Once Cody had the area measured up, Kai cracked his knuckles and went to work. what followed was a whirlwind of cutting, sawing, drilling, painting and all other sorts of construction noises. After a while the connter was complete. It stood about 4 feet high with the front of it covered in glass so the cakes that were to go inside could be seen. An old fashioned cash register sat on top of the counter, whilst an antique-looking wooden sign hung from the roof. It simply read 'Kai's Cakes' in old fashioned text.
"Well then... what do you guys think?"

Amaterasu walked over and looked at Kai's creation. (yay! Ammy's back) "I think it lookes quite nice... however..." She looked at Kai with a pouty look "How come you didn't make me a cake? Rocky got one..." Kai laughed, oaky, okay. I'll make you one later". he looked at the empty counter, it was getting too late to start baking cakes now, so he would start first thing in the morning.
"As thanks for letting me build this, I'll make everyone a delicious cake tomorrow".
But there was something important he had to do first.

"Hey! Where'd my chainsaw go?"

Dimitris Looked to Fun Lei and nodded. "Hello."

"Hmm, I see you have a natural prowess with architecture." Dimitris commented trailing his eyes over the harsh steady lines. Though the form is lacking it looks pretty good. "I am not the one with the plans, just critique, talk to Kai."

cody hands kai a chainsaw with a bow on it and says "i got you a new one to celabrate you shop opening." mumbles to self "or just had one i need to get rid of"

Elvric Kon stepped into the cafe, shaking his head to warm up. He hung his long coat and hat on the hat and coat rack near the door. Elvric Kon was an otter, with sleek brown fun, and a lighter brown under coat. He sat himself down at an empty table, and looked around the place. He wore a red button up shirt, unbuttoned to where his grey v-neck t-shirt was showing. Elvric had on dark grey jeans, and black sneakers. In his jacket there was a bladed pistol, unloaded and hidden along with a small amount of ammo. ~I do not want any violence here, but I am prepared.~ he thought to himself.

Elvric looked at the girl who just sat near him. He continued sitting where he was, keeping silent, but letting her know that he was aware that she was near him.

Elvric smiled and held out his hand, waiting for the ferret to give him the cookie. "Did you bring this for me?" he asked, smiling at him and his owner. "Would you care to join me?" Elvric asked the girl.
