Sammy realized that it was useless to try and fight him. "Fine, but we are not going more than twenty feet from shore..." she muttered, taking light steps onto him. Surprisingly, with her extra weight because of the tail, she didn't weigh all that much. She curled her legs to her chest as she sat, hoping not to fall by accident.

x-cupids arrow-x Sammy realized that it was useless to try and fight him. "Fine, but we are not going more than twenty feet from shore..." she muttered, taking light steps onto him. Surprisingly, with her extra weight because of the tail, she didn't weigh all that much. She curled her legs to her chest as she sat, hoping not to fall by accident. Dark laughs. He had Nasty Plotted just in case. With a light kick the two begin to drift away from shore. "I don't get your fear of water. I mean I'd die if I fell in, sink right to the bottom, but you're buoyant."

Sammy gave him a comical expression that seemed to say, "Oh, really?" she then raised her hand up, letting a small spark emerge. "Electricity and water, when combined, tend to make some nasty results. While I am often able to contain my electricity, one acidental spark and I would be in a great deal of pain," she explained, although that wasn't the only reason she was scared of water.

Salamence circles overhead, scanning the beach for a good landing site. I spot two forms floating in the water, but there isn't quite enough light to make out their identities from this height. They aren't in any distress so I say nothing.

Dark chuckles. He stops moving realizing they were pretty far from shore. "The waves are calm tonight. Which is good since I don't like drinking salty water."

"Gargling salt water actually helps with nasal congestion," Sammy stated a bit randomly, giving Dark a curious look. "I do not understand why you find it so amusing to float in the water, though. It is nothing special."

"That and I find the rocking of the waves to be calming."

Sammy shrugged a bit. "I suppose that would be accurate." Her TADS then began to beep. "I am afraid I must be leaving now... But, just in case this is the last we see of one another for now..." she grabbed Dark's palm, then planted a kiss on him. That was probably the biggest show of emotion she'd given anyone in... Well, awhile. She then bounced back to shore, walking into HQ.

Then inhales salt water. He was so distracted he forgot he was surfing. He struggles back to shore, doing his best not to drown or cough up a lung.

Adam sits up, fed up with waiting around. He steps through the teleporter onto the beach. "Thanks for inviting me to the party~" The Angel quipped, walking over to Thard and Dark.
