referring to her thinking she would.
"the demon no longer fights with me, he has what he wants for now, he uses it as it wishes, the curse mark on me is becoming stronger and stronger by the day. I feel it burn, like it is combinging with my demon, like my demon is taking it for itself and making me stronger, making me.... better...."

Clow sighed and then looked to her.
"I know you wouldn't try to hurt me. Just...I want you to relax a bit okay? Everything's going to be alright."

"clow... how could you possibly..... find something stronger than my demon that won't kill you at that strength... my demon can kill me easily in it's full form... if i ever went to it.... i'd have no chance in the end. There is no way you can gain that power without an aftereffect..... what is it?"
Mai was one to catch onto things very quickly, onto different information and problem solving, what her problem was , was emotions, which had the biggest effect of all, the fact she could sometimes feel and other times be an empty shell.

She finally looked up finally at him and to the side straight at him.
"no...... you can't do it clow.... you only have one life to live... wait.... I have a way you won't die... "
She moved her hand to her chest over her heart for a moment closing her eyes.
"it's time....You could make better use of it then I ever could in all my lives. Have seph extract the demon from me...... have him seal a part of it in you.... it will keep you living... so even if you die you'll be returned... please it doesn't need all of it, just part of it. "
Mai had always refused to ever give up the demon, she refused to let anyone try anything to it, yet now she was offering it to protect Clow from dying for good. Mai knew what it would do to her, but she didn't mind. She was very content with the outcome.

"I have twins on the way. My first kids...at 17 year old. I mean...what if they never find out who their father was?"

Mai had felt seph walking off and then got up.
"i'm going to see my sensei." She said.
Mai ran off and to the medbay and jumped on Seph's back as he walked there.

Seph felt her approach and took a step forward, holding himself up against her pounce. "Whoa, there. Kiddo, you've gotta stop doing that, almost made my heart jump out of my chest." He stood tall and let her hop off. "Did you need me?"
