Shinji had always loved Halloween...but he was pretty sure that now he loved it even more. It took a long moment for him to let the kiss crumble, but he smiled shyly and brushed fingers over her cheek as he let his lips leave hers. "So...Are you back here for good, now?" Okay, so maybe it was a bit of a stupid question, but for sake of not sounding like a broken record yet, it was all he could ask.

"As far as I can foresee, yes..." She said with a nod. "It took awhile, but I finally managed to get the house back in order... wouldn't wanna leave again after all that hard work.." she said with a bit of a giggle, as that definitely wasn't the only reason she wanted to stay in the underground now.

Shinji let out a soft laugh too. "Yes, definitely wouldn't want to put so much effort into restoring the house then leave it again. A few of us cleaned up our old house and are moving in for a while..." his words trialed off there. He hadn't planned on staying more than a few days with his siblings in the underground, but if Lena was here as well, and she wanted to try to make things work, he definitely didn't want to leave again. But rather than offer that he'd be happy to stay in this place for her, he simply smiled broadly and cupped her cheek gently.

"I thought I had a tough job cleaning a house with only 6 rooms... But then again, you really don't have to clean things by hand...." she said with a bit of a laugh.

"No..." he laughed, blushing softly as he glanced away slightly. "I would probably still be helping the others clean up if we had to do it all by hand. We cleared it out though and Mom shifted the magic holding it together. It's not quite so large anymore, not at all. A simple four bedroom, three bathroom appearance with great webs of magic so that the bedroom doors can move you into a few different rooms depending on who you're looking for." If he had been tryin to explain to anybody else that would have made no sense, but he knew that Lena would understand. And that made him smile broadly.

"Sounds a lot more simple, and more complicated all at the same time..." She said with a bit of a laugh "I imagine it'd be pretty easy to get lost... shifting rooms and all..."

"Mom's made it so it's pretty impossible to get lost," he laughed, giving Lena the gentlest of squeezes. "The door to my room could also take you to Tristian, Atari, Caleb, Ethan, or Tajiro...But it would depend on whether or not any of them were expecting you. If none of us were expecting you to drop by, the door would lead you to a fully furnished room, but it would be like a room in an inn or something. No personal artifacts." He smiled after Lena, and tried not to let out a laugh over how strange all of that sounded to himself.

Shinji smiled broadly over Lena's words and caught her lips in a gentle kiss before speaking. "I'm glad that you haven't forgotten any of the weird quirks my family has," he started, brushing his thumb over her cheek. "Because you're absolutely right - To anybody else, that would sound crazy, and it wouldn't make sense at all."

Lena let out a bit of a giggle as she said "Yeah... they're a little hard to forget... but that's okay.. makes things more interesting..." She smiled up at him.

"More interesting...That's an awfully nice way to put it..." he teased, a laugh escaping him as he rest his forhead to hers. If it weren't for the fact that his stomach were still in knots over being so close to her again, he would have thought for sure he was dreaming. Things were going so well, so easily. "If you'd like, I could show you the 'new' house sometime?"

Shinji's heart lept and he couldn't help but near glow with joy as he dipped his head to meet Lena's lips. "Maybe...You'd like to come by tomorrow? I'll help you clean up the club after the festivities and then I'll make you lunch and show you around?"

Shinji held Lena close to himself, resting his head to hers as he better rest his arms around her. His eyes fell shut and he quietly thanked the forces that be for allowing things to go so well. His lips remained curved in a smile as he slowly moved with her to the music, despite the fact that the song playing over the speakers was considerably uptempo.
