The problem with Oblivionic's character isn't that it's overpowered in the sense of 1 on 1 fairness. I'm pretty sure he won't be trying to grab you and tell you "hey I'm stronger than you so I win all the time."

It's overpowered in the sense that he still wants to be able to fight anything and everyone.

In order to take on everything that the rp community in gaia comes up with, you have to have a stacked character. And even moreso if you're only using hands. You just have to. Otherwise your character is grossly outclassed.

Especially with people doing all kinds of crazy s**t in battle. Trying to use status effects type clauses with their magic and stuff. Magic is highly corruptible and abusable.

You either power up.
Or you pick some lane off to the side and stay in it.

This is the reason I don't use Reiko anymore. Because in response to everyone else's powers or growing powers, in order to stay on level with them I had to keep giving Reiko powers to deal with them. I wasn't gonna stand for having my character outclassed. And he just became super powerful. So I just said "okay Reiko is God.. let's do something else."

EDIT: I've long-since realized the flaw in specific stats. All it takes is for someone to come along and say they can lift just a little more, move just a little faster, think a little quicker.

So, when I say 'normal trained human', think of a marine in active duty. Able to lift between 200 and 280 pounds. ETC....

Normal in the sense that, genetically enhanced humans, or fantasy races don't ACTUALLY exist.

My reason for not wanting to fight you is not based on my winning or losing the fight.

Its based on the fact that I simply would not enjoy fighting you, or playing the game with you due to your character's construction. It would likely cause me too much frustration, and I'd rather avoid that all together. So, once again...

I think he's overpowered because I'm more of a "stay in your lane" kind of guy.

But if he wants to be in every lane.. then he has to have something that enables him to navigate there. Which is why he has all those powers.

Reiko is fair. But Reiko is also overpowered. I change him according to potential threat.

"Only h2h no powers no weapons? Okay.. simple, let's go"

And then there's...

"Your character can level a city block with a fireball? Cool. Mine can do it with a punch, cause he doesn't throw fireballs. I think that evens the score."

That's how it works.
