XxDARTH RIVLENxX
the directions are: use substitution to slove the linear system

11.{2x+3y= -6
3x+2y= 25

those two problems are both supposed to fit into this thing { sweatdrop
hated those crying

-has probably known how to do those at some point...but has completely forgotten by now confused -

it's annoying... why learn all of that crap when the only reason in our entire lives we need to know it is to solve the stupid ******** problems they assign us in the first place

USELESS ... and easily voided from the mind once no longer necessary

I hated those so much. My teacher was senile and slow as ********, and I never really learned how to do them. >.<

I couldn't agree more xp

But of course teachers enjoy tormenting us. And they have the strange gene that gives them the idea that we "need" to learn these things... confused I disagree with this. xd

I tried studying it myself, but the textbooks examples and explanations are of little to no use.

oh well i can tell who how your supposed to do it but i never end up with the right awnser sweatdrop

first you pick either one or the other of the two equations and solve for either x or y

so like for 3x+2y= 25 you could subtract 2y from both sides and get

3x=-2y+25 hen divide by 3

y=-2/3x+25/3

(hates fractions)

then since you have an y value you can go and plug it back into the other problem

like 2x+3(-2/3x+25/3)=25

i have tried these problems at least 4 times each (theres another one just like this) and i allways get the wrong awnser

i have the correct awnser for this one since its in the book but with no work the problem will be marked wrong sad

edit: then once you solve for X you go back to the other equation and plug it in to get Y
