Getting both isn't a bad idea actually. surprised
You can build up quite a large mob of Blood Claws, which is something they really need to keep their selves going: numbers.

Techmarines could go either way really: either you paint them in the "traditional" way, with red armour and Chapter highlights, or in the "modern" way, mainly in Chapter livery with red highlights. "Traditional" "Modern" Personally I feel that you might be better off with the "Modern" look, seeing as you are going with Salamanders.

No, the Techmarine entry does not list a dedicated transport option, so sadly no, he will have to hoof it, or hitch a ride with a Land Raider.

aww damn.. i was hoping to drop pod him in with my two dreads
edit:
although.. i think i just thought of a loophole.. atatch him to a tactical squad of ten men which would be split in half because of combat tactics, ( half deployed on the ground ) due to his independant character rule, then select a drop pod for the tactical squad, and so he might just be able to hitch a ride with them

Drop pods can hold up to twelve models. Somehow.

Somehow. yeah, but with the current army list ive got, half of the squad is going to be long range fire support, ( plasma cannon, or las cannon ) and the other half is close combat based with multi meltas and flamers while using drop pods and razorbacks

Getting into space wolves soon, but question, for Grey Hunter packs, what would you all reccommend? 9 man squad with a melta gun, wolf standard, mark of the wulfen, power fist and a wolf guard with power fist and combi melta?
or a 10 man squad with two melta guns, wolf standard, mark of the wulfen, and a single powerfist?
It's a bit of a tradeoff, more tank hunting or more anti monstrous creature in melee?
Just wanting some advice, i'm leaning towards the former option (for the extra point of LD, and the power fist)
